SweetiePie777 answered Thursday August 19 2004, 2:50 pm: Hmmm. Thats a toughie. You can have a lemonade stand! Just kidding! If it's really really hot where you live, go to the store and buy ice cream kinds of stuff. You know, like Fudge bars and stuff and sell those. You can also do yard work or ask you parents for extra money if you did extra work for them. Tell me how it goes!

barthez4 answered Tuesday August 17 2004, 3:32 pm: well you can obviously get a job but if you're not old enough you can do stuff like mow lawns, rake yards, sell stuff to stores (obviously stuff that you never use, like...old video games, toys....), or maybe a garage sale.
one hint of advice is to ask friends if they have any guitars or instruments that they are willing to sell. i got my first bass for 50 dollars from a friend, and the amp for 45 from another friend.
HugsNdKissesCutie answered Sunday August 15 2004, 12:57 pm: Well it's great that you've started a band. Congrads! First you can (since its summer) have a car was. you should charge $7-10 a car. Another idea is gathering up change lying around the house and bring it to a coinstar. Another is gathering up a bunch of thing you don't use anymore(baby toys, old dvds u don't watch ne more, old cds, ect.) and go door to door with your old stuff in a wagon of sumthing(lol) and see if they can use any of it(but b4 u go door2door, try to fix up the toys which will make them worth more) make the items a reasonable price.I hope that I helped and good luck! Mercy_x_Me answered Saturday August 14 2004, 4:31 pm: If you guys dont know how to play anything yet your band hasnt really started, learning enough to have a band might take some time. But anyway rather than raising so much money, look on ebay.com for some really cheap guitars that are in nice condition, hey you might wind up with a guitar for only 10$$ haha. No joke. So check it out! good luck with the band [ Mercy_x_Me's advice column | Ask Mercy_x_Me A Question ]
sportscutie13 answered Saturday August 14 2004, 2:57 pm: If you have family friends that have little kids, tell them that you are trying to get into the babysitting job and you need a "first customer" and you thought it would be more comfortable starting with kids that you know- or you can do a carwash. Or a bake sale- or a garage sale- or you can try mowing lawns. Good luck and I hope you raise the money. I have high hopes for u! [ sportscutie13's advice column | Ask sportscutie13 A Question ]

crystal200022us answered Saturday August 14 2004, 2:08 pm: Well, I do have some suggestions. You can try garage sales or go around asking your neighbors if there is anything you can do to raise money. Also, if your state does the deposit on soda pop cans then you can go around and collect cans. Also, see if there is something you can do around the house to raise money. I hope this helps!

JoSiE19 answered Saturday August 14 2004, 1:48 pm: well, i have actually started a band of my own and i know that feeling of being destined to do what u want to do...look, do chores around the house...i'm not sure how old u r but if u have a job save up...try cleaning...like for ur neighbors or friends that need the help, and if the guitar is sold then find another...look it's the quality u need, i know its hard cauze u want that guitar so bad...but if u really wanna get good u also have to pay to get lessons...which costs more money...and u dont want to have a crappy guitar...so give urself more time so u can save up more, get a better guitar...have time to learn, and get good! rate me
S_C answered Saturday August 14 2004, 1:46 pm: i agree with pinkie... i think thats it, but anyways
you can babysit
mow lawns
clean houses
I'm sorry, but you'll have to hold of going to the mall and movies for a while
If they ask what you charge, then for babysitting if it's more then one kid or a tough kid to handle say 7$$ an hour
if it's 1 kid, and he/she is easy, say $5 an hour
When mowing, if you also trim and weedwack or w/e then go with anything from 15-30$$$ depending how big the lawn is
but really you should wait to start a band until you have the instruments, and atleast get good at playing [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
