Post a sign in the supermarket. Make sure you post a price ($5 per hour per kid is what I charge), and your age and phone number. You should get responses from interested parents!
♥ Hope I helped.

Maybe you could put up flyers that you would babysit. Or ask others if they know someone who needs a sitter.

Ps: If you ever need help or advice, go to my column.

If baby sitting is an option, you definitely ought to tRy that. HoweveR, baby sitting is a seRious matteR. Make shoRe you know exactly how to peRfoRm CPR on infants and toddleRs in case of emeRgency, and once that is all settled, you can add that to youR Resume, which would be teRRific. PaRents aRe wayyyy moRe likely to give you theiR business if they feel theiR child will be safe with you. TRy making a bunch of flieRs and distRibuting them on the bullentin boaRds of youR closest couple of gRoceRy stoRes; fRee advceRtising -- that's what it's theRe foR. Also, you can tRy putting an ad in the papeR, if possible. Best of luck to you! =D

When I first started babysitting I had my mother ask around at work for people who needed sitters. I got a lot of jobs and my mom was happy because she knew and trusted the people I was sitting for.

You can always write advertisement signs and post them on bulletins in libraries and maybe your neighborhood pool. Make sure you have permission first. You can post advertisements almost anywhere. Hope I helped

Ask your mother if she has any friends that need baby sitters. You can also help out at the local daycare center.

put up flyers with your number around your town/city. people are always looking for babysitters and they dont know where to find them. if you go anywhere that has a public bulliten board put some up there. ask your parents to ask thier friends if they need a babysitter. babysitting is kind of a job where you rely on word of mouth, so once you get a few jobs, if they think you did a good job they'll tell thier friends and you'll get more jobs. take any oppourtunity you can get to advertise yourself.
