Im 20 years old, I have faced many obstacles and problems that I have had to go through alone with no help and the help I recieved wasn't ever any good. I have faced women problems, friends moving, suicide, killings, deaths, car accidents, sibling rivals, fighting, weird hobbies, my best friends being raped. I have been through a little of everything and I was the one many of them turned to so I like to help out.
Hobbies: I do a lot of work in recording studios, and video/editing studios so I know film pretty well. I am a director/producer. Thats what I am in school for, to further my knowledge of set production for I am a pre production wizard. I read a lot so I have knowledge. And more.
Education: I graduated at the top 15 percent of my class in high school which was college prep, and right now im in my 3rd year od college. I have an AA degree in media arts, a 6 month screen writing certificate from NYFA. I am 11 months from my BA in FILM and HDTV, and I am a semester away from an International Business Degree.

What do I do if a boy likes me who I don't like back? He wrote me notes in math class...had his friend give me one and he gave me one himself.
I keep complaining about this but its just annoying. I feel nothing...its feels like somethings missing whenever he looks at me...like somethings not right. I have NO feelings for him.
Everyone either tells me to stop complaining or
give him a chance but it's not that great when someone likes you and you DONT like then back. I don't really feel something when a boy likes me unless I like him the same way....so it's not that great. He still comes up to me and waves and says Hi *******! and I just wave and he like giggles or some weird thing. I mean...he's a really nice kid but nothings there...I feel like i want to cry...I have no clue why. Is this normal? I don't like him and I'm absoulutely sure about this...100%. I like someone else...and I don't know, whenever I see him my stomach twists and turns because I dont want him to give me another note or actually come up to me and ask me out...so I avoid him. I just don't want to deal with this...I don't want to turn him down...every girl turns him down and I feel so bad. But then again if I did go out with him nothing would be there anyway so there would be no point to that. I like another kid so much but i just have to get up the courage to at least smile at the boy.
errg! I'm so frustrated! I DON'T WANT ANY MORE NOTES! what do i do? Just tell him that you don't share the same feelings, It may be harsh but its best to tell him the truth rather than letting his crush on you go for a long time.

My oldest daughter's biological father lives in a different country and we haven't spoken to each other since I was 19. I am now 30 years old. I let my daughter use my maiden name in her birth certificate but have indicated there who her real dad is. I've been married for 8 years now and my husband has been great to my oldest daughter. My dilema right now is should my husband legaly adopt my daughter so she could have his last name. My daughter sometimes says she is the only one in the family that has a different last name and that she doesn't look like her brother and sister. She already knows that her father is different from her brother and sister and I told her that it is not important that she uses a different name but what's important is how much her dad and her siblings loves her very much. I just wanted to get opinion if it would matter if she changes her last name or not. (link)

Actuallt changing the name isn't going to matter much, but does she know her step father isn't her biological father? Because if she doesn't be ready for some fireworks because she might not take that to well, she will most likely be confused and angry because you didn't tell her the truth. But it is to my experience that if you don't tell your child when she grows up your going to have a harder time explaining to her why you waited so long. But if she already knows I suggest you change the name because something that small could make a huge impact in the future for the better and sometimes for the worst.

Well it doesn't seem as if you like him in a relationship form, so why don't you just ask if he wants to hang out and if you feel insecure ask someone that might know if he likes you so that if he does it isn't as hard to know.

I feel very sick lately.
after walking up the stairs or standing or walking for a bit i feel like i might vomit.
it hurts to breath in deep and i cough alot and it hurts my sides. alot. today after standing in the hall way, going downstairs and walking down the block i almost threw up, kept gaging and coughing which hurt so much i was doubled over, and it hurt to move.

You might actually just have a really bad flu, but I doubt thats the problem, so I suggest you go to the doctors because those symptoms are related to many illnesses, no one on this site can answer it for you.

OK, I was at school today and a fifth grader who I danced with at a dance ONCE asked me out through one of my friends. I'M AN EIGHTH GRADER!!!! I told my friend to tell him no thatnks and I think she DID carry on the correct message but I think he told everyone we were going out and now people are making fun of me because they think I'm going out with a fifth grade russian. I mean, I don't care that he's russian but isn't the girl supposed to know when she's going out with somebody and now I have a dance tonight and I'm afraid he's going to ask me to dance and I really don't want to hurt his feelings but I don't want to get any rumors started again. Start with small conversation, like randomly bump into him( Not physically, you know what I mean). Talk a little bit ask what he is doing this weekend, imply your free and if he doesn't ask you, ask him if you want to get together. Most people have a hard time saying Will you go on a date with me? SO ask do you want to do something this weekend? If he replies yes give him your number, and if you can write it on his hand because then he has no excuse not to call.

...I have my very *first* job interview coming up! And since it's my first one, I am very nervous. :) I want the job mostly because I need to raise some money- but I know that's not the answer that the manager will want to hear. Any suggestions about what to do for the interview, other than dressing up? ;)

Every employer knows your there for the money so you don't need to worry about saying that. Just tell them things like I want good training experience, list a few qualities that are true about yourself that apply to the job your applying for, say im also here to help make money for the company, easy to get a long with stuff like that. But don't forget to say you are a constant customer where your applying because they like to hire people that have been there before. be creative!!!!!!

My friend asked me if I was goth, I didnt know what to tell her. . I mean goths dont usually go right out and yell IM GOTH! But she asked and I always tell the truth, I said ya. She said ew ur weird. . . She asked me this online, she hasnt seen me for weeks. . and I have maracuously changed, not because this lifestyle has become popular, but because I found it deep down in my heart. Hello, let me ask you this do you know what a true goth is? Most people get confused with a goth examples: dark make up, black lip stick, dressed in black, pale faces, bondage belts, fish net stockings, lots of rings, high combat boots, ect. Goth is a life style a state of mind undering that the world is beautiful everything even the bad, and that death isn't something scary but something to embrace. It doesn't mean your a dark child or screwed up. I did the goth scene when I was young for years, and I lost friends left and right because their parents and because they thought I was weird as hell. But you know, What kind of friend can't accept you? Is it really worth changing who you are for someone that can't support your lifestyle?

okay. one of my best guy firends...yeah...i think im falling for him. ive been thinking about this for the past 3 months. we're really close and i really love spending time with him. my school's semi formal is coming up and id really REALLY like to ask him.
but i have some issues.

1. sometimes by adding love to the mix things change and they change for the best, if you break up of course you will have fought be then you will have a better understanding about who they are, it truly is one of the best relationships you might have.
2. If he is your bestfriend then you should have no trouble asking him to the dance, think of it as asking him to do something at your house but to a dance.
3. If he is your friend he probably won't say no unless he already has a date so I wouldn't worry about that. And think of it this way he probably doesn't know you like him so its kinda like a two way street, most best friends that like each other have no clue their friend likes them ( trust me.

Its all about connections, confidence, and sometimes just having the right stuff. Like in my high school I was popular because I worked in Recording studios and I could get into any club at any age, or concert for free with backstage.
People don't just become peopluar you have to work at it, you know? Becoming popluar is something that isn't easy, and sometimes its annoying. You would be surprised how things are different, all the eyes are on you. It has to do with image like im sure you know there are various groups right? And within the groups are leaders, thats what makes you popular. You have to be fun, outgoing, you can't be boring or always want to do the right thing.
. Good at sports, smart or jut people get respected because people fear who they are so its best to do what they are told. They aren't special just people think they are, and trust me its not the best being popular.
When it comes down to it you need to have a personality.

Yes you can still get pregnaut. Lets put it this way if your not on birth control or not taking the day after pill all other forms of contraceptions are no guarantee. 1 in every 5 condoms have a small whole, 3 in every 20 diaphrams are the same. So when they say the only safe sex is abstinence its telling you that is true. Condoms only lessen the chance of getting pregnaut they don't always prevent prenancy.
On and im not saying to go get on Birth control or get any pills to prevent pregnancy without your parents permission.

There is no way to tell if a person is right for you until you give them a try every person is different. Like my girlfriend right now does ballet, yoga and things like that. And me I rock climb, sky dive, I snowboard, skate board ect. And honestly this is the greatest relationship I've been in. SO give him a little bit of your world he might like it and you might like his, no one ever really knows until they try something.
Ex: My friend 3 years ago never wanted to try sushi said he would never like it, now its pretty much all he eats.

Im going to be honest what usually attracts people? "Looks of Course". SO most people go for looks but try dating him and then the feeling of looks doesn't seem to play the main part anymore because those are soon replaced with other feelings, that you can only get by dating for a while.

I can't sing loudly! Since 6th grade I've tried out for 5 musicals and I haven't made any of them because I can't project my voice. I've tried everything I know of, trying to sing from your diaphram, not your stomach..and NOTHING WORKS! I know I have a good voice, my chorus teacher even told me she couldn't give me a solo because I wasn't loud enough, but she really wanted to. Any tips on singing loudly would be greatly appreciated. Feel your neck, and move down till you find your colar bones where they connect to the front of the rib cage, I think. Move up an inch and apply a little pressure not to much and sing your voice will sound dull but it builds up your voice the more you do this. Or learn to control your are intake the more air you take in the higher your voice can get.

Okay, I'm only in the 8th grade but lately I've be thinking about my future and college. Well I've thought about it really hard and decide that I want to go to Yale University. The only problem is I don't know what requirments it takes to get excapted. Like how well do I have to do in grade school? What should my scores be? Any one who can give me any info would be great!

Yale, well if you don't want to be on a waiting list you need to have about a 3.0, be involved in at least 2 extra curricular activities every year, have an Act score of 25 and up, top reccomendations from the school. But let me ask you this, What do you plan on picking for your Career? Because there are some degrees that you cannot recieve at Yale, mainly technology its best to go to a specialized school because most universities don't update right away.
