We have three computers in my house, all of which are in the same room. I find myself becoming distracted because they are in the basement where my sister plays with her friends and watches movies. my father is emotionally, & sometimes physically abusive to me and my brother.
it doesn't help that my mother is out of town more than half of the time, and whenever she leaves, sometimes even while she's home, he gets drunk and yells at me and my brother, berates me, and will occasionally throw stuff at me.
I've tried telling him to stop, I've tried saying how I feel, and I've even gone to the police and my mother. Nothing solves it.
He puts on a normal face for the rest of the world, and since I live in a fairly small town and he's a doctor, the community passes it off as me seeking attention.
