what are some good bands that aren't that popular.. i'm really into like alternative/rock right now. i actually kinda like the screamo-ish stuff too like that song i'm so sick by flyleaf like it's not the whole song but just a little of it. also like a.f.i miss murder i like them.. and i also like the all-american rejects, p!atd..ya knoww.. lol well yeah so what are some other good bands like those ? =] thanks.

umm my chemical romance, Panic! At the disco, Simple Plan, Yellow Card all those kind of bands you could use.

I trim, and I want to start shaving. but do I just, shave it all off? I've heard that you can do different shapes like the "Bermuda Triangle", or do the "landing strip". But which would be the best thing to do? And are there other types of ways to have it look?

There is different shapes you can do. but its your choice. try not to shave it all off bc your skin dose get irritated. So do whatever you want and it will work out. I would consider trying each one and see what one is best for you.

I am just looking for some advice on how to make my room funky and retro looking. I'm not allowed to paint it, but I can put a border up. The only limit is my budget, which is... not much. Any ideas?

Well i just re-did my room and i got it from a LTD magazine. You can order it from the magzine, and they will ship it to you in about 2-4 weeks. or you could look in a JCPenny calalog or store and see what they have there. you could go to a JoHan Fabrics store and im sure they will have borders there. Just look around in different stores and magazines and im sure you will find what you are looking for.

i was always told that going on the pill would make your period stop completely (by freinds, not doctors) and lately i've been seeing a commercial about a pill that can reduce your period to only 3 days?? now, is it true that there is such a thing as a birth control pill that can make your period stop altogether, or is that just a myth?

umm i dont think there is a pill that completely stops your period..but i heard there is a shot that can. you might want to consider the pill that reduces your period to 3 days and how that works out.

I feel like I cant talk to my boyfriend anymore..well, i cant stand him. I mean, I love him, but he does the stupidest things and pisses me off all the time, yet he can be soo sweet. Like, he'll call me a tramp one second [[and ya know, say hes kidding and he loves me]], but hes getting me this Ring with our names engraved on it that costs well over $200! [[we picked it out together]]..but just earlier today, he calls me and tells me he deleted the voicemails i left him, so i tell him i would call him back [[since one of the voicemails said i was going to go take a shower and id call him when i was done]] so he flipped and was like, "fine go do whatever" and he hung up on me. An hour later, he tried calling me back, but i was still pissed about him hanging up on me. What should I do now?

yeah..you DO NOT deserve to be treated like that. its wrong for ANY girl to be treated like that. you should not date him anymore, even if he dose give you that ring. lol. it dose sound nice but anyways. im sure that you dont want to be treated like that. and if he keeps calling you back just talk to him maybe. see if my advice works out.

It's not that its badd for your hair...i just wouldnt use it if i were you because it will make your hair look very greasy.

heres a simple question, am i weird? i am 13 and i like old songs like by the 4 seasons and i have them on my ipod and stuff. and also ALOT of other oldies or old songs. not just oldies, like stuff from 80's and 70's. and i loved the jersey boys musical. i dont think of myself as a geek. i also love new songs but i love old songs just as much, am i a little.. odd?

NOOO!! lol. i love old songs too! they rock. your not odd bc i like old sons too. and i bet you a lot of other people like old songs too. they just wont addmit it.

Okay well first of all I am 14/f and I have never had a boyfried. I have never even kissed a guy before. Well my question is why? I mean I'm not the prettiest but I have a great personality and I am fun to be around. Do guys only go for looks? What are some things that attract guys or what should I change to get a boyfriend?

Well you should know that guys are jerks. Now a days, yes most guys only go for looks. But thats not what you would want. You want a guy that loves you for who you are. Not what you look like. If you have a great personality like you say then thats all you need. Just wait until you find that perfect guy that loves you just the way you are.

All the popular girls in my school (yeah this is kinda mean but its true lol) they're all pretty ugly. yeahh some of them are pretty at times, they have nice clothes. but they're not like extremely gorgeous. some of them are even a little overweight. (not a lot, just like kinda chubby) even so, the boys are always all over them. and i really don't understand why. yeah, they're outgoing and flirty.. but still. i know i'm not the prettiest girl out there, but i'm not bad. i have nice clothes.. but the boys in my school hardly even notice me. the only thing is, is that i'm REALLY shy. but around my friends, family, and people i've known for a long time, i'm really talkative and outgoing. the people in my school don't seem to realize that however. so i'm known as some girl who never talks practically. and it pisses me off because i know i do talk, they just don't know anything about me. but like, the boy i like is popular, and is always flirting with and around those girls.. what they see in them, i don't know.. how can i get boys to notice me.. especially since i'm going to high school in september and there's gonna be new people. i've never had a real boyfriend before either =[ 14/f thnx.

This is the same problem i have in my school. ok this is going to be longg but please read it bc i know exactly what to help you with. Ok last year i was very, very popular. and then me and my friends got into a BIGGG fight.(i wont get into that part) but anyways, now im not as popular as i was before. girls can be mean and just listen to your heart and be a true friend and dont let the "popular" girls get in your way. i have learned that the hard way. as long as you got your real friends, then thats all you need. and for the guy that you like, maybe start talking to him more and not be as shy around other people. i know that it is hard because after me and my friends had got into that fight, i have a very low-selfestem. and its just because they make it that way. so just try to open yourself up around people. and remember to keep your old friends because they are the friends you will have FOREVERR!!

OK let me just say I am the type of person who can settle arguements easily and I can cooperate and really liten to my partner so dont think I am selfish. But lately we have been fighting about everything. And he likes to just ignore it and talk lets say the next morning or w/e. The problem is that I cannot sleep until I fix the problem. Today he said something that really hurt my feelings and i am sick of solving problems and him not giving a shyt. I love him to death but think i should dump him.

Guys do push problems out of the way without solving them. Girls, on the other hand, don't. So what I think you would need to do with him is to sit down and really talk about it with him. And remember, relationships do have a lot of problems so dont take it too hard on yourself.

You should work out more. Crunches usually help in that area. eat healthy, exercize more often, see a doctor, or use a push-up bra to help support your breasts. And just be confident in yourself and everything should work out fine.

So i'm a girl (15) and i like this guy we'll just call him hc. Well, hc and i are like really really good friends and he now knows that i like him. well, me and hc have not talked since i told him. Another problem, we are kinda related but not like blood related. his cousin married my brother. but we were friends before that and my brother got married in febuary and hc was dancing with me all the time we shrared drinks and food and we had so much fun. He's really nice and i can't stop thinking about him! I don't know how to even start our first conversation since he knows i like him! Please help! i rate all 5's usually!

Alright, i know how you feel. See , me and my guy friend were really good friends. I told my friend that i liked him a lot, and people found out and told him. So we didnt talk for a long time and then one day he came up to me and asked if i wanted to go to the movies with a bunch of people. and i said yes. then we just became friends again after that. but if you still really like him, then you should talk to him about it and if he dosnt like you back, you might as well just be friends. and i wouldnt think that you would want to loose one of your good friends just because of something silly, rightt??

Ok. Umm so if your boyfriend and you are growing apart, then maybe you should try something new for a change. Or maybe you should have a serious talk with your him and see his point of veiw on the situation. But dont just blow him off for the other guy, just talk to him about just being friends for awhile.

Okay. so my hair is really straight. and when i say straight i mean straight. There is no wave or curl to it whatsoever. My question is how can i make it curly. Do perms turn out okay? i dont want it tightly curled just like loose curls. Help!! Ill rate, i promise. =]

Yes, perms do turn out fine. I had one myself. And if you do want loose curls, just ask your hair dresser for loose curls. They do work out fine and they last about 3 months.

okk. ill start from the beggining...i started liking this kidd(bob) at my friends party. and my other friend(jake) knows that i like him so we've been calling him. and id be on mute and jake would ask him if he likes me and he wouldnt know im on the phone...this is how the conversation goes...Jake: heyy do you want to go to the mall? Bob: maybe ill think about it Jake: jill likes you bob:well ill think about it and ill call my friend and ask him if he wants to go. In the conversation it dose seem like he likes you. because the way you worded it, jake would ask him if he was going to ask you out and hes like i dont know and then changed to subject really quick. so there probally is a chance that he likes you.

Well i had a stage like that too. I didnt have a boyfriend for over a year and I just stuck to myself and then i found the guy i like. so you will grow out of this so called "stage" sooner or later. and if your the pretiest girl out of your friends, then you have a chance. guys are jerks and sometimes us females dont need them in our lives. so just stay strong and you will find the right guy sooner or later.

Lately, I've been getting pretty serious with my guy friend who just happens to be 18. The problem is, I'm 15.

He, however, is still in highschool and still has one more year to complete.

Is this consider child molestation or anything like that? Could he, or I, get in trouble?

Also, I turn 16 in about a week, when I'm 16 is that still illegal?


No i dont think its child molestation. I think child melestation is when there is a 6 years difference in the relationship. But you might want to be careful and get checked because i dont want anyone to be getting STD's and such a young age.
