I've been advised, by a lady that works at my gym to do 3 reps of 15 normal crunches a day followed by 3 reps of 15 side crunches on each side.
Side crunches are exactly the same only you rest your legs to one side, this works your love handles.
ibettershakethis answered Thursday April 5 2007, 12:44 pm: for your stomach i would definitely suggest doing some sort of ab workout. what you're doing right now is just working on your hamstrings and calf muscles. you should definitely keep doing these exercises but i would also work on something with abs like these workouts:
if you're into something simpler, just try doing crunches and sit-ups. 50 of these a day should start you off fine and add more if you think you can handle it. you may not see effects immediately but they will start to work. [ ibettershakethis's advice column | Ask ibettershakethis A Question ]

I would suggest the oldest in the book. Crunches.......If your with a buddy, try using medball workouts, ask the people working at your gym about it. They can show you some really good workous.
