i tried out for cheerleading and i actually made it (yaay!). none of my good friends tried out, which means that most of the other cheerleaders are girls i didnt really know before. some of them are really nice, and now that ive met them, ive made some new friends. but this puts me in an awkward situation. every weekend i have to choose between hanging out with my new friends or my old friends. i try to balance it out, but whatever i do, im screwed. if i turn down an invitation from a new friend, she might think i don't like her and not invite me again. but if i dont hang out with my old friends, they think im ditching them for the "popular" people. im really not like that... i dont care about being popular, i just actually like some of the cheerleaders, and besides, i have to cheer with them all year, so i might as well get to know them. but i really dont want to lose my old friends, because, well, they're my friends! im afraid that if i dont handle this right, im gonna go from having too many friends to having none at all!

I had this same problem. If you already have plans with your new or old friends, and the opposite ask to hang out, just simply say you already have plans. The team will definitly understand because you are already spending so much time with them at practice and everything. Maybe even have the two groups of friends meet, have a get together at your house or something. Who knows what might happen. Hope i helped! =]

what should my "average" weight be?
or the normal.
is 110 too little?

110 is not too little, but 185 is a little over what you should be. Age is a dependant also. I'm about 5'6, i'm 14, and i weight about 121, and thats supposidly normal for my body type. I would assume your normal would be around 115-120, but i wouldn't try to get there, because that is just too unhealthy. But you should gradually try to lose some weight. Hope i helped =]

ok so my boyfriend made a wish a couple of days ago on myspace ofcourse...It was a bulliten he posted...It said "11 signs you love someone (if that will ever happen)"...I confronted him about it because he always tells me how much he loves me and stuff..And he said " i wished that katie and brandon would break up" and we got into a huge fight...Because he sleeps over at Katie's house all the time and he asked her out in september and she said no...He asked me out in november and him and Kaie are like brother and sister...But he likes her...He says he doesn't love me like he used to but he wants to be with me because he does love me...But he can't stop thinking about how things would be if him and Katie were going out...He says he'll do whatever he can to keep us together because he wants to be with me..
My first question is: How can I make him relize that she will never go out with him ever because it would ruin their friendship?(she told me that herself)
And my second question is: How can I help him fix what's wrong in our relationship?because it is just as much his fault as it is mine I had the same problem when we first started going out 6 months ago...

Let him know that if your not his one and only, then it's not worth it. Try and ask Katie to tell him that she doesn't like him like that, and never will. But in the nicest way possible because you don't want to become a rebound.
As for the 2nd question, do things to keep the spark alive. Like do things with eachothers familys. Do things you normally wouldn't do, like go to an expencive resturant but don't let him pay for the whole thing. Do something cute and romantic for him. If he doesn't show respect for this back then maybe it just isn't meant to be.

i started babysitting this nine year old girl every wednsday and friday from four to eleven about three month ago. she goes to bed at eight thirty but her older brother gets home around nine thirty or ten from work but i stay until his parents get home so they can pay me. he's 27. he started hitting on me the first wednsday i started babysitting. then about two weeks into it, the fourth time i babysat, i was washing dishes. he came up behind me, put his arms around my waist and started kissing my neck while he was putting his hands up my shirt. he said that it was time for me to stop 'teasing' him. i don't think i was teasing him, i dont dress revealingly or anything and i usually have something on my clothes by the time he gets home.
But anyway, i told him we shouldn't do anything, but he is really cute and it did feel good, but i didn't want to get caught by his parents. i didnt want them to fire me. well we didn't hae sex but he did rub me through my jeans and he pressed his penis into my back. but the next week he came home early and we did have sex and we have been keepingit a secret since then and now i want to stop because it makes me feel guilty. my bff said i shouldn't beaccuse he took advantage of me because he's the adult and he told me that he would tell his parents that i hit on him and tried to sleep with him if ii stopped. i don't know what to do i want to keep babysitting carly because shes kind of attached to me, but i dont want to be pressured when her brothre comes home.pleae help me.

I would stop babysitting them. I mean yeah the kids feelings are important, but your safty is more important. You don't want to get into a situation that you can't get out of or just get in trouble. Maybe you can still visit the girl when the brother isn't home, so she doesn't lose you completely but i would try my best to stay away from him.

My so called best friend.. I cannot stand right now. Her attitude towards me has been real shitty. She blew up on me because I didn't want to be a stalker and take a picture of her crush. She kept digging her fingernails into my arm that whole day and it was pissing me off. She has a few disorders and whatnot, i never put that against her. But she says she never takes her meds. I honestly don't know. She says a lot and acts really weird and seems to do it for attention.. Just to make herself look even weirder, if that makes any sense. Now she's acting strange and keeps clinging onto me, I don't know why it's upsetting me. She dug her fingernails into my arm and started to bend my arm [it hurt] .. mumbling stupid things like "I want to kill something" and.. she keeps pulling on me and twisting me around. Why would this be pissing me off? I don't understand myself. We are alike in so many ways but now, I want to slap her. She's been giving me attitude and it pisses me off. "What the hells wrong with you!?" when I didn't take a picture of the guy and she threw something at me.. and kinda put me in a choke hold. [Something she always seems to do]
Today she said in a snotty voice. "Why didn't you take a picture? Did your camera have low battery? Why? You didn't want to..? *YOU HAVE NO GOOD EXCUSE DO YOU?*" that part made me angry. I was so happy that she had to leave next period because we are in the same class..

I don't know what to do.. or what to say. She always wins. I don't know why I'm suddenly feeling like this either.

Just because you always feel like she always wins, Doesn't mean she does. This girl is just starving for attention, or she could have serious problems. I would stay away from her for a little while until she clams down or starts taking her meds again. Don't take her shit either. But don't piss her off because that could be scary.

weve been bestfriends 7 years but now i think were growing apart. im 14 shes 13. im very perky and peppy. she is very dark hearted. i wear pinks and brights she wears the blacks and darks. we have always been real different like this but now i gues its going to extremes. prep and goth totally different music she listens to screaming and rock stuff i listen to pop. even when we go to the mall i want hollistar she wants hottopic. when we go to dances its just creepy the people she can meet and how she dances. i dont wana lose her shes all i really got. i make it seem like i have alot of friends but its really only her. she has alot of gothic friends that were there for her when she was suicideal. she just scared me so i was kinda away i regret it now. now i realize that i left her when she was dieing literally how meaner can i get to her. leaveing your bestfriend to die. we talk over aim and very little at school but thats pretty much all. i dont like her friends i hate them so much their freaks and just try to kill theirselvs for fun? i told her that it made her scream and go to them. she doesnt cry not even through all the deaths shes been through. i can tell in her eyes shes dieing inside. shes always in trouble always pissed at something. shes very mad im scared of her she talks about death and killing and she can kill someone instantly shes just scarey. shes always with her other friends she said there the only ones in my life to understand me truely. they have kept her alive this hole year. she will not let anyone help her not even her parents but how do i. there is alot of questions about friends on here so i was hopeing anything will help me. anything please shes all i need

Just be friends with her again then. Obviously if she is trying to kill herself, then she is depressed. If she is around depressing people all the time, its just going to make her more depressed. But just try and hang out with her more and do fun things with her. But never let her leave her friends if she doesn't want to, because thats not friend like at all. Just be a friend to her. Thats all. Support her. If she wants to go into hottopic, let her. GO with her, those people in there are A LOT A LOT nicer than the ones in hollister.

So, my friend confessed she has been making herself throw up because she cares a lot about what other people think and it makes her feel better. I know a lot about it, I told her it's damaging. she says she's gonna try to stop, but I doubt she will. I just don't really know what to do. I know I can't really tell anyone- her parents would not understand, neither would mind. and I can't really tell any adult, cause I know she wont seek help or anything. What can I do for her personally?

well i have this similar problem, my boyfriend just confessed to bulimia also. Just completement her a lot, and show her that she doesn't need to throw up to be beautiful. Tell her the vomiting isn't attractive. Just show her that you will love her no matter what, and her doing that to herself just hurts you to know that she is hurting herself. Basically, she just needs comforting. And maybe you guys can start doing things together to lose weight, the healthy way. Just be there for her, and help her through it.

well, that is probably one of the dumbest things you can do. Because that name is disgusting. They were probably offended by what you said, mainly because it was so awkward. They probably weren't in the mood to deal with it either because they were in a really good mood with their boyfriend, and then you saying that probably just made them feel really gross and not in a good mood. They aren't mad at you, they just think you have a crush on them, not in a friend way, and it makes them feel weird when you call them "Names".

i know turning a guy on can depend on the guy alot of the time. but are there any things that generally work a lot of the time to turn on a guy? like kissing them a certain way or whatnot? or a certain place?

the neck is always a good one. and like when your kissing and you have your arms around him just like suddenly squeeze him and draw closer and kiss harder. He'll know your getting "happier" and he will get a hint. Or if your sitting there kissing put your hand on his leg and gently slid it upwards. it works well =D

Hey all, Okay so I have a huge problem. I have 8th grade graduation coming up very soon and i still haven't found a dress that i like! The only places I can think of are: Macy's, JCPenney and Sears. And I don't even like any of those dresses!

lately there's been a lot of pressure to get into drinking/getting high. im wondering if when you're high, can you control yourself in any way, like around parents? im basically asking if there's anyway to hide either of these, or if i'll just have to do it and sleepover at a friends that night.

it depends. When some people are high they have faces on that are just reallly high looking and others just don't. I wouldn't go around parents while your on something unless your used to it and you've learned to handle yourself.

This may sound a little silly but if you ever listen to Avril Lavigne lyrics, they are actually really decent, and i've found they can relate to a lot. If your looking for like a love song, you can try the bands, "Boys like Girls" or "Thousand foot Krutch" or "The Spill Canvas" ((The Tide and All hail the heartbreaker. ha, this may sound weird, but the guy i like is completly untouchable? he, i dont know if thats the word, but like hes not perverted or whatever like the rest of the guys at my school. He's so adorable and innocent lol its really cute, but like no one can seem to "turn him on" haha. hes definetly NOT gay if your thinking that!.
