Ok, I gained a lot of weight all at once. Now I have stretch marks on my stomach. If I lose weight will they go away? Will they go away when I'm older? They are really bad but only on one spot on my tummy. Is there anything to help them? This really makes me unhappy. I saw them and cried for a really long time and it makes me unhappy with myself. Please help!

well why did you gain alot of weight?
cuz sum of that oculd be cuz u have ADHD. or you could be diebetic. n stuff. soo dont jump to conclusion. it could just all go away.
rainbowcherrie answered Friday August 20 2004, 3:18 pm: Stretch marks are a normal part of your development and everyone gets them at some point. They probably wont ever go away totally but they will fade so that you can hardly see them, don't fret, smile, be happy! :) <3333 [ rainbowcherrie's advice column | Ask rainbowcherrie A Question ]
Karen answered Friday August 20 2004, 3:07 pm: Yep, your stretch marks will fade when you are growing and getting older. Don't worry, a lot of girls have them and I don't think you can remove them. Maybe you can try a scar remover like Mederma? Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
FallenAngel answered Friday August 20 2004, 2:59 pm: Hey hun! One thing that will really help is scar medicine called Mederma. You can get it at CVS. I had my appendix out over a year ago and i got mederma and now the scar is basically gone. Good luck hun! And cheer up!!! :)

blackmamba answered Friday August 20 2004, 2:55 pm: sorry hun, i dont think they will just "go away". i have them on my boobs and they just faded to a light color ( barely noticable, but im still overly critical :-/) i think there are some creams you can put on them to fade them or there is probably some surgical procedure to lighten or get rid of them.
