Depending on your hair type, hair wax is incredibly effective, even if you blow dry, and it does not damage your hair.
Also, you can always buy a hair straightener, but a good one, not one you buy from the pharmacy.
Advicelady6798 answered Tuesday October 18 2005, 2:52 pm: You should buy some shampoo that gets the frizz out. try going in a Master Cuts store and ask them to find you the best product for your hair. Maybe you should get a straighter and straighten your hair and then curling it. heat takes the frizz out. At least it does for mine. Mine is really frizzy but when i straighten it, it takes the frizz out. [ Advicelady6798's advice column | Ask Advicelady6798 A Question ]

One thing is the Frizz Ease shampoo & although I've never tried it, I'm sure it works great. I have used the Frizz Ease hair serum before though & it did wonders on my hair. So try them out! ♥ [ xopinkbarbie's advice column | Ask xopinkbarbie A Question ]

powertrash answered Monday October 17 2005, 11:36 pm: My hair is semi-frizzy also and the best thing I've ever done was buy a CHI hair straightener. I wash it normally, let it air dry (blow drying takes the moisture out) and then straighten it. It takes 5-10 minutes and it makes my hair look that much better. They're pretty expensive, but they last the longest and work the best. It's not worth wasting your money on a cheaper brand of straighener because most cheap ones will take forever to use.
