hello. Okay so the prom is april 28th. I have green eyes and dark brown hair. my dress is a dark purple. I'm thinking that the smokey eye would look good, except i can't seem to figure out how to do it. it just doesn't look the same when i do it? Does anybody have any tips or instructions or any other ideas to help me out?

this guy from work asked me out and i decided why not give him a chance. Anyway we went out on my birthday and it was the best date ive ever been on!he brought me a dozen red roses, called me beautiful, paid for the whole date (even thought i insisted)and we talked for a long time. it was amazing and he kissed me at the end, and said he wants to do it again. Now my question is, how do i know when we go from dating to boyfriend and girlfriend? You know what i mean?

I don't think asking you out on one date signifies you're boyfriend/girlfriend. If he only dates girls exclusively then 3 dates usually means you're together. If not, then he will probably ask you to be his girlfriend and if not you can bring it up (Or drop some subtle hints... lol) after a couple of dates if all goes well. Good Luck!

So I'm 14/f and my fried is 15/f. I love her to death. I've known her forever and I would never abandon her.

She suffers from depression and is on 'happy pills' but she told me that she doesn't think that they are working b/c she calls her bf of a year a few times every month at night with her suicidal ideas. And then there's the whole body image thing. She's 5' 3" and 98lbs--underweight, I know. I did the BMI thing. But she still thinks that she's fat & sometimes doesn't eat saying that she is 'not hungry' when she skipped dinner the night before and breakfast. Then there is her sister--she's very close to her family and I don't mind that. What I do mind, however, is her sister [18/f]. She basically smokes pot & just does a lot of [random] guys. She's not the picture perfect sister to look up to [although she seems very nice and cool].

Anyways, her mom wants to send her to a nutritionist [dieting issue] but hasn't yet. But that's not the main question. I want to bring into her parent's attention that jer medicine isn't working sometimes and I'm afriad that she is going to hurt herself someday. And I'm afriad that she'll get dragged into the drug world and what not. I'm just really worried about her and I want to help her but I don't know what to do...I mean I doon't wanna be super friend and straighten out everything but I'm just afraid that I might lose her one day

You're not being too nosy, and maybe you should tell her parents if you are really worried about her safety. She may be mad but you want what's best for her, right? She can't stay mad forever. It sounds like your friend may be anorexic also, but the best thing you can do is be there for her and make sure she knows that.

You shouldn't turn him down. Just because you don't know his friends doesn't mean you can't know them, plus you may make some new friends. Plus if he want's to take you out with his friend he must really like you. It may hurt him if you turn him down.

does getting your cartilidge pierced hurt? does it hurt more than an eaerlobe piercing? and how long do you have to wait before you can take it out ? thank youu.

It doesn't hurt, well it didn't hurt me. It burns a little. Your ear just feels really hot. You should wait about 6 - 8 weeks before taking it out. It takes longer than a earlobe piercing to heal.

15/f. I apologize, this is really long.

Well, I'm beginning (and have already BEEN) to be VERY depressed. And I mean, sometimes for no reason at all. I can't talk to ANYONE. My parents don't understand...and tell me "Oh...don't be ridiculous...there is nothing wrong with you. Everyone passes through this stage". etc. It's driving me nuts. There is too much pressure from school (having to get straight A's or else my parents will EXPLODE), I HATE my friends. They haven't ever done ANYTHING for me. NEVER. They never.......care. :( When I look at them...I see FAKE USERS. They talk crap behind me...which I can prove. I've been cutting myself...and I can't stop. I have NO ONE to talk to and no one to confide in. I don't know if I have some kind of mental illness...but I feel so freaking ALONE in this world. So very lonely. NOBODY and NOTHING ..(LOL) understands me. I feel like an outcast. I'm constantly judged by everything. music tastes, clothes, grades etc. I'm so different. ARGH. I want a therapist and I was wondering (after writing such a long paragraph) if I'm in need of one. :/ Any suggestions? Do therapists actually help? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you may need a therapist. I understand cutting yourself may be a way of coping with pain or the pressure of your life, but it's NOT a good way to deal with it. Maybe you should put yourself around a different group of people, it doesn't sound like your friends are . . . well your friends. You don't want to be around people who make you even more depressed and Everybody is judged, not just you. Even though you may feel like that is the case. You shouldn't keep your emotions bottled up, so get a journal and write everything you're feeling down. It helps. I don't know how much my opinion is worth to you, but I recomend a therapist.

Oh, I'm sorry. I know from experiance how much being in your situation can suck. If you're sure that he will never like you that way then you need to get over him. You don't want to pine for a guy who's never going to like you. Plus you're right, if he doesn't like you than you shouldn't ruin your friendship by telling him. It sounds like he's a great friend. Ok so I like 2 guys. Lets call them Chris and Jamie.
Anyways they both play soccer. If Chris doesn't seem very intrested then maybe he's not. You don't want to pine over a guy who doesn't like you. Also just because you like them both doesn't mean you can't date one of them, and you don't have to tell Jamie you like another guy. I guess you just have to decide who you like more. Decide which ones a better soccer player. (Just Kidding)If you like Jamie and he's single and may like you then go for it! Don't sit around and wait for Chris to like you. Ok.I'm basically not skinny. I've tryed EVERYTHING to get it to go away. I've done dieting, but I keep on braking them, and I'm already in about 1 thosand sports. So I'm thinking about only eating lunch and a little dinner everyday, but I don't know how bad that is for me. Like for lunch, a salad, orange juice (which is nasty), and for dinner maybe only an apple. So should I do it or not? Plus, I need to know if I should do it or not, what should I do?

That's not healthy. If dieting doesn't work for you then try to cut back on your portions and drink more water, but don't starve yourself. Besides not eating breakfast slows your metabolism.

I'm currently just a friend to this guy.
He's sweet and thougtful. I told him once I realy like him, but he never responded on that subject. I can't tell he likes me or not. (He kissed me twice....)

When I write emails or txt msg to him, he will respond right the way,(I like that) but he usually just rwspond my question, not really asking me question (almost it seems doesn't matter to him).
If I asked him out, he will usually says yes, but 3 out of 5, he will cancel it or come out some kind of excuse that he can't make it.

It sounds like he likes you. Maybe he just doesn't want to jeopradize your friendship, even if that does mean a relationship. Guys don't kiss girls they don't like. As for the text thing... Guy's tend to do that, they only answer questions. I guess they're just not that into texting. Who knows?
