Hey everyone.
I'm sorry to announce that i wont be coming back to this site to answer questions anymore. It has caused one two many problems for me ever since my aqqantice got a column, herself. I apologize to everyone. This is not your fault, but i dont want to deal with problems again. My own problems i mean. So, I'm sorry and i will miss you all.

My 15 year old friend engages often in un-protected sex. No matter how much I tell her to wear a condom, or my god, at least go on birth control, she continues to give herself to random guys, especially under the influence. Recently, she slept over my house and woke up with severe morning sickness. She also became constipated, and complains now constantly about her stomach hurting. She hasn't gotten her period yet either. I called planned parenthood for her and it did nothing. I can't think of anything else it could be but pregnancy, and they want to schedule an appointment, which would mean she would have to tell her mom, which, stubborn as she is, would be a struggle at best. She's my best friend, and I cannot see her do nothing about this situation...any advice?

You are being such a great friend. Your friend may have to tell her mom, if the morning sickness and constipation continues. Explain to your friend how serious this is. Explain to her that she may have to raise a child, alone and tell her to stop having un-protected sex. She's taking a HUGE risk of getting an STD or AIDS. i think i might have something wrong with my lungs. i get out of breath WAY too easy. i don't think i have athsma, cuz i've never had an attack, and i don't smoke, but my parents do. i'm getting bad grades in p.e. because i can't run. i COULD run...if i could breathe, because it doesn't tire my legs at all...but anyway, how can i tell if there's something wrong with me, or what do i do?

You may be having a problem with secondhand smoke. Talk to your parents about it. If they smoke in the house, ask them not to, because you feel that its destroying your lungs. Ask them to smoke outside or not near you. Hope i helped!

I don't know if thats really weird, but it must be really awkward for you. I guess its kinda weird. If you don't like it maybe you should talk to your friend. Have a girls night and just talk about random stuff. Then bring up her boyfriend. Good luck to you!

Well. I'm 14 and I have been madly in love with my neighbor ever since I moved here when I was 9. We write each other e-mails and we sometimes talk on the bus and stuff. He's 18 and he's going to be a senior this year and I'm going to be freshmen, many people that are freshmen date seniors so I don't think its the age. My mom said that he's probably just waiting until I'm older cuz I'm young but I dunno. He knows I like him because my friend would always yell out the window to him that i was in love with him. He asked me last year if he wanted to get a ride to school with him everyday this year, and I said yes. I really like him alot. Should I tell him? Or should I get a friend to ask him stuff?! I dunno what to do. PLease help!! I rate!!

Why don't you take things slowly. Good realationships always start out with a good friendship. When he drives you to school, say stuff like "So, what have you been up to? What are you going to do this weekend?" Stuff like that. If he says nothing, say, me neither. Why don't we do something? Hope i helped and Good luck!

Before you talk to them, show them how mature you really are by helping around the house and not whining or anything like that. Then tell your parents, that you think they are being overprotective and you would like to make a few changes. Then if they agree you can also say something about your boyfriend. Hope I helped!!!

That is really rude of your friends to not listen when you try to explain. I would just say, "Fine, if you're not gonna listen, you're just gonna have to deal with a NEW me". I live in one too! I like to invite friends over a lot and rent movies. You can also find some new hobbies. I started making pillows. I also do Stamping and Scrapbooking now. You can also go online a lot. I know I do! Hope I helped!

Well, I'm new here...actually, I only signed up so that I could ask you this question. I am a singer and I need to know if you know how to make your voice stronger and sound better on high notes because all my high notes start cracking up. Thank you!

Practice Practice PRACTICE! I take voice lessons and it really has improved my voice. Talk to your parents about possibly taking lessons. Good luck and I hope i helped!

also, you should do breathing excercizes, because breathing gives you support when you sing, and without support it's hard to hit good notes. do things like breathe in for 2 beats, hold for four, and hiss it out for 4-8. practice holding your breath, go swimming, don't ever smoke. also, warm up before you try to hit the high notes. lastly, the most important thing is not to try to sound like britney spears. if your throat is sore when you finish singing, it means you are hurting your voice, and your voice can be permanantly scarred (it's called getting a node: it happened to christina aguilera). so don't use your throat to sing... use breathing.

My family took a vacation to Hawaii and it was her welcome home party on the island of Oahu and i really really wanted to go so we went and i saw her wave at me and stick her head out of the car window. lol. If you are not ready to have sex and your boyfriend is not respecting that, he is NOT worth it. It sounds to me like he thinks he'll get what he wants and then break up with you. Its a possiblity that you are pregnant. If you don't want to tell your mom, there must be a center somewhere in your town for pregnant teens. Go there, and just get some informations on the first signs of pregnancy. Good luck!
