sprinkle them with bleach or paint (in a bathroom or some place with things that wont stain. wear old clothes and use a tarp or newspaper), and use a steak knife or any knife with a serated edge to give them a distressed look.

Maybe trim a couple of little holes, and tear them yourself, there is certain ways you can bleach them to make them look oldish.
Stick some safety pins on there somewhere, or even inside creating a rippled effect. Good Luck <3Marizzlex
