advice
i am working on saving up to buy a car by August. Can anyone give me good saving techniques? I work as a cashier but im afraid i won't really save the money ..
Open up a savings account and put as much of your paycheck as you can afford to spare into it each payday. Make a deal with yourself that you can't withdraw money from the account unless it's an emergency, or unless it's for the car.
the mouse on my laptop broke, the one where you use your finger to move.. and it wont move at all and this has been happening for the past 2 weeks and everytime the mouse doesnt work, i need to press tab to get everywhere. i tried to plug in a mouse but there are no plugs for the mouse. i heard that all laptops had this but why doesnt this laptop have it? by the way this laptop is from dell and it saysinspiron | 1100 on the top ..can someone help me make the mouse work?
You can buy a mouse that plugs in to your USB port. Your laptop should have one(same place you plug in a printer).
If i were to babysit, where could i like help? I only have my 2 little cuzins, and i dont want to ask for money right up-front. And i dont have anyone around my neighborhood to do this. where should i go? what should i do?
When I first started babysitting I had my mother ask around at work for people who needed sitters. I got a lot of jobs and my mom was happy because she knew and trusted the people I was sitting for.

My mother can treat ones with * next to them since she is a vet tec. No animal hospitals are open at this time and the SPCA wont take them in since they are too much to handle/care for. I dont need sarcastic remarks this seoncd and if your any help at all, I will give you a 5. Thank you, meg
My advice, although it's probably not what you want to hear, is to take them to an emergency vet. Respiratory infections can get serious for kittens fast, if you have an emergency vet near you I'd go ahead and take them.
ok...my very close friend told me that in her study hall class allll the guys wouldnt shut up bout my ass and my tits and thats all they talk about. and i no that 3 of them definitly like me...but she said the other 3 were sayin they do to. its not a big deal that their talkin bout me but they talk about me in front of me!! and thats kinda pissing me off. yea, their sayin good things but its just ew...lol. a lotta ppl tell me that i should b happy that im a "pimpette"but their all my close freinds and its just makin me kinda mad.
That's sexual harassment, and I'm sure your school has rules against it. You can try asking them to stop. Tell them it makes you uncomfortable and let them know it's sexual harassment and they could get in trouble for it. Hopefully that will stop them. If it doesn't you can tell a teacher.

Anyway, I met my best friend in 2nd grade.. which I wasn't friendw with her then... We became good friends just a couple years ago. We met up and BOOM we were like instantly friends. I've never had a friend better than her. Well, over time our friendship has kinda evolved into sincere love. Not crush love, but love like I can honestly see myself marrying her. My internal problem-I want to have more experiances than just with her. SHould I ask her out now? I'm afriad it might ruin our friendship if something bad happens. I really don't want to limit myself to just her, not till I'm pretty experianced in sex and things. I just want your opinions on things. Wait till college? Just state any kind of opinions! THANX!
If you think of going out with her as 'limiting' yourself, then you aren't ready for a relationship with her. It'd be better if you had your 'experiences' now, instead of dating her, then dumping her because you feel you're limiting yourself.
I was wondering if it was ok to go shopping with your mom every now and then. Cause i go up to Pennsylvania every summer and Christmas to see my mom and i am 14. We always go shopping together because i dont have friends up in Penn. cause im only staying there for just a few weeks, so i was wondering if its strange or immature or something just cause you go shoppin with your mom for clothes and coffee, please, i really want peoples opinions! thanks so much!

No. You should always use protection. Pregnancy is not the only thing you are risking by not using protection, you are also risking HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
I NEED to learn how to swallow pills... i just cant do it, i have a huge gag reflex but i'm in so much pain and the only med. i can get is swallowable. Anyone know any tricks??
If putting the pill in your mouth and taking a drink of water doesn't work, you can try taking a sip of water, and then putting the pill in your mouth and swallowing everything together. If that doesn't work, you can crush the pill and mix it with yogurt or pudding(you'll have to eat it all if you do this).
I recently had sex for the first time (about a month ago) and since then I've needed to pee an unusual amount. And when I do pee, it can really hurt. I now have trouble controlling when I need to pee too. Like, the second I get home from school I have to run to the toilet or I'll like pee myself. It's so embarrassing. The other night I even peed while in bed and got really freaked out. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME?!
Sounds like a urinary tract infection. Sexual intercourse is a common cause of urinary tract infections. Go see your doctor, if it's an urinary tract infection it can be easily treated with antibiotics.
Hi there! I've got my own column on here (EMiLYELiZABETH) but today I'm needing some advice.
I'm 2O/f and tomorrow I've got a huge job interview with the police department. My question is... what should I wear and how should I do my hair?? It's brown with reddish highlights, half way down my back (about to the bottom of my bra). I like it either up or down, so that isn't an issue.
As far as what to wear, I was wondering about pinstripe pants or a skirt? Also, what kind of shirt? I've got a few nice sweaters or some that I can layer with.

If you wear a skirt, make sure it's not to short. Think church clothes, a skirt that is to short for church, is most likely to short for a job interview. On the same note, a shirt to tight or low cut for church, isn't good for an interview either. I think a nice sweater and pinstripe pants, or a simple skirt would be fine. Also, remember to do your nails, either make sure they're painted or leave them unpainted, don't go in with chipped nail polish. And if you wear earrings, don't wear any bigger than a dime, and dangly earrings are probably not a good idea either. You might want to wear your hair up, in a simple bun, or in a ponytail, or just clip it back from your ears with barrettes. Good luck!

I would be. Kissing someone else, even in a game, is cheating in my book. But you say you've kissed other people as well? I think you both need to have a talk about this, and stop playing such immature games.

Hot Topic has a lot of Nintendo shirts. You could either pick some out for your brother, or buy him a gift card and he can pick them out for himself.
Ok! Well I have to go to the doctor tuesday with my mom to get birth control. Im just really stressing out about the papsmear. I shave down there and Im not sure whether or not I want my mom in the room when they do that. They also have to ask you if your sexually active and I really dont want my mom knowing all that either! Any info, advice, etc.?

Ok, I am 44 yrs. old and my husband is 47, we have been married about 6 months, and are professonal decent people. My problem is my husband is not interested in making love to me, when we first married, we had a decent sex life,. then no more for the past several months. If I bring it up he gets mad. Says hes just tired,or could be his antidepressants he takes, etc.. But he has time to be internet addicted, and reads a lot, anything to keep from being with me. I had caught him on the net several times talking to men, over a year ago, but he had a excuse for that, he was "just messing" with the gay guys for a laugh. Now I wonder. You might want to check into marriage counseling. Tell him he either needs to go to counseling with you, or tell you what the problem is. You are his wife, you deserve to know what's going on with him, don't take no for an answer. Him avoiding the situation isn't going to fix anything.
ok i got this bacterial infection in my throat adn i was prescribed pills but i dont care much for them. i took them how i was suposed to for a week and i have like a bunch left but i feel fine, should i continue taking them even tho i feel fine?

Your video card may not meet the requirements for the game. Make sure you have the latest drivers. If that doesn't work you may need to look into getting a new video card. I have an ATI Radeon 9200 and I'm very happy with the graphics in my game. They're around 80 dollars at http://www.newegg.com

I recently had my pap smear and the results came back fine. My doctor said that the Pap smear was normal. I did not have the HPV, but this is were I'm confused, she told me to go back for another testing in 6 months because they found changes in the cells of my cervix.

If you are concerned about this, you should call your doctor and talk to her about it. Ask her about it, what it could mean, why the scheduled another test.
A friend of mine and i went to the movies the other night, and as were pulling up, i see the guy i like standing next to a car down the lot. I was getting all excited when he stood up, and then i saw what he was holding, and i was repulsed. In one hand, he was holding a lit joint, and in the other, a half empty bottle of vodka. I had no idea he did these things!! And i have my values..i try not to associate with ppl who do harm to themselves in such ways. Even though his lifestyle goes against my beliefs, i cant seem to get over my feelings for him. I just dont how to do it. How do i 4get this guy?
First of all I wanted to tell you that I think it's great that you are sticking to your values. You made the right choice. It is so easy to get pulled into doing drugs and drinking if you hang out with people who do things like that. When you start thinking about him, just try to remind yourself that he's not who you thought he was, that you have different values and that you guys most likely wouldn't work out anyway.
