Does the book...A Midsummer Night's Dream have a hero's journey to it? You know... The call, the threshold, the threshold guardians..? Because I'm not sure what's going on in the book because my vocabulary sucks..

Virtually EVERYTHING has a hero's journey too it. Every single story has a hero's journey.
I haven't read A Midsummer Night's Dream in forever, so I don't quite remember what it was about. But I'm pretty sure there are at least two hero's journeys. One for the guy who gets turned into a donkey and one for the chick that's in love with that guy.
Sorry I can't be more helpful, but there is a hero's journey.
Check out Spark Notes (www.thespark.com) if you want a summary of the plot. Shakespeare is easier to read if you know what it's about.
