aniversary
I'm 16, and my boyfriend who is 18 will have been going out for 2 months next Friday. I was wondering.. should I get him a card? Or buy him a present? Or should I just not do anything..just simply wish him happy anniversary? What do people usually do for their 2 month anivarserys?

People don't really do anything for 2 month anniversarys because it's not really that big of a deal. If you want, just hang out with him. You should only buy him cards or stuff for 6 months & 1 year. =] That's more acceptable for presents.

Well, you're supossed to celebrate 2 weeks and then every month you are together. I would get him a present but I wouldn't go too drastic. Like don't go out and buy him this expensive gift when he just might get you a little teddy bear. Although, I do think that gifts from the heart are the best gifts you can get or somone.

two months isnt really a major anniversary. just stick to something simple like, happy 2 months sweetie or possibly a card. dont do something too extravagant, cause it might make your boyfriend feel like he must get you something very nice.

2 months isn't really an anniversary that people usually celebrate, to tell you the truth. At least that's been my experience. Cards and presents might be overdoing it just a bit.. but I think that maybe a dinner date at a nice restaraunt would be a fun idea. (I'm not talking like a 5-Star restaraunt.. I mean something affordable like Applebees or Ruby Tuesday)

Most people don`t really do a big thing ove 2 months cuz that isn`t a very steady relationship maybe to some people it is cuz its not two weeks or two days but that isn`t very steady like i said.. I`d just simply wish him happy anniversary.. I`d probably do something on your 6 month anniversary.. but for sure on your one year.. ♥ Dez

What i think you should do is maybe get him a card because my boyfriend and i have been going out for 2months also and i got him a card because i knew he would get me something, so i think you should get him a card because i gave my bf one and he really apreciated it! and i am only 14 and he is 15 so ijust got him a card and he really liked it... he gave me a beautiful crystal necklace so i think he reallly appreciated the card!! loves... write back

Why don't you guys just go out to a nice dinner or do something special together that day, because before you know it, it will be 3 months, 4 months, 5 months and a card or a gift for each month kind of takes away from the special-ness of celebrating birthdays and things like that.

It depends on what sort of guy he is. What do you think he will do for you? If you're not sure then here's what i'd do- i think a card is going a bit far- that should normally be saved for year anniversaries. How about giving him his favourite chocolate bar? Or a cd or game you know he wants? Just a little gesture!!

The two month isn't really special. I mean, go ahead and do something, but a nice present isn't really worth it.

Mm... it depends on the person you are i guess. Some people make a big deal of 'month' anniversaries, other people prefer to make a big deal out of the 'year' anniversaries. I would probably make a big deal of the two months though. You can just bake him something [cookies or something] and give it to him, along with telling him "happy 2 months anniversary", but dont be too expensive or anything. It's only two months, you guys have a while to go for a long term relationship. Start with something easy, a card can work plus maybe a stuff animal? If your boyfriend is into that type of thing anyway... or a CD. :)
