Eating low-calorie snacks like carrots, celery or other vegetables keeps your metabolism going and burning calories. Because it's constantly going, you lose weight faster, which is what I assume your goal was.
buzzie answered Monday October 17 2005, 7:50 pm: Well there are several things you could do to accomplish this.
The first is your diet. Make sure that you include plenty of grain products, vegies, and fruit in your diet. These foods provide vitamins, minerals, and fibre. Also limit sugars and choose a diet low in fat.
Don't drink alchohol, and get plenty of excercise.
And the most important thing is to drink lots of water, and lots of sleep.
This should boost your metabolism in no time. [ buzzie's advice column | Ask buzzie A Question ]
