I was wondering if it was ok to go shopping with your mom every now and then. Cause i go up to Pennsylvania every summer and Christmas to see my mom and i am 14. We always go shopping together because i dont have friends up in Penn. cause im only staying there for just a few weeks, so i was wondering if its strange or immature or something just cause you go shoppin with your mom for clothes and coffee, please, i really want peoples opinions! thanks so much!

Of course! go shopping with your mom. I know, I know, it might look a little corny but it shows that you and your mother have a good bond to go shopping with each other. and that is really sweet these days. So, go shopping with your mom, its OK! I go shopping with my mom all the time, and she does really have a lot of good opinions on what I should by, and she picks out some really cute things. I know it might be hard to believe but usually when my mom picks out something that I should by and I neglect it, I find out later that its actually in style. So i could have been ahead of the crowd! haha

What exactly are you worried about? I've shopped with my mom forever and I still do. I've never had a problem with it? Are you afraid of what other people might say? It's definitely NOT immature or strange to go shopping with your mom! I think you should consider yourself *lucky* that you are able to shop with your mom.

its only cool to shop with your mom if shes paying for you stuff. But in your case its ok to go shopping with your mom cause u don't see her alot and she wants to have mother daughter moments with u.

i live rite outside of philly adn um as far as i no its not weird or anything to go shopping with ur mom i meen i do sometimes wen i have 2 and nobody is like wow ur a freak cuz u go 2 the mall with ur mom... hope i helped!!

No it is not strange or immature! You have many people in your lifetime, friends can be anybody, blood or non-relative. It's not the relation, it's the relationship and how important time spent with that person is...and let me say your mother is a wonderful person to spend time with; enjoy it!!

If you an your mum have a good relationship, and if you have simmilar tastes then it's fine. I know people who are in their 30's that go shopping with their mums evey once in a while; It's not silly or immature at all.

Sweetie! It's totally okay! Your 14 and I know it seems dorky (I felt the same way) but the older you get the younger you act! lol. For example I went through a phase where I would be like "ewwww family....no I don't hang out w/ them" but the older I got the more I realized hanging out with your family is cool. Me and my mom set aside one day a month where we have like a day of beauty. We go get our nails done, shop, grab some food, go to a hair salon, whatever we feel. Its great to spend time w/ her b/c everything I'm going through she's been through before and she can help me through it! Now that I'm older we dont have time to sit and talk anymore and we argue alot but I really look forward to hanging out w/ her! One of these days you'll understand! But no, your not dorky! Just remember your mom brought u into this world.....she can take you out. lol. Take care! -Sonnie

Sweetie, it's not immature at all! I always shop with my mom because it's fun! I'm 14 too! You get to spend her money lol! You also get to spend quality time with her! It's alright to shop with your mom! Where did you get the fact that you aren't allowed to shop with her? Hope I helped :)

Hun, that is not immature at all. I love shopping with my mom, I always have good conversations. If you don't know anyone up there it doesn't matter. Quality time with you're mom is limited since she doesn't live with you, so enjoy it make the best of it.
