i've liked the same guy on/off since like the 5th grade...lets jus say im wayyyyyyy past the 5th grade(im a sohpmore in HS.) Hate to say this but there is really no way to get over somebody. The only think that heals pain is time. Feeling numb can be a good thing and a bad thing,it's good because you KNOW that this is how its always gunna be, it's bad because it means you've stuck around too long. Talk to new guys, make out with strangers, party hard, (don't do anything stupid), get your mind off him, he's gone, Also, if you have his number or screen name, DELETE it NOW. get him OUT of your life, your mind, and your phone. good luck!

my friend abby is in the tenth grade, and her older sister and boyfriend just commited suicide together on saturday(nov.5) and today..abby wasnt at school (no suprise) how long do you think it will be until abby comes back? abby is the kind of person that if she's really depressed she'll start cutting herself... how can i tell (besides the odvious cut scars)if she has?, what can i do to comfort her, (i only see her in latin, because i sit behind her, and she's a couple grades older than me, so i dont see her after school) i just dont want to make things worse for her. she's a really great person, but a little misunderstood by adults... HELP!!! any advice or help will get you a 5 cause i dont know what to do!

That's a hard thing to help out with. People react different in tough situations, some people want everybody to leave them alone, some people want everybody to comfort them, and some people pretend that they want to be left alone but really WANT to be comforted. Some people hate when people say their "sorry for their loss" because it reminds them of it when their trying to move on with thier lives. Just make sure your there for Abby if she needs to talk. If she looks sad, make a joke, or say something that will make her smile, comfort her without reminding her. Good luck

Okay, so I'm dreading next week. Its the 5th anniversary of my dad's death. And for this last month it seems like everything i look at or touch reminds me of him and i just break down crying...but its been five years i mean im almost 18 i shouldnt be acting like im 5, right? I have the support of my boyfriend, but my family isn't here to support me, they dont and havent liked me since the day my dad passed away. It is 1000% normal. You lost a human being that ment more to you then most people in the world should. He was your blood, he was the man that gave you life. Cry your heart out, you're more then allowed too. Age is just a number, a 5 year old can cry and so can an 18 year old, you're not acting like a five year old because your not crying over spilt milk, your upset about a serious matter. I'm terrible sorry about your loss and I hope everything gets better for you.

I'm alittle bit confused... what's your question? If your thinking about commiting suicide and your asking for help I'd LOVE to help out. First of all, you feel that the only thing you live for is my chemical romance right? sweetie, you need to find something else to do with your time, my chemical romance is a BAND. a couple of people who can sing and play intruments. They are normal people like you and me, don't let them change you. It's cool if you want to be goth, if that's the way you want to express yourself then more power to you! suicide is NOT the only permanent solution for a temperary problem. Like I just said a TEMPERARY problem, meaning it's not going to last forever, you'll get over it. Even though you feel like nothing (except my chemical romance)is worth living for, which I have felt(without the my chemical romance part), you have to try your hardest to remember that "after every storm there's a rainbow" corny I know, but completely true. So i graduated from High School last year. And i'm in my first long term relationship. I mean of course i've said i love you and we've had sexual moments together, but i also had that with the last two...the problem is i feel different i feel like i want to give him my whole heart and let go of trying not to give him to much. I want to make things work and show him just how much i care. But in the last two relationships i got cheated on for about 4 to 6 months of our relationships so im scared...is this normal? that is COMPLETELY normal. no matter what other people say, that is normal. You are paranoid because somebody has hurt you before. I understand completely, and its hard to get past that and trust people, especially people that your giving everything to, because they can either make or break you. When my husband and I were first married, he promised me that if we ever had children, he would get out of the army. Two children later, he still hasn't gotten out.
The army has ended up being his life. He loves his job and has informed me that he is never getting out. He feels like his country needs him. I think this is very selfish of him to break his promise to me. The children barely know who their own father is. I feel like a single mother.
While he was in Iraq the second time, I wrote him a letter telling him I couldn't take it anymore and I was filing for divorce. I told him when he got back that I did not mean what I had said and that I was just going through a hard time with the pregnancy. Now three months after the birth of our second child, he is going back to Iraq.
I really do not want to leave this man. I love him dearly; he is my husband and the father of my children. My parents went through a divorce when I was a little girl, so I know how traumatic it is for a child.
It's hard for me to fight with him over this. The precious time he is here, I do not want to fight with him and bring up this issue. I want us to be happy with our time together and act like a family when he is here. I do not want him leaving to go to Iraq thinking that his wife might leave him. But sometimes, I feel like this relationship is just too difficult to take anymore.
What should I do? How do I cope with this? (link)

That's an extreamly tough situation, and I cannot say I relate to it, but I can try my harders to help out. I don't think you should leave him, if you truly love him with all your heart, then you would be even more unhappy without him even being alittle bit in your life. Also, it might be hard on your kids to never have their father around but it's tough to not have your parents together, and you would understand that. Your husband is probably young if you guys are just having kids, he might realize how much of their lives hes missing and end up leaving the army. I mean, how many times do you get to see your OWN kids grow up? ONCE. He should eventaully realize that. I hope you make the right choice and I hope your life turns out great because of it.. take care of yourself

Before you do anything, make sure that she likes you back. Talk to her about it when your friend leaves or something, but make it casual so she doesn't start acting weirder around you. If you find out that she likes you back then talk to your friend about it, tell him you really like her and she feels the same way, tell him that you could have asked her out without consulting him, but you don't want to ruin anything between you and him. Also, make him realize that you are ALOT better of a choice then any guy that shes hanging out with now... because he KNOWS you and he KNOWS that you would treat a girl right. If he says no, have his sister talk to him about it.. girls are good at getting things out of their big brothers O:o) and if for some odd reason none of those things work, you have 2 choices.. you could stay loyal to your best friend and give up on her, or you could always sneak behind his back :o) good luck with everything!!!

I am MADLY in love with this guy that could, well, basically care less about me. I told him i liked him and we have talked since then but he hasnt taken any moves forward. He is EVERYTHING i am NOT...he cusses ALL the TIME, is loud, rude and is a BIT too physical...(he plays football so i give him a bit of a break)...but when we are together in front of my friends or his friends he puts his arm around me and talks like nothin is wrong...I REALLY like this guy....I would DO almost ANYTHING for him....what im wonderin is..Is he worth it......or should I move on? blah.. I know exactly how you feel, I would say hes not worth it but YOU know and I know that in your heart he is. Continue on with life and see how things go, if he still acts the same way.. WOW.. that SOOOO sounds like me like 2 years ago.. sweetie, i changed for that guy and we went out for acouple of monthes and I ended up loosing my virginity to him... he broke up with me the next day... bad boys are NOOO GOOD they LIE LIE LIE until they get what they want, that boy still calls me looking for sex.. if you want a true boyfriend and somebody who actually cares about you I advise you look for a more tame guy. First, before talking to your parents, talk to the guy you are having it with.. is he your boyfriend? If so, do you want to marry this guy? Talk to him about it because this is a huge deal. im fourteen and going into the 9th grade. i dont think im ugly, not georgeous or anything, but not ugly. im not fat, but i could tone up a little. for some reason im always feeling insecure though. in school, i dont talk much in class && everyone says im really shy. now once i get to know people they'll tell you im the loudest person they know. i love to talk && gossip. but it takes me awhile to get to know people, i want to know how people act and what they like before i start talking about random things to avoid making them mad if they dont agree with me on something. well anyway, i just moved almost two years ago and i havent quite adjusted yet. ive made new friends but it seems people still see me as the new girl, and me being shy doesnt help at all. once in our developemental guidance class they asked my friend amy who she usually hangs out with, and she said me. than this kid matt says something about how we both never talk, than our friend kristen starts laughing and says we never shut up. i wish i could be more social with people i dont normally hang out with, and that way i could also make more friends. also, everyone thinks im a goody-good. which theres not anything wrong with, but im far from it and i dont want people to look at me like that. how can i learn to be comfortable around everyone? The best thing you can do is to first be comfortable with yourself, your body is the BEST thing you own, and you have to love it to have other people love it. Your mind is your own and it's okay if people don't agree with everything you say, that's why we're all different. I'm sure all the people in your class would love to hear from you, you dont have to be the loudest person in the class, just voice your oppinion. At first it might be weird for you, but youll get used to it and so will everybody else! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

awweee!!! everygirl has that problem. When you know your on your period, wear tampons, they make your period shorter, and wear dark jeans just incase you do leak, its less noticeable. Also, bring a sweatshirt that you can tie around your waise just incase something does happen, NEVER wear white jeans, or skirts, bigggg NO NO! and if somebody happens to see if you leak throug, its not the end of the world. people understand. guys understand too. its natural!!! good luck!
