I am just looking for some advice on how to make my room funky and retro looking. I'm not allowed to paint it, but I can put a border up. The only limit is my budget, which is... not much. Any ideas?

You can order it from the magzine, and they will ship it to you in about 2-4 weeks. or you could look in a JCPenny calalog or store and see what they have there. you could go to a JoHan Fabrics store and im sure they will have borders there. Just look around in different stores and magazines and im sure you will find what you are looking for.
Good Luck=)

They come in polkadots and sinceyou're looking for a retro look, they would look funky if you put them lined up, to make a box. If you know any other places to get wall decals check em out!! taylamayy answered Sunday June 18 2006, 7:36 pm: i just re did my room. but unlike yours i painted it and got new carpet because i moved across the hall. well the first thing i did was put up some posters, just make the room yours. your room should show what you like and what your interests are, so try some beads and mabey some picture frams. if you go to dry ice or clairs they have tons of neat stuff for your room.
hope your room turns out awesome ;) [ taylamayy's advice column | Ask taylamayy A Question ]
