I want to dye my hair a crazy color like blue or purple, and I want to know some good hair products that work for *ahem* ethnic hair ( I'm Black if you haven't figured that out yet) I want something that will be semi-permanent. I also don't want to bleach my hair, I don't want to put too many chemicals in it. So if anyone has any ideas, let me know. (link)

If you don't want to bleach your hair the color won't come out bright. Since I'm figuring your hair is dark, you won't be able to see the color much without bleach. But if you still want to dye it, I believe urban decay makes a special gentle hair dye for hair just like yours. Check it out. If I'm wrong come back and tell me and I'll find a different one.

I was going through the same exact thing till this morning. I talked to my best friend's boyfriend and told him exactly what my problem was. It turns out that's all I had to do. He talked to her about it and she apologized and promised that she'd stop ignoring me and spend more time like we used to.

Lemon juice doesn't actaully do anything to lighten freckles. Freckles are too far down in the skin to be lifted out by lemon juice. The only thing you could do without getting surgery or a special facial would be to wear makeup to cover them. I'm sorry to hear that you don't like your freckles. If you let them lighten, freckles can be used to a girls advantage in a look.

Show them that you're responsible, if you can talk openly with your parents, by showing them that you use condoms and use severe precaution when doing what you do. Talk to them and share with them that you know the risk you're taking and you're ready to deal with it as an adult.

My best friend and I have known each other for a few years. Since we started high school, however, she has become really needy. She will "like" a guy but she won't do anything about it..then she'll blame them for not asking her out. It becomes the focus of her life and she gets really depressed if the guy doesn't 'pay her enough attention'. I've tried telling her that guys aren't the only thing in life and that her friends love her, etc..but she wont believe it and just uses it to show how 'unloved' and 'unlistened to' she is. Tell her that if guys are the most important thing to her then she should be able to talk to them and ask one out. If she can't do it obviously they're not what should be focused on the most. It's not her fault that she feels this way though. My friend does it too only she has a boyfriend. She spends all the time in the world with him and neglects her friends. She didn't get it till, actually, this morning when I explained it to her and she burst into tears saying how sorry she was and how she got it now. So just make sure you explain yourself thoroughly.

Ask her out on a date to the movies or something. Specify that it's a date too, don't just say do you want to go to the movies with me. If she accepts she obviously sees your relationship potentially going somewhere.

If he likes you that much too why don't YOU just ask HIM out? It's not like an unwritten rule for girls to never ask out guys cause it's their job. In fact it takes alot of the pressure off of them to always have to do the asking so he'll be relieved. And if you do ask and he says no then you two weren't meant to be anyways so don't sweat it.

Do something with a new look. Have a wild new hair style or do something ultra chic with your clothes. And be happy! Talk to people, introduce yourself. And talk to them on a regular basis. It'll make you seem interested in making friends with them. If you think you won't have anything to talk about, make topics like, "Hey! So did you see the new *insert actor/actress* movie?" If they did, ask them how they liked it or if it was better than their last movie because you were thinking about seeing it. This will ensure they'll know you're interested in what they think and make yourself seem like an interesting person.

my bestest, bestest, BeStEsT friend in the whole wide world jus did the worst thing a best friend cud eva do. She slept wit my crush. I'd have to say that you shouldn't forgive her. I'm sorry it has to be that way but she deserves it. What she doesn't deserve is a great friend like you. It's hard enough to keep friendships together today with sex among young teens on the rise but to give in to it all and have her do that with your crush just isn't right. It's not the friend thing to do and if she was really your friend she wouldn't have done that.

If you want to get back at someone there are three things you have to remember.
1- Do not destroy their personal property. It'll get you in more trouble than you need.
2- Do not spread rumors about the person because it'll come back to haunt you.
And 3- Don't harm the person themself. It's too dangerous.
All you can do and not be harsh or safe is beat them back at whatever they did to humiliate you.

I like guys who can tell me what games are the best and how to get my computer out of trouble. (I needed that like two months ago. The blue screen of death blew my hard drive. Lol) I think you just need to find a girl who appreciates video games and computer stuff as much as you do.

It hurts less than getting your tounge done. There's less muscle where you get your belly button pierced. The only danger is that it might get infected. But you can avoid that by cleaning it twice a day with alcohol and the stuff they give you when you get it done. But just to warn you, your parent/guardian will have to sign for you to get it done if you're under 18. And make sure when you go to get it done you see them take the instrument out of the wrapper. You need to make sure it's sterile and clean. And after you get it done you'll have to wear pants that don't hit your belly button or the ring so you don't irritate it and cause yourself pain.

I know how you feel. But all you have to do is find something you really enjoy doing and do it. Do it atleast once a day. It'll make you feel better and you'll be accomplishing something. Eating is a different thing. Even if you don't feel hungry you should try and eat something small like bread with peanut butter on it or apples and cheese. These things will help your body realize that it needs energy and it'll make you hungry.

If you know him because of a cousin's friend then ask if it's possibly convenient to come over when he's there. That way his best friend will be there and if he turns out to be a creep then you can just spend the rest of the time with you cousin and his friend. Whatever you do, do NOT allow him to come to your house first. Meet him at a mutual friend's house where there are people around. And you sending a picture of yourself to him isn't a bad thing. It doesn't really make a difference.

Okay...I know a lot of people ask what they should do if they're bad dancers and mostly they're told that they just need more confidence and that they can't be THAT bad. The thing is, I'm REALLY bad, and I'm not just saying it. There have been dances at my school and whenever I go I feel really stupid when I'm out there dancing because I know I suck at it. My boyfriend wanted to take me clubbing once and I had to make up an excuse because I didn't want to embarrass myself! Is there any way I can improve without taking classes? Or is it something that you sort of have to be a natural at? I don't want to have to avoid dancing situations forever! (okay, I'll stop with the drama) Anyway, any advice would help. Thanks! (link)

It depends on what kind of bad dancer you are. you may not move your hips enough. It's a common problem. And if that's not it and you're a bad dancer because you don't go with the rhythm then you have to practice listening to the back beat of the song and not the words. That's initially the part of the song you want to move your body to.

I'm sbout 5'2" and weigh about 90lbs (I have a REALLY fast metabolism). Is it possible to gain any weight on my arms without getting any on my stomach? That's where all my gained weight goes. Could I be able to beef up my arms a bit? (link)

The only way to get your arms to buff up is by working them out more than the rest of your body. Work them out by using a weight set and lifting atleast once a day for 10 minutes. This will build muscle and give your arms a more defined look.

(14/f) i have a hard time getting along with girls. i only have 3 really close friends that are girls and 2 of them are changing alot and i'm begining not to like how they are acting lately. the majority of my friends are boys. i really can't stand being friends with girls! they always find a way to piss me off and with my guy friends... they are so much more easy going! my friend amanda she's been my best friend for about 3 years and she's the same way as me so i guess that's why we get along. but is there something wrong with me that i don't like being around girls and i just like being around guys?? No there's nothing wrong with you. It's perfectly normal to not want to hang out with your own sex. I have alot more guy friends now than I did when I was younger because I've realized how gossipy and occasionally annoying girls can be alot of the time. But I still have a few close, really trust worthy girlfriends. Atleast one good girlfriend that sticks around is better than no girl friends at all because you can discuss girl stuff with her. Wouldn't you feel wierd trying to tell a funny girl's room story to, even if you were really close, one of your guy friends? I know I do. So just make sure that you have a good girlfriend around just for girl stuff.
