prom makeup???
hello. Okay so the prom is april 28th. I have green eyes and dark brown hair. my dress is a dark purple. I'm thinking that the smokey eye would look good, except i can't seem to figure out how to do it. it just doesn't look the same when i do it? Does anybody have any tips or instructions or any other ideas to help me out?

pruple will make your green eyes pop.
first, use a foundation on your face, nothing powdery or heavy. - unless you have a really nice complexion.
use a light pink blush on the apples of your cheeks, sweet the brush in an upward motion towards your temples.
a very light nutural color on your lips, just a gloss even
get a purple eyeliner or shadow and put the eyeliner on yuor top lids and the bottom, but make it lighter on the bottom, and only from the middle of the lid to the outer corner. put a shimmery white /gold color right under your eyebrows.
black mascara too. and that should be nice and simple and natural.
if you want a more intense look, i would say you could put a bit of purple eyeshadow on, but dont over do it. a hit of purple to match with the dress is nice, but too much matching could be a little much.
