Does anyone feel emotionally numb?
I can't feel...not happiness, not sadness, not remorse. I don't care about anyone or anything. I am manipulative and i find myself just using people. I need to know if there is anyone else like me.

I went through a phase like this. I had been suppressing a lot of anger and it was wearing my body down.

I became severely depressed and always felt like I wanted to hurt people when I got mad. Or I would blame other people for my problems and make them feel bad.

You need to talk to someone you trust, and maybe get some therapy. I know, a 'shrink'. I hated it at first. But soon you get a lot of stuff out of your system. And if you do have a personality disorder, there is plenty of medicine to help you.

Just see your doctor. Talk to some friends and what really helped me was writing. I wrote just what I felt like. I would write letters to people, and poems and stories. I never let anyone read them of course, but it made me feel a little better.

Do something you enjoy doing too.

well there this place that all the teenager in my city go to called well 400 and well I remeber seeing this one guy and I thought he was really cute but he was all gangster...well that was like 5 months ago and recently this guy added me on myspace and I think its him from what he tells me and from what my friends tell me who know him...well we started talking and he said he added me because he though I was pretty and from his pic I think he is really cute well we have talked dirty but just playing around and crap and I have this huge myspace crush on him like when he messages me I get all happy

Just walk up to him, maybe from behind, tap his shoulder and say "Hi :]" or "Hey".

Odds are if he wants a hug he might give you a hug when he recognizes you. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Oh and, if he isn't as cute as you think, still give him a chance since you liked him for his personality. (It's happened to me before, haha.)

I wouldn't sweat it too much. Just act like it's a normal day and you're gonna go see a friend you see allllll the time. :]

First off, I must say that your lack of correct spelling and grammar tells me that you're not ready to even be worrying about this.

And it won't take away from your orgasms during sex. Your heart rate excels to about 140bpm, and it's always a good experience.

But if you are having sex,(Which I don't recommend with your age), and the guy and/or girl (whichever you fancy) isn't doing it right, because you know what you like to feel, you can tell them.

But don't worry about it. Sex is great if you're safe and with someone you love. It sucks when you do it with someone just to have it done, or to "up your cool-status".

I used to do Jazz, and now I want to do it again. I started at 3 and I did Jazz,Balet, and Gymnastics. I quit balet at 8. I did Jazz and Gymnastics until my parents made me chose one at 10, I chose gymnastics. I did gymnastics until the age of 14 when my parents made me quit because of health issues. I got to level 7. After that I gained about 30 pounds, but I lost it within the year.

I'm 15 now. Do you think I'll be able to pick up Jazz again? I'm really flexible, I have all my splits, all my jumps, I don't really remember a lot about it but I'm a quick learner. I really do want to dance again, but I can only do it during the summer. My parents won't let me during the school year. So I was thinking I could start back up this summer, practice on my own during the school year and maybe start studio dancing when I'm 18. Do you think that's realsitic if I want to be a dancer?

That sounds completely reasonable. Since you have the will power to do it, it shows potential.

And since you already have experience in it, it shouldn't be too hard. It will probably come back to you in no time. But it won't be easy. You may be sore, and wanna quit. But don't.

And I think the dancing classes at the university sounds great :] Not all universitys have them, so I would check on their website.

If you keep practicing during the school year, you should be ready by the summer.

So yes, it is completely reasonable. :]

This guy and I have been talking on aim for forever. We were really tight, and he liked me... i also liked him. I know him because of my friend Jen. Well, Friday, I was with Ron and he didnt hold my hand or anything. When he left, I was telling Jen how it went. She kept asking me questions witch was making it seem that I he didnt like me, and it made it seem that i was obsessed with him. So i said he didnt have a 6 pack at all. Jen told him I said that... and he is really pissed off. I can't stop crying. Jen is TRULY sorry, I belive her. I want things to be the same between Ron and I. He liked me all until this happened. What should I do?

Wow. If this guy gets pissed off because you said he didn't have a six pack..then that's bad.

It shows that he's really self centered, and that he probably gets mad at the little-est of things.

But if you still wanna fix things with him, just talk to him and apologize about what you said. And if he doesn't listen then it's his fault. It was a silly thing to get mad over.

And as for your friend Jen, she probably likes him too. That would explain why she told him that. But friends are more important than guys, so keep her close, no matter what she did.

So all and all, just talk to him. Apologize about what you said and explain why you said it.

Alright so last night I discovered on the inside of both cheeks theres a long of like bumps of some sort.I can't exactly identify what it is.It's bothering me now that I discovered it.Can anyone explain or let me know what this is.I'm a little worried.My boyfriend thought it might be from biting my gums at night, But I don't know.Any ideas or input on what it is would be greatly appreciated.

I have that too. I got it really bad when I had braces, because the metal would rub against my cheeks and then they would get sore and thats how your cheeks heals, with little bumps.

I also bit my cheeks in my sleep. And when I chew gum I subconsciously chew my cheek too.

So I wouldn't worry too much about it. Your boyfriend's probably right about you biting cheeks at night.

Unless it starts to swell and possibly bleed, there's no need to see a doctor or anything like that. :]

It's really natural for you to be looking and comparing yourself to other girls. Which would explain the staring and thinking about her.

It's a subconscious thing we all do. Unless you're fantasizing about her, I doubt you should be questioning your sexuality.

As you said you love guys. And since it is only one girl and from what you've said you're not having "feelings" for her.

So I would chill out :] There's nothing wrong with you, and even if you didn't like guys as much, there still wouldn't be anything wrong with you.

Just try and sit down and think to yourself, what it is you like about her. Like is it her whole persona and maybe you aspire to be like her? Or maybe you think you pale in comparison? This is all completely natural. You're just finding out who you are :]

I'm a thirteen year old female going to high school as a freshmen. In seventh grade there was this guy V that my friend M went out with and my other friend B liked him but M and B where best friends but they were both friends to me well there friendship ended because B liked V and tried to get with him after M and V broke up. Then me and B became best friends all this while I always liked V. V would always tell me how he could not stand and would repeat how much he did not like B but I couldn't tell her that. Well our eighth grade year V didn't come back but he moved with his dad, and B and M are still not friends to this day. About half way into our eighth grade year I found V's myspace, and added him and started talking to him, and B got jealous but I ignored that. On day this summer V sent me a message telling me that he moved back over by me on the same street as my grandma and to call me whenever I was over there. Well today I hung out with him he asked me to come in but I was like thats okay, do you think he wants to do other things? I know FOR SURE i would never do anything I haven't even kissed anyone yet, but he calls me alot and invites me in his house all the time. What do you think he is indicating? Also I don't want B to get hurt although we aren't as close as before I think she still likes V but I really don't care about that but he knows and he said since they are going to the same school and I'm not that if B tried to get with him at all he would humiliate her in front of everybody that is all I am worried about so how can I fix that?

Okay. Just use fake names. It's so much easier and less confusing than letters.

I don't V is implying anything by asking to hang out with you. He could just wanna be friends. You can't always be afraid of what they want, because generally guys all want the same thing. But it's a part of life and learning. And if he tries anything on you, which he shouldn't. [You're 13 for crying out loud.] But if he does, just tell him no, and if you feel uncomfortable, then simply leave his house, or hit him :]

And if B gets upset that you're hanging out with him, and not doing anything with him. Then she's acting really immature. You're allowed to have guy friends. Guys shouldn't break up friends, by the way. Friends are forever.

And this guy sounds fishy to me. He shouldn't have to humiliate your friend. He should be civilized and just talk to her, and tell her how he doesn't like her and she needs to move on. But in a nicer sense.

The only thing you can do about him doing something to B, is to talk to him, and ask him not to. He'll probably listen. It sounds to me that he may like you.

So don't worry about his intentions. Just be on your guard. And talk to him about the whole "I'll humiliate her" situation.

hey my i'm using a new computer cause my old one broke. & so my itunes library is empty but now i added some songs that i dont have in my ipod in my library. it is possible to transfer the songs from my library to my ipod or would it have to erase and sync everything first? because i don't want to wipe out my songs on my ipod and i want to add new songs in it. thanks.

When you sync your iPod to your iTunes, it goes with whatever's there.

So you'll have to get all the songs on your iPod and put them in your iTunes if you want to keep them.

'Cause it will delete them all and just put the new songs on there.

How do braces(for teeth) get taken off and does it hurt at all? I've asked my dentist but he never answers me... If you could help that would be great cause i am kinda scared to get them off.

You should be excited. I got my braces off in 7th grade after having them for two years.

What they do is remove the wires, then take those plier things, and take the brackets off. Then they scrape the glue off, then theyll clean your teeth. And then you go brush them again anyway.

It sounds horrific but the worst part about it, is the sound when they take your brackets off.

But it doesn't hurt. And your teeth will feel kinda slimy cause you wont be used to being able to feel your whole tooth X)

What actually happens when you're hungry?? What does your body do?? I heard from an article that your fat is stored up, but I also heard from a different article that your body burns off fat?? Any opinions? Thanks!

It's not nesesscarily when you're hungry. It's more along the lines of when you don't eat for a long time.

Your body will start storing the fat that you have, and then it will burn that for energy. So it does both.

It needs to do this because, your body needs energy and if you aren't eating, then the fat is the only thing your body can get the energy from.

So it stores, it up, then burns it off.

i broke up with my boyfriend yesterday, i posted a long story yesterday about the situation and a lot of people told me i would be better off without him and so did a lot of my friends..
but i love this guy a lot, i even lost my virginity to him and i miss him like crazy and i think i made a huge mistake i never should have broken up with him, even though he asked my cousin to have sex with him while we were going out.. i can like get over that because i know he wouldnt really do it, and i love this guy more than anything and he is always there for me... how can i get him back? i just like broke his heart and mine.. what should i do? should i try and move on? or i dont know :/

I read and answered your story yesterday. It's normal to feel this way. The answer below mine explains it really well.

And him asking your cousin to have sex with him. is NOT cool. You say you could get over it, but what if he did actually cheat on you with her? You wouldn't be able to get over it.

Youll probably feel a little down for a while. But thats where your loyal and loving friends come in. :] Friends are so much better than boyfriends. They stick with you. From how you described "Guy B" I would say you have hidden feelings for him. I agree with Jasmine below me. You really should end it with your current boyfriend and give Guy B a chance. By him coming to you and coming clean about his feelings towards you, and telling you the truth about your boyfriend now, shows he's sincere and honest.

You're probably gonna be much much happoer that way. And from the looks/sounds of it. You're not gonna regret it very much.

okay so i have 2 friends.. birthdays are september 5th and 6th. one on the 5th is turning 16 and the one on the 6th is turning 17. so in our group of friends, there's 6 of us, including those 2. now for their birthdays.. we wanted to throw them like a cool get together party. not really like a hundred people party.. just something cool. like we've heard about people who covered the basement in black paper, wore all white clothes, and had like a splatter paint party. we want it to involve alcohol.. and i am asking for help to try and think of cool party ideas that we could do or themes or anything really fun and unique! thanks for any help!

Well, depending on what music you like. This works best with techno/screamo. But it works with all :P

If you have a basement, have the party at night in the basement so it's dark. And maybe get a strobe light, and like a fog machine. xD I've done this before, and it was really fun. But there was like 50+ people there.

If it's gonna be a small group, maybe nix the fog machine and get glow sticks.

And if someone suffers from a history of elpilipsys[Spelling? :S] or seizures, get a black light instead.

And then maybe request for the people to wear black/neon/white clothes. You can make it formal or casual. Whatever's more comfortable.

And for the alcohol, set up a mini bar, like out of a table, and put a white tablecloth over it, so it would shine really bright.

Also I would designate someone a "Key master". Like from the movie Say Anything. Where people drop their keys off, and the "Key Master" has to judge who can go drive home or not.

Or if you want like a color theme, think of 3 colors that go really well together. Like black white and red. Or something. And request the people to wear those colors, then decorate the room where the party is with those colors. Then just turn on good music. :]

I've done the first thing, and everyone had an amazing time.
