Nothing at all? You could ask him how his day was, tell im about yours...I dunno. If you have nothing to talk about they mabye you shoulden't be going out.

talk about anything and everything. and if that fails ask him something like his favorite childhood memory, it'll show you're really interested in him too.

Me and my boyfriend have that problem to and i don't know if it's cause we talked about everything already or what. The things we talked about were what we thought of each other when we first hooked up, his past, my past meaning girlfriends/boyfriends. ask him all kinds of questions like -what's the crazies thing he's ever done - if he were to die in the next week what would he do? who would he go and see? - just a bunch of stupid what if questions it kinda sounds stupid but you would be suprised on how interesting the conversation can get.

Well if you're dating him then you should have at least ONE thing in common. If you have absolutely nothing, talk about stuff that went on in your day, jokes you've heard, movies, sports, just anything. And hopefully that will lead to another conversation. Good luck!

You can talk about eachothers intersts..You dont always have to talk about a specific topic either..You can talk about anything..You can even be goofy with him and just try and make him laugh.Dont worry about anything you say that might sound funny or a lil dumb.

ask your boyfriend what kind of music he likes and then tell him what you like, you might find out you like the same kind. Also ask him about what kind of movies he would like to watch and then go to the video store with him.
Tell him a joke and get him to tell you one.
There are a million things the two of you could talk about.
Maybe he is shy, if thats the case do something romantic like make him a candlelit dinner, or go to the beach at sunset and walk hand in hand.
I had a boyfriend who was really shy, I found a great ice breaker was to play a game of cards or a board game.
Find out if he likes hockey and then start watching the games with him. Guys are SO impressed with girls who show an interest in sports. Learn the names of some of his favorite hockey , or basketball, or whatever sport it is he likes.
You'll get him talking in no time with the sports tactic, take it from someone whose been there!!

Well you tow having nothing to talk about to begin with isint a good sign. But you two should try to establish things you like music, movies, things at work/school friends. I always find comic antidote to be a great ice breaker tell a funny story, crack a joke. Also try to get to know each others personal lives more ask him about life, his home life...I mean after you crack the ice itll roll right by but breaking the ice is the hardest part.

Find something you have in common, like an intrest in a book or movie genre. Talk about a TV show or what's up in the world or your life.
If you can't find something in common or have trouble holding a conversation, maybe you shouldn't be going out. It's hard to be with someone you can't talk to.
