You know me better than anyone else, I'm never sad when you're around, my life has been great ever since you came along, you always put me first, nothing is ever too much trouble, your kisses give me shivers, i love it when you call/text/email (hey that could be three!!), i love cuddling up to you on the sofa, you come watch chick flicks with me, you listen to me even when im being annoying, my family loves you. Hi. Lately i've seen people THAT i personally became fond of on here (as friends) that quit the site. I know that they have been busy. But i'm just scared that no one will become coloumists and eventually quit this site! I really like this site and i can't help but feel soo..bad, if this site just goes down. Hiya I know what a stone is unlike everyone else so yay for that! Seriously though if you want to lose weight heres some tips:
1. Cut down on carbohydrates such as bread and pasta and you will def see a difference.
2.Only eat three meals a day- if you need anything in between eat fruit
3. Cut out fizzy drinks and drink water instead
4. Always always eat breakfast
5. Stop eating dessert if you do so at the moment
6. Try to cut down slightly on portion sizes
7. Try to walk for 30 mins a day
I managed to lose a stone in 2 months doing this and i feel so much happier. Feel free to send messages to my inbox as i know what you're going through!! Good luck and stick at it you'll feel like a new person!

Okay well I had this boyfriend and we were only going out for two weeks and then he called me and said that we cant go out anymore. I wasnt that dissapointed because we hadnt been going out for too long. But then my best guy friend sent me their conversation and the kid that dumped me was really mad he did. He only did it because someone told him it would be weird to go out with me. He just asked me out again and I know that he will dump me again because that is what he did last year too. Do you want to be with him? You don't seem that fussed but it's hard to tell from text! If you're not that bothered it's probably best to leave it especially as he has messed you around before and he listened to someone else rather than himself when it came to ending the relationship. However if you're into him you need to weigh it all up: You either 1) get back with him and risk exactly the same thing happening again or 2)cut your losses and find someone who treats you properly and doesn't mess you around. To be honest from what you've said you're not that bothered about the relationship ending and also he's mucked you around before so whats the point? If you know he's going to dump you again don't let yourself get hurt- find someone who treats you in the way you deserve to be treated!! Good luck

My friend is 14/f and she wants big boobs. She's not going to get plastic surgery(thats for sure) and i keep telling her everyone goes at their own pace. She doesnt even fit into an A cup. DOes anyone know how to make their boobs bigger with out surgery and stuff?I know this may be embarrasing so dont be a smart and tease. I rate 5's for any good answers tho! (link)

Ignore what's been said about eating different things and not getting enough nutrients- it's rubbish! Unfortunately the size of boobs are all down to genetics and weight. The only way it can be changed is through surgery or perhaps as a side effect from taking the contraceptive pill/ Generally, the bigger the rest of the girl the bigger the boobs and vica versa so i suppose she could try putting on weight. However, no one is ever happy with the way they look- they always want to change something or other! I'll bet even though she's jealous of girls with big boobs, other girls are jealous of her for being slim or having fantastic legs or something. Try telling her this. It's all about boosting her self confidence. 14 is a tough age because girls are always comparing themselves to other girls and thinking they don't look as good. This is a phase that pretty much everyone goes through about being insecure about themselves. Support her through it and focus on her fantastic qualities rather than the things she doesn't like about herself! I know that didn't answer your question exactly but unfortunately there's no magical medicine!!

When you first get it it will be so light that it won't show up or soak through your clothes or any of the other things girls are always worried about! It might me a good idea to keep a pad in your bag just in case so that when you notice when you go to the toilet you'll be prepared. Don't be scared your friends will find out they're all probably worried about exactly the same stuff! You'll look back on this and laugh once you've got it! Good luck

I'm 16/f.
Well I'm not anorexic or anything but once in a while I get these weeks where I'm not hungry at all and almost anything I look at makes me gag. All my friends are worried though they know that I go through this like five times a year. I usually eat a lot but during these times I only find an appetite for fruit usually. My friends are telling me to tell my counselor at school but I don't want to tell more people about this because I really don't want anyone else to bug me about it. I just think this is a phase or cycle that just comes and goes but I need more opinions. Please tell me what you think. (link)

It doens't sound entirely normal to me (i'm doing a psychology degree and i've done courses in eating patterns). Have you thought about talking to a female relative and see what they think? Quite often this can be really helpful and they might be able to tell you whether you need to see a doctor or not just for a quick check. It's not normal to suddenly go from loving food to hating it. OK, this is going to sound rather strange, but please bear with me. I ,a woman in her early twenties have been in an on/off relationship with a man in his late forties for a few months now. I sometimes love him to bits, and sometimes am rather wary of him. The relationship is in any case going nowhere because he is still in love with his ex girlfriend, who lives back in the US(I am British, he is American but we both live in Britain).
Anyway, I had given us up as a bad job, and wrote as such to my journal on Thursday evening. The next morning, i switched my phone on only to find he had left me a message, and must have called at THE EXACT TIME that I was writing my journal.(my phone was off on Thurs evening). My question-does anyone believe that , just possibly there is an explanation beyond sheer coincidence?(ie some kind of spiritual link?) sounds nuts I know, but still.....?lol

Sounds to me like a coincidence! Sure it's great to think that you have some sort of connection of sorts and you could probably have a giggle about it but at the end of the day it's just one of those really weird things in my opinion! However I am a sceptic and at the end of the day if it keeps you happy to think that then why not? There's no concrete evidence to say that things like that are totally impossible!!

It sounds to me as if you may be being a little too full on. You've told her several times you want to be with her and she keeps giving you the same response? It might be best to leave it for a while as it doesn't sound as if you're really getting anywhere. You don't want to make a fool of yourself. Maybe you should lay off for a while and give her some space- the old playing hard to get thing works a lot better than people think! See how it goes! Good luck

Okay, I know this might seem weird, but it makes sense to me.
Everyone in my family is doing extremely well with their financial needs. We all live pretty comfortably. But, every family has suffered to get where they are.
And I mean EVERY single family.
My aunt from my mom's side, and her family started getting rich about 15 years ago. Once they started racking in all the money, she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. She might not live for another year.
My Uncle from my mom's side always owned his own auto repair business and has always been making an above average salary. But, a few months ago he decided to open another shop across town, since his original one was doing so good. Well, for the past 6 months he's been in the hospital getting treatment for his blood cancer.
On my dad's side, my uncle also opened his own business and has been making good money. His wife and him now can't have any more children. The past 4 times she's been pregnant, she's had a miscarriage.
The list certainly goes on.
It seems that every time something happens to someone in my family, it's after they start making more money.
Well, my dad owns a law firm and he just closed a 15 million dollar case. We were all excited until a few days ago when he ended up in the hospital. My dad never gets sick and hasn't been to the doctor in over 20 years. But about a week after the closed his case, it started. We first thought it was the flu so we didn't worry. But one night he woke up with a sharp pain in his side (or stomach I'm not sure) and we had to rush him to the hospital. They told us if we waited even 30 more mins. he would have been dead. His gallbladder would have exploded.
Now I don't know what to believe because it all seems so crazy. But it makes sense. It's gotten me so scared that I don't want to make much money when I get older. I know it sounds weird but what do you guys think of this?

It's pure coincidence stranger things have happened believe me! It's terrible that all these awful things have happened but unfortunately (not to sound harsh) that's life, crap as it can be. This all has nothing to do with how well you're family are doing financially. It's all a big coincidence. Hope evrything works out

It's probably because she finds it easier to say it over the phone than face to face! Shes building up her confidence so that eventually she'll be able to behave like that to your face! Be patient and eventually that'll happen i bet! You could always turn it into a little joke next time she starts talking like that and say something like "you're totally different on the phone- you'd never act this way in person- i really like these 2 sides of you!" and then laugh! See what she says back ;)

OMG I just had the worst night ever at my job. Well I work in a large superstore in the clothing department. This lady wanted someone in the toy section to help her take down a game on the top shelf. I told her I'd help find someone from that department to assist her. Well I couldnt find anyone and then she started to get really mad at me. I was under a lot of pressure so I phoned the manager of the store. He said that no one showed up for work in the toy department that night, so no one could help her. Then I told him how mad she was and then he got mad at me and said "what what does she expect us to do??" and then I tried to calm him down and then he said he would send someone to help her. Well finally someone came down to help her but I'm really worried that I'll be in trouble for what I did. I didn't know what else to do, so I felt phoning the manager was the only option I have. Also, I have to be at work tomorrow and I'm terrified the store manager is going to complain about me to my supervisor. Does anyone have any advice? And do you think I'm in a lot of trouble? (link)

I honestly honestly don't think you have anything at all to worry about! When there is a problem at work which you can't deal with you need to find somebody with more authority than you to sort it out! So you phoned the manager. That's the whole point of a manager- to overlook the running of the store. There was a customer who needed assistance- and he is ultimately in charge of that! Without customers he wouldn't have a job. The only reason he got mad at you was because he didn't know what to do and he was cross that no one showed up from the toy department so he took it out on you. The manager will not complain as as you say you had no choice and it is his job as manager to overlook the running of the store and to sort out problems. Anyway the manager must have thought you were right in ringing him as he sent someone down to help you!! If you do get a complaint against you (which i very much doubt) you need to say that you felt you had no other option but to ring the manager, and you had to do it because otherwise the customer would not have been given good service and you try and make sure that all customers are served properly because that is your job. But seriously don't worry about it- you'll get there tomorrow and wonder what you were worried about i promise!!! Good luck

It is possible that you have a urinary tract infection which isn't serious at all but you need to go and see your doctor. You'll probably be given medication that will clear it up right away! Good luck

ok i had an abortion about 2 months ago.im back on bitrh control, my last period blood was red for like 1-2days then its was brown. ive been to the gyn to be treated for chilmidya and some other bacteria, the doc gave me meds, so that should be good right, now its about 1 week before my next period, im still taking my birth control and ive had brown spotting yesterday and today. what is wrong with me??? i need help. It could quite easily be your body adjusting after the abortion or adjusting to going back on your birth control or something else entirely normal. However you should probably go and get it checked out by your doctor just to be on the safe side and above all, to put your own mind at rest. Good luck

It's not about how many months you "should" wait or even what anyone else thinks. It's between you two and only you two, therefore it's up to you. However, if you're thinking that you're not sure when you should have it it probably means you're not ready yet. It's the old story- if you have ANY doubts you're not ready. You'll know you're ready when you have no doubts and you can see the relationship that you're in lasting. And please make sure you're aware of the consequences! Good luck

Yeah it's totally normal- periods are strange things!! Are you stressed at all? Or have you been ill recently? These could be reasons or it could just be a random annoying change! It could suddenly go back to what it was before or it may continue to be 6 days. If you are worried go to your doctors to put your mind at rest.

so tonight i was at a big party type thing..and i notice this guy kind of looking at me from the corner of his eye and purposely turning it seemed to look at me. i picked it up that he was doing it..but i thought nothing of it until later..he started doing "laps" around me when i was talkng to my friends. he went from one part of the room where everyone was all the way to where i was with my friends *it wasnt nearly as crowded..* he did this a couple times! my friends thinks he likes me..when they told him to talk to me he said he was shy. where do i go from here? we dont really talk so help me out from the beginning pleaseee!! this is just new for me because usually the guy likes one of my friends..i happen to have very pretty friends..ok thanks to anyone who tries :) (link)

Why not smile back? This will encourage him! Then maybe move towards him a little bit to show you're interested. He should get the hints- as he would be looking for any signs from you as he's shown he's interested. Maybe then he'll start talking to you. If he doesn't cos he really is as shy as he says why not go and talk to him and introduce yourself? You're not going to make a fool of yourself cos you know he's interested so you won't get knocked back! Then perhaps you both can strike up a conversation and see where it goes- it's really that simple!! Good luck

It depends on what sort of guy he is. What do you think he will do for you? If you're not sure then here's what i'd do- i think a card is going a bit far- that should normally be saved for year anniversaries. How about giving him his favourite chocolate bar? Or a cd or game you know he wants? Just a little gesture!!
