well my friend started doing my eye brows for me and she shaved them the top and bottom instead of plucking so now i have to do that everytime they need to be plucked/shaved but now i have really bad breakouts above my eyebrows does anyone know what to do??

aaah! oh no.. that is the worst possibe thing you can ever do to your poor eyebrows!! never let her near your face again! the "breakouts" you are experiencing are probably ingrown hairs.you need to exfoliate the area with a facial scrub and put sacylic acid on the area also ( you can find that ingredient in acne spot gel) always tweeze or get your eyebrows waxed (dont do that yourself).

When I am embarrased or telling a slight fib, (or maybe a bigger fib hehe) I blush! My face turns all red! For example, if someone says "Do you like Josh" and I say "no" (When really I mean yes) I blush, and you can tell I'm lying because I blush! Or when I embarrass myself, like say I fall, but try to make it seem like it didn't bothe me. You can always tell it bothers me b/c I blush! Blushing is soooo embarrasing!! Any tips on how to stop the blushing? (Or is it not possible?)

heres a tip.. dont lie. blushing is natural. im assuming you are fair skinned ( i am too) and in fair skinned people you can obviously see the blood rushing to your face. its natural and there is no way to stop it. my cheeks and ears turn bright red all the time. ( and dont try to camoflague it with makeup because thats kind of WAAAYYY too much to do)

gay guys are more well groomed and more in touch with their feminine side. its not abnormal. it kind of sucks though, dont it? ;) you are definently straight, but are probably looking for a more sensitive kind of guy.

Okay my little brother is sooo picky when it comes to eating. he doesnt eat meat what so ever. he lives off of chips and captain cruch cerial! Oh and I cant forget about candy! My point being is he eats all this junk and hes not chubby for his age and height. I know hes only 7 years old but still how can u NOT be chubby and eat junk food everyday. Its not like he runs around cuz hes always in the house playing video games haha. Here I am busting my butt off trying to lose weight because im 16 yrs old weigh 115 lbs and im 5'4". How is this? Should I be a vegitarrian like him?

he isnt chubby NOW. if he keeps that diet up, when his metabolism slows down after puberty he will be. his diet is very unhealthy. but vegetarianism isnt bad idea, as long as you get enough protein in your diet. oh and why are you trying to lose weight?

SODAS! I took up Mountain Dew and I put on alot of weight drinking it and I tried to stop it but its like going threw withdrawl. I get headaches and everything, I throw up and my stomach hurts and this always happens when I stop drinking it. I'm starting school soon and mountain dew wont be available as it will if I were home. What can I do?

wow... mountain dew withdrawals. maybe you should enroll in rehab for the m.d. lol that pop is especially bad for you: it rots your teeth faster than any other pop, and it eats your stomach and esophagus lining away. and.. you gained weight! that should be an incentive to stop drinking it to lose weight. drink water instead.. its so much better!

oh definently give it some time. its far too soon, especially if its your best friend! but maybe you could slyly make it known to her that you are interested in her.

My 15 year old friend engages often in un-protected sex. No matter how much I tell her to wear a condom, or my god, at least go on birth control, she continues to give herself to random guys, especially under the influence. Recently, she slept over my house and woke up with severe morning sickness. She also became constipated, and complains now constantly about her stomach hurting. She hasn't gotten her period yet either. I called planned parenthood for her and it did nothing. I can't think of anything else it could be but pregnancy, and they want to schedule an appointment, which would mean she would have to tell her mom, which, stubborn as she is, would be a struggle at best. She's my best friend, and I cannot see her do nothing about this situation...any advice?

she doesn't have to tell her mom. go to a free clinic and make an appointment to see a doctor. she can also get cheap birth control there.

ok, well i cut. and i dont want to hear the "oh dont do that! blah blah blah" im really trying to stop and i dont need anyone to be pressuring me right now. but anyways..i usually cut on my shoulders so no one can see and so that i dont kill myself. but the other day i cut my wrist. and i mean, i wanted to, but i didnt want it to bleed...and i didnt even push hard. i just ran it slightly across the skin. and it just started bleeding. im fine and everything, but is that normal? like is the skin just really delicate there or something?

if you have more feelings for mike, then you should be with him. you have to follow your heart, especially if kevin is doing things you dont like. and, yeah, i know being "hot" is a plus, but someone thats nice is way better in the long run. i think you should let some "lucky" girl get cheated on instead of you and go for mike.

Ok, I gained a lot of weight all at once. Now I have stretch marks on my stomach. If I lose weight will they go away? Will they go away when I'm older? They are really bad but only on one spot on my tummy. Is there anything to help them? This really makes me unhappy. I saw them and cried for a really long time and it makes me unhappy with myself. sorry hun, i dont think they will just "go away". i have them on my boobs and they just faded to a light color ( barely noticable, but im still overly critical :-/) i think there are some creams you can put on them to fade them or there is probably some surgical procedure to lighten or get rid of them.

Heya there. Okay, well, I just lost my virginity, yesterday (I'm the one with the problem below called birth control) and now that I know for sure that there is a risk of be getting pregnant, I want to know what kind of test I should get. I'm 16, and I should know this because so many of my friends have gone through it, and I know I have to wait a couple of weeks, but I was wondering, what is the best brand of pregnancy tests and how much do they usually cost?

go see a doctor. drugstore bought pregnancy tests aren't as correct always as they claim to be. im not sure how much it costs, but i know if you find a place ( like a free clinic.. in illinois they have aunt martha's) they dont need parent authorization and its pretty cheap.

Some times my pubic hairs kinda hurt when i pull them, so i yank them out and they have this sort weird sticky white thing on the end. after i pull them out it doesnt hurt there any more. this happens every once in a while and i yank em because if i dont it hurts to touch there. anyone know waht these are? i call them evil hairs.

um... i think it hurts because you are yanking them out. i think the white thing you speak of is a hair root that is premature (as in not grown in yet) im not sure why this hurts you.

How can I keep my eyeshadow on all day? It's powder eyeshadow that I love but it always fades away during the day. I don't want to keep reapplying it. Any tips so my eyeshadow stays on longer?

how do i prevent the red razor bumps on my bikini line from coming when i shave? and how do i get a very close shave to where you cant even tell there is hair there? i want it all gone but everytime i shave it just turns red and gets razor burn.

you should wax instead. thats the only way to get all the hair out and keep it smooth for a while. it hurts and sometimes its kinda expensive, but its a hell of a lot better then shaving and razor burn. but if you still want to keep shaving, theres a cream you can get at drugstores called bikini zone that minimizes razor burn.
