Pregnancy test
Heya there. Okay, well, I just lost my virginity, yesterday (I'm the one with the problem below called birth control) and now that I know for sure that there is a risk of be getting pregnant, I want to know what kind of test I should get. I'm 16, and I should know this because so many of my friends have gone through it, and I know I have to wait a couple of weeks, but I was wondering, what is the best brand of pregnancy tests and how much do they usually cost?

the best brand of pregnancy test is the patented wait-till-your-next-period test. it's free, you don't have to worry about your mother finding it, and if you have to wait a few weeks anyway, what's the point.
also, what kind of birth control are you on? i've been on the patch for over two years, and never any problems, despite refusing to use condoms. holy 'ell, that rhymed.

i honestly dont know the prices and everything but i went to the hospital to get one early inthe morning (you should do it in the morning cuz thats when your pregnancy hormones are most fertile) and i just peed in a cup and they took it to a lab and did it i wish i could have helped more!

Just get an EPT or something. They're not always 1OO% accurate, though, so if it says you're not pregnant, and you're still having symptoms or vice-versa, I'd see a doctor.

Well you can really buy any brand! But keep in mind no matter what you buy its never 100% accurate so you may want to test again later.(My friends have always used EPT and the results are fast and easy to read) Also, its too early to know! You have to wait until your period is at least a week late! Pregnancy test usually cost anywhere between like $2.00-$9.00! It just depends on the brand. go see a doctor. drugstore bought pregnancy tests aren't as correct always as they claim to be. im not sure how much it costs, but i know if you find a place ( like a free clinic.. in illinois they have aunt martha's) they dont need parent authorization and its pretty cheap.

The Error Proof Test (EPT) is the best pregnancy test that is sold in stores. I don't know how much it costs because I've never taken one but most pregnancy tests cost around $20 I think. Hope I helped a little bit :)
