Tell him the truth. My friend has personal expeirences from lying about her age -- it got her into a big mess with the guy and his friends.

I got all these ideas from a site. But they're my favorite, and really cute!!



Games:

1. Guess Mom's Tummy Size: (Materials- String or yarn and scissors) Have each woman pull the yarn to the size they believe would fit perfectly around the Mother-To-Be's center of her pregnant tummy. After everyone cuts their string, compare the results to the Mommy-To-Be's actual tummy. Give a prize to the woman who is the most close! This is a baby shower favorite.


2. How Many Baby Items Can You Name: (Materials- pad of paper and pen for each woman). Have each woman write down as many baby products as they can name (bottle, blanket, pacifier, etc) within 5 minutes. Sure it is easy at the beginning, but towards the last few minutes, the women will start racking their brains for more :) Give a prize to the woman who gets the most baby products named!

3. Guess The Gerber's: (Materials - Gerber's infant food, pads of paper and pens). Take the labels off of the baby food jars and have the women at the baby shower guess the food (carrots, peas, sweet potato). Most fun to play up to 10 jars of different kinds of foods. If there is a tie, blindfold the women and have them taste one of the jars and guess the right flavor to win their prize.


4. Place The Baby On The Mommy: (Materials- Cutouts of a baby with tape and blindfold). Another one of our favorite baby shower games is the baby shower version of Pin The Tail on the Donkey. Blindfold each participant and then give them a paper baby to then approach the mom and place the baby as close to the tummy as possible. The one who gets closest to placing the paper baby on the pregnant tummy wins.


5. Guess the baby item: (Materials- any baby products and blindfold). A bag of baby items are placed in front of the mother-to-be for her to take one item out at a time blindfolded and tell her baby shower guests what item she has in her hands. This is really fun baby shower game when you choose some crazy baby toys or products.


6. Baby Sock Match Game (Materials - different color brand new baby socks and stopwatch) - Have two people at a time race to see who can match the most baby socks. Take 10 pairs of baby socks for each baby shower participant and give them 30 sec to match as many as they can. Make sure to separate the baby's socks before playing. A great way to have fun and also stock the mommy-to-be with new socks. Thanks to a baby shower visitor for this idea!

15/f I want my arm hair removed, but I don't want to shave it off, because I heard it comes back thicker and darker and faster, and I also hear these stories about people who have shaved their arms really regret it. Since waxing your legs after a while, it doesn't really grow back would the same technique happen to your arms? I've tried bleaching and stuff and its not like I have a lot of arm hair its just long pieces of it, I even tried trimming my arm hair lol.

So my question is has anyone had their arm hair waxed and how did it work, cause I really want to wax it, but I don't want to regret waxing it. (ps. I'm talking about arm hair not arm pit hair)

Don't shave. I've tried, and my mom noticed and explained to me what will happened when it grows back, and it grows back badly and worse.

Definitely get them waxed.
Talk to the local salon about trimming, bleaching, and this stuff professionally, because waxing IS indeed painful!

How can you tell the difference betwen herpees and an infected hair!?!?

An ingrown hair will have a hair follicle trapped and/or infected.

Herpes is caused by a virus. There will be a reddening, then a blister with clear fluid inside, then it will burst, and usually there will be a very painful red mini-crater left in place.

I am completly stumped here. I'm a thirteen year old girl who has a crush on this boy who goes to my school. He is tall, cute, and really popular. He's even rich! Since the beginning of the year he's been nice to me, and sometimes we fool around. But it wasn't until recently that I realized I had feelings for him. Things have gotten pretty crazy since then. I've made up a number and attached his name to it on my cell phone( not even knowing what his real number is), and I'll look at it sometimes. Just thinking about him makes me feel all jumpy and jitery inside, and here's the weird part: I've even had dreams about him saying he likes me, or that he wants to be my boyfriend. MORE THAN ONCE! I know that I like him and everything, but my feelings seem kinda serious and I am only just a kid. Why am experiencing these strong feelings?

The reason why is because you like him. Hes nice to you, therefore, hes special to you. Its normal to feel that way about people, most people do. Just becasue your a kid doesn't mean you can't feel this way.

I think you should make a move. Even if you know he won't like you, get it out into the open that you like him. When you like someone, sometimes they will like you back when you tell them you have feeelings for them.

Im 14 years old and turning 15 soon. I'm going to high school next year.
I'm fully grown with big boobs and I got my period in 5th grade which made me want to question whether or not I was growing anymore because I heard that if you have had your period for more than 2 yrs, you basically stopped growing.
I went to the doctor and I found out that I'm not growing anymore. I'm not even 5 feet! I'm 4'11. "I was one inch away from being a legal midget? My "friends" make fun of me saying that.
There isnt a day that goes by that I dont hear that I'm short. I know it shouldnt bother and it doesnt all the time, but hearing it all the time can make me feel bad, you know? I tell them all the time to stop and that you know it hurts but maybe that wasnt a good idea since now they know that makes me feel bad?
I should start wearing heels right? One problem! No shoe store has my size because the regular size is 6 and that's too big for me :( So.. I dont know what to do. Isnt getting customized shoes is expensive? Do any places have size 5 for women?
What should I do? It's probably not that big of a deal but I just found out so I'm still sensitive about the subject and I already tried letting my friends and family know that it bothers me but nothing has changed! Please help! =)
P.s. I'm sorry for it being long but i would really appreciate anyone's help!

Unfortunatly, I don't think you are going to grow any more.
And, Unfortunatly, there isn't any way to make your self taller.
The best thing you can do is just try and ignore everyone -- make the best out of being short. You don't hit your head on everything :)
Try wearing heals, or wedges that will make you gain a few inches.
Tell your friends also to back off -- explain to them how you don't like being called short, and to start treating you like their friends.
Of course, most shoe stores have 5s!

Nothing. My period was very regular, however, my friends period was just like yours -- its called "Irregular". It's very very normal for the first few years.
