so this is a random question but about how often does a normal pretty girl get looked at from guys? (the answer doesnt have to be perfect and dont tell me it depends on the type or smth :P )
i dont mean girls who look like supermodels though.

Geez I feel vain answering this question :b lol anyways, the typical pretty girl can get "looked at" anywhere. Usually and almost ALWAYS while walking down the street. So yeah, the typical attractive girl gets looked at quite often :]

I was studying at a cafe today, when the guy next to me (just for the sake of talking to me), asked if I knew how to fill out information for some computer thing...I said I didn't, and resumed with my work. Less than a minute later, he turned around and asked me, "are you single?" and I replied, "I don't see why that matters." I felt a little awkward, so I got up and left the area, and under his breath he said " it's just a question." Was my answer/reaction a little uncalled for or rude? Now, to clarify, I don't care about how he felt, but I want to know for future reference...I mean, guys/men ask little questions all the time, and sometimes women want to know how to respond. I do not want to be rude, but I don't want to be a pushover either. Anyway, any advice/comments are greatly appreciated! By the way, I am 23/F.

I don't think it was rude. It was straight forward so you didn't lead him on, which is good. He was probably just pouting because he was rejected lol :)

there is his kid who went to my school this year. he moved from germany but lived in america before so knew english. well he was in 4 of my classes and at first i HATED this kid. he was sooo annoying and a show off. but then he grew on me and we became friends. later i started liking him. by spring i was IN LOVE with him and would do anything for him if he asked. i got the impresion that he liked me too but i wasnt sure because he could have any girl he wanted...so why me? but anyway after the last day of school when i texted him he replied"save your minutes. dont text me." i was crushed and furious. i sent him a message that said some VERY VERY rude things and now i wish i didnt. im sure he hates me and he wont reply to ANYTHING i send him. i understand he doesnt like me like that but i think i lost his friendship...

Well, i'm going to give you my honost opinion on the guys you're telling me about:

Andy- well, it sounds like you need to be friends with him again if you even want a chance with him. This one might take a while because first you have to get him to forgive you and stuff.

Phillip- He sounds pretty good. Sounds like you guys like each other, plus he's already your friend.

Andew- um, online? If he lives in cali, I don't suggest this. It would be a long distance relationship! He could cheat on you really, really easily.

Tyrel- ur, not sure about the age difference, but it sounds like your friend is sort of pressuring you into liking him. Don't go out with him unless you're sure.

So this upcoming fall I will be starting my senior year. In the yearbooks, every senior is allowed to put three quotes. Whatever they want. I was thinking I'd have one quote about life/life lesson/etc and then two funny quotes. Does anyone have any quotes, please don't give me sites because I can just google and I have, but can't find any good ones :/. Even if their not about life or funny quotes, can you think of any good ones?

There are two guys which I am attracted to for different reasons. One of which I don`t even know but WiLL know come the end of summer, the other a very sweet guy. Being a bit of a risk taker, my heart says go for the one I don`t know once he returns. My head says the sweet guy would make a great date for all of the grad events and I actually know he likes me and we are able to get along well.

I have made pro & con lists for them, myself with them, & the benefits of having a relationship with either of them. However, typical me, I have decided that I wouldn`t hurt either of them (or myself) nearly as much if I chose neither & separated myself from both of them completely.

Why am I backing down if I can`t really go wrong with either option? My original intention was to have a bit of a fun summer 'fling' (meaning not a serious relationship) with the sweet guy, but after chatting with him tonight I realized I`d really hurt him if I did that then put my attention into getting to know the other guy. What are my options? In your opinion, which option is the best? Thanks so much for the insight, it`s greatly appreciated! =)

hm, looks like you've thought through this a lot :) Just remember, no matter what any one says, it's YOUR choice. Do what makes you happy. I think you're backing down because you're just a nice person. You don't want to hurt either one of them. And that's ok, if it's what you want to do. Well, if I were in your predicament, I would go for the sweet guy. Reason? He likes you, you two know each other, and he's sweet! Or, you could just have a summer fling with both of them and then choose when the summer's over? :] either way, goodluck, hope you choose the right one!

This isn't really a problem but all of a sudden...recently, I've been really emotional.

Like I'll cry when a movies sad or when someone says something sweet or something...or even when people are being really bitchy I can just feel the waterworks coming on...

ok, first go out and buy gauges for 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, and then 8. I suggest 8 because, they are noticible, but not to big. Just put in the 18's one night. it should stop being sore after a couple days. Then put in the 16's. and so on and so on. That's what I did anyway :]

Ok so i got my iPod in January and it has been working just fine but know i try to plug it into my computer and recharge and Under my devices the Ipod i con won't show up and it won't charge and when i plug my Ipod it it won't event go to the recharging screen or synchronising screen so what should i do

That happened to mine too. Unplug it and hold down the center button and the play button. This should turn it off. Turn it back on (play button) and try plugging it in then. If this doesn't work, you can try using another computer, letting it just rest for a few days, or even returning it. Goodluck!

Well, you're pretty lucky :] you don't come across guys like your boyfriend so often.

To me, it sounds like this is going way to fast. I mean, you're not in college yet! I think you should go to college. If he really loves you and you really love him, you two can wait :] Plus, that means if you eventually get to have a baby and start a family later in life, it'll be all that more special! So, in my opinion, just take it easy. It's ok to be together and whatnot, but I really think you should just slow down :] goodluck!

Well, at your age, yes I think you should use protection. It may feel weird, but at least you won't get pregnant. I mean, if you're honostly ready for a baby, then do it how you want. Just be ready for the consequences, because the pullout method actually doesn't work. It's just a myth. Like I said, it's your choice, but just be ready for any consequences! Goodluck!

so im in a relationship where i only get to see my boyfriend in school. Well....there is a way that I did it, since I had a problem similair to this. It might take a week or so though, for him to get the message. The only thing you have to do is be really "sad" for about a week. If someone, especially him, asks what's wrong, tell them you're "just thinking". Don't tell them anything else. Then, after a while of being in this "sad" state, talk to him and say something about how it just isn't working and you feel really bad because you like him a lot but it's just not like the past relationships you've had. He should have gotten the message during the "thoughtful" week, so he won't be as bad hurt. It's still kind of mean, but it will kindof weaken the blow.

If you don't want to do that, you can always get him to break up with you. That would work to.

I'm sixteen/f and ever since I was in 7th grade(now in 11th) I've wanted to get my lip pierced. I dont really look like the typical people who get them done. Like I dont have that whole scene thing going on. I'm blonde and blue eyed and rarely wear any type of make up. My friends aren't really open to it, so when I ask them what they think it will look like, they say its gross or that I just shouldn't do it cause I'll look like a freak.
ALSO, i dont have any type of piercings. I dont have ears or belly button or anything. I am extremely afraid of needles. They are my definitely my biggest fear, with the second being blood. This is definitely the biggest problem with piercngs for me.
So i have a couple questions. Does it hurt a lot? Is there a lot of blood? Are there any techniques to doing it without needles? If not is there anyway to do it really quickly? Does it hurt to change them? Do you think I should get it done?

It feels like you biting your tongue/cheek. Except on your lip of course :] There will be blood, but i'm not quite sure how much, considering there are many possibilities that could change this factor. There are no techniques, none that I've ever heard of anyway, that will work without needles. Swelling usually occurs 2-3 days after the piercing, and this swelling can last 7-10 days. Also, after the procedure, DO NOT USE ASPIRIN!!!It promotes bleeding. Use Tylenol instead. It should take 2-3 months to heal, in which you can not take out the piercing or else it might grow back. After it heals, it shouldn't hurt to take it out and put other ones in. Only get it done if you honostly want to. If you're scared, or just aren't ready, it's ok to wait. :] Goodluck!

i met someone this school year. he sits in next to me in one of my classes. hes so fun and we talk a lot. during class, after class. we wave in the hall and say hi. he's always got something to say even if it's random and has nothing to do with anything. hes always the one to say hi to me first. we laugh and joke and touch sometimes, in like a joking manner.he seems to flirt with me, I mean thats how it comes off at lease. I think you should keep doing what your doing :] sounds like everything is going fine, and you're both happy. Besides, if word gets out that you're asking around to find out if he likes you, who knows what his girlfriend will do. Basically, you let him know you're interested, but don't cause any drama. If you REALLY must find out if he likes you, you can try this; ask a REALLY close friend, one that can keep secrets and you trust, and ask her to go up to this guy and be like "you and her are so cute together, do you like her or something?" :] that should work. Prom is on Saturday and I'm going in a limo with about 5 other couples and my single friend is coming with us too. She doesn't know anyone in the limo and neither do I, so I feel comfortable her coming. She's not like a really good friend of mine, I've only known her a few weeks.

Anyways, my boyfriend and her have been texting about prom just talking about what we're going to be doing and stuff. When I was looking on his phone I saw that he texted her saying, "What kind of dress are you going to get, I bet you're going to look real pretty!" and "I wouldn't mine escorting two FINE ass ladies to prom." He's MY boyfriend. Is that okay that he's talking to her like that? Because in my eyes it's not when I don't really know her that well.
