I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

family.you just dont know what ive been
through. its untakable. i just turned 13
a couple of months ago and im too young
to be dealing with this. my parents are
cheap selfish people and they wont buy
me ANY clothes. and thats against the law
you know. they have to provide me with clothing
but they dont. i already have 2 jobs but obviously
they cant pay for all the clothes i want.
all of my clothes have rips in them and they
arent even summer they are longsleeves and i
think im gunna fricking sweat to death in them.
this just isnt fair to me. i already pay for
EVERYTHING i get but clothing? thats just not
right. and theres no money problems in my
family whatsoever because my moms a lawyer and
my dad is the vice president of a bank. and how
selfish can they be to not even provide necessity
item to their daughter. im 13 i just dont think i
should be going through this. its ridiculous!

never kill myself but ughh my parents ruin my life.

Your life sounds so horrible!

Your parents have a reason for doing these things to you. Hollister and A&F are EXPENSIVE. Sorry but $27 dollars for a shirt and $75 for jeans is a little expensive. Try shopping at places that are cheaper like DEB or Wet Seal. That way you can afford your clothes & other things as well. You don't need to designer clothes to look nice. There's nothing wrong with Wal*Mart or things on clearance.

They're not doing anything but teaching you a lifelong lesson & you need to get over it. Instead of complaining, see it from your parents point of view. They're doing this in your best interest & teaching you something valuable that not many kids GET to learn. I don't even understand how you have two jobs at 13 years old. Most places don't hire til 16-17. Either way, stop complaining & love the things you've got. You've got clothes, food & a warm house. Most people don't even have that. Cherish your life instead of getting mad because you don't get everything you want.

okay well i'm supposed to be going to the concert tomorrow night ( june 3) to see bury your dead, stick to your guns, since the flood, and suicide silent (i think thats what the name is?) and i know it was oringinally at the cabot street pub in chicopee but a friend of mine told me it was moved to the water front.

As for the concert & it's crazyness, it all depends. I'm not sure what you would call Bury Your Dead but I would call them either Hardcore or Metal. That means people will be throwing down & going while which means there's a chance you or someone else could get hurt. Try to stay out of the pits & just enjoy the music.

i love my girlfriend and we tell eachother everything. but lately ive noticed alot of black and blue bruises like HUGE bruises on her collar bone, legs, arms, ribs, face and back. sometimes like ocasionaly she will come to school with a black out. im worried. i alwyas ask her where they came from but she says its nothinng. and i know for a fact that her parents dont abuse her. but im afraid people will start thinking i did this too her. and i dont want that i love her and would never hurt her. but i wanna know where shes gettingg these from. what should i do?

Her parents could be doing this to her [whether you think you know them so well or not]. The people you least expect to do these things are the ones who actually do it.

It could be your girlfriend doing that to herself for attention. If it's not her, does she have any siblings? Are there problems at home?

Whatever this may be, you need to turn her in to somebody you trust so they can get her help. Someone's hurting her & you need to make sure they don't do that anymore.

i need to do something. my life is going down the drain i need to self harm. i cant cut myself, it hurts too mcuh and i cant puke;. i dont want to hear that self-harm isnt the way. i dont care. does anyone out there self harm anyother way? any ideas?? it will make me feel better.

Nobody here is going to tell you how to hurt yourself and if they do -- they're going to get banned for being an idiot.

Instead of hurting yourself because things aren't going your way, try crying or writing. They both help to vent & they both are effective ways to get your feelings out. Yelling helps too.

There's no reason to hurt yourself, so stop thinking that it's the best way to control yourself. It's one of the dumbest things you can do to yourself & this is the stupidest thing you can ask someone.

Is there any way to have your period go faster? Im going on an overnight trip with my class in a few days and im on my period. but it will be really uncomfortable. HELP!

No there isn't. But it depends on when you got your period. If you just got it today, it'll probably still be with you on the time you go for your trip but it won't be as bad, and if you've had it already, it could be going away soon.

I would think both opinions. I would feel sorry for you because your boyfriend is doing this to you & I'd think you were dumb for not seeing it.

When you give him a second chance, I'd think you were an even bigger idiot than before and I'd say you're too nice.
