I'm female, but I've had a long talk with a male friend about this and I can reiterate what he said.
Getting a boner period basically embarrasses the guy. I mean, it's understandable. Guys sometimes don't want you to know how much you turn them on.
When people notice a guy has a boner, they laugh. It's funny. So guys are considerably embarrassed by getting hard in class.
When holding someone's hand, guys are embarrassed because they don't want you to know that you're turning them on.
I don't know what you mean when around "girls" but it's probably the same answer.
That said, every guy is different and the feelings will sometimes vary. But for the most part, yeah, guys are somewhat embarrassed.

Next to the back button, there are buttons that say STOP, REFRESH, HOME, SEARCH, FAVORITES and HISTORY. They have the little pictures on them, but a mouse over will tell you what they mean. Click on the history one and your history will come up. You can either click on the site you want to delete and delete that or click on the day and delete all the sites for that day.
To stop saving all your history and to never have any, go to TOOLS (between Favorites and Help) and go down to the last thing on the drop down menu, which is INTERNET OPTIONS. At the bottom, something will say History and there will be a place were you can select the # of days the History should be kept for. Simply set that to zero.

Alright, here's the deal. I need to shed off quite a few pounds, I have until the end of November to do it.
Now I know the best way to get rid of weight is to exercise. I work two jobs, I don't have the energy to really work out when I have to work and on if I do get a day off from one job or another I just want to relax. Occassionally I take a few walks or jogs around the block. It hasn't been often though lately.
As much as I'm on the go and doing something I have a very slow metabolism. It's hard to lose weight for me. Anyone know how to jumpstart it?
I am trying to watch what I eat as well. Are there any kinds of food that are great for burning off fat? Or any kind of liquids?
I know that diet pills are not healthy, but they seem to be 'quick' so if anyone has had an expierence with a diet pill that has worked please let me know.
So I need quick and easy diet tips for shedding the pounds. I will rate 5 for all answers.

Have you tried joining Weight Watchers? It's diet is the only diet proven to help you lose weight. It allows you to eat what you want, but less of it. It's a really good program and can probably help you lose the weight you need. There are meetings in most cities and towns, and you can probably find one near you.
If not, I suggest drinking water before meals, and lots of it. Water is zero calories, keeps you hydrated and makes you feel fuller than you are so you eat less. Also, snacking on carrots and celery is good because they are no calories and they fill you up. You can eat as many as you want without worry because they'll help you lose weight, not gain.
Other than that, try cutting chips and cokes out of your diet. Only drink water at dinner and the movies.

Virtually EVERYTHING has a hero's journey too it. Every single story has a hero's journey.
I haven't read A Midsummer Night's Dream in forever, so I don't quite remember what it was about. But I'm pretty sure there are at least two hero's journeys. One for the guy who gets turned into a donkey and one for the chick that's in love with that guy.

Nope, you can pee (and poop) with a tampon in. You have three holes down there--one where you pee, your butthole and the hole you put a tampon in. If you follow the instructions on the box, you are not going to put it incorrectly.

My friend Chelsea is on Birth Control and she always has something wrong with her. such as bad headaches,cramps, and a few times shes had to switch medicine because of the side effects and go to the hospital. and she said something the other day like. I wish i never started these things. I have been thinking about getting on BC so that way i would know when my period is coming and such (im 15) but i was just wondering is birth control that bad with everyone? It is not that bad with everyone, but some girls have a problem with it, just like some girls have a problem with Advil.
I'd advise against going on the pill to early. Taking it for three or more years can greatly increase your risk of cervical cancer.

k well i got my period on the 13th (right before i went to bed.) this is not my first period; i've had it since march. anyway, i went to bed and in the morning i woke up and there was no blood on the pad. when i got home from school, there was no blood either. and the NEXT morning there wasn't either. i haven't seen it since then. what happened? are periods THAT short? They can be. I know mine sometimes mine will only last a day or two and the next month be really heavy. It's probably not a big deal.
HOWEVER, talk to your mom and ask her about her cycle. Are her periods that short? Because if that's never happened to your mom, ever, then you might want to go to the doctor and check it out. Nothing is probably wrong--periods can really be that short occasionally--but it's good to err on the side of caution.
If nothing is wrong then consider yourself lucky. :-P

i've tried many products and used the coldest of water but my hair is ALWAYS FRIZZY. it's very thick and curly and i don't want to cut it..how can i make it look healhty and smooth but GET RID OF THE FRIZZ! will rate high!! (link)

My hair is semi-frizzy also and the best thing I've ever done was buy a CHI hair straightener. I wash it normally, let it air dry (blow drying takes the moisture out) and then straighten it. It takes 5-10 minutes and it makes my hair look that much better. They're pretty expensive, but they last the longest and work the best. It's not worth wasting your money on a cheaper brand of straighener because most cheap ones will take forever to use.

a few months ago i painted my bedroom this elaborate pinkish orange color and its beautiful but its sooo vibrant. not to sound gothic, but im not a VIBRANT kinda girl. i love the color but.. i need to off-set it a little with a darker color bedding or curtains.. any suggestions? (link)

You could take a shade of dark purple or a color that goes along with it and sponge it over the vibrant color so it shows through really pretty as a backgroud for a not-so-vibrant color.
Not to sound gothic, but you could paint some shelves in your room a black color which would darken the feel of it.
I would basically sponge over it with another color, but bedding or sheets works wonderfully too. Just make sure to make sure that the color you choose to use for the sponge paint/bedding/whatever doesn't clash in the jar OR on the walls before you buy/paint anything.

I don't know how to raise it, but here's a trick to keep it going: eat.
Eating low-calorie snacks like carrots, celery or other vegetables keeps your metabolism going and burning calories. Because it's constantly going, you lose weight faster, which is what I assume your goal was.
There are also metabolism shots you can take if there is a serious problem, but if there isn't that's the best trick in my book.

If you want to lose weight fast and be healthy about it, I strongly recommend the Weight Watchers Program. It's not a diet--it will help you change your lifestyle so you'll lose weight and keep it off.
I joined a few weeks ago with a few of my friends and it's worked out great. I don't feel like I'm on a diet, just that I'm more aware of what I eat and how much.
If you don't want to go on the program (it's 15 dollars to join then 12 per meeting) then some generic tips for weight loss are:
+ Eat celery and carrots as munchies. They're very low in calories and actually help you lose weight. They also keep your metabolism going so you're constantly burning calories.
+ Drink water. Lots of it. Constantly. It fills you up and helps something or other. I'm not sure. But if you drink water all the time, you'll be less hungry and therefore prone to eat less.
+ Don't go on "crash diets" like drinking juice only or not eating. This causes your metabolism to shut down and what you do eat to be stored as fat.
+ Try walking for an hour each day with a friend or just listening to music. It gives you time to think and relax and burns calories.
+ Swimming is good. It tones your body and you get in shape.
+ Counting every calorie makes you feel deprived. Try just being more aware of what you eat and how much of it.

I need more than one sentence answers. If you give detailed advice on this and reasons why you chose the groups/musicians you will get a 5 out of me. I am generous but expect when I ask advice, as I give detailed ones to you usually as GDROB to get the same back.
I am producing a new radio show with movie reviews, games, trivia, etc. for teens we have chat and forums too, special guests. My biggest problem is choosing music for in between the segments. I wanted some suggestions on acts or solo performers you guys are into. I am trying to develop a playlist really and need guidance.
Also, please understand the music has to be good but squeaky clean. The rules state I cannot have swearing, violence against women, right-winged ideas etc. on the show or I am in trouble. If there are poets, spoken word or actual artists among you send me a note.

I really like Butch Walker. Google for him and you'll find a lot of stuff. He writes music for people like Avril ect but is a decent solo writer.
What a lot of teens are listening to can be found on the One Tree Hill/the OC soundtracks. They have some amazing emerging artists and you couldn't go wrong.

I MURDERED my braces when I had them. What I always did, and I wrecked basically everything, was have my mom call in and tell them what happened. If it was an emergency, they'd have me come in but for the most part I'd just wait until my next appointment.

Research the theory. I learned about it a while ago, but I'm not quite sure so I'll outline the format for an essay.
P1: Introduction that has basically nothing to do with the topic and narrows down to introduce the topic. The last sentence here should be the thesis, or essentially the statement that your entire essay tries to prove.
P2: Write about the history of the Atomic theory and exactly where Dalton's theory fits in to this.
P3: Write about exactly what Dalton's theory states and go into detail about the concepts he introduced to the scientific community.
P4: Write about what parts of Dalton's theory were rejected based on later study and the parts of the theory that have still been proven factual and are still accepted.
P5: Conclude by restating your thesis statement in DIFFERENT WORDS. Make this more broad, fixing everything.

Because you're not styling it tonight, the best thing to do would be to leave it down and leave it be until you style it. It won't make much of a difference, but the less you do with your hair (blow drying, putting it up ect) the more healthy it will be.

Yep. Completely normal. Most people do. Guys do and so do girls. If it bothers you, you can take a razor and a mirror and CAREFULLY shave it off. You'll have to constantly do that, though, as it will itch as it grows back.
