Hi! I'm thinking of getting contacts. I have been wearing glasses for 8 years, and am unhappy with the marks that they leave behind. Numerous friends of mine have said I should get contacts, and I know some people that already do! I'd love to know what brand of contacts are the most durable and easy to wear, and any stories, guidelines, or precautions I should know about would be gratly appreciated! Thank you!

I don't know the brand of my contacts but whatever your eye doctor gives you should work just perfectly! But make sure you just don't sleep in them or else the contacts might go like in the back of your eye ball (if that makes any sense..?)And also don't scratch your eye with contacts or else that'll go in the back of your eyeball too! But I would say that contacts are way better than glasses!

I like this guy. Well my friend likes him too. The thing is they're sorta going out. What happened was they started going out but my friend dumoed him. I was so happy I might have a chance and he could tell I wanted to go out with him. I think he wanted to go out with me too. But then my friend told me that she didn't mean it and she's afarid he won't say yes now. I think he will. Now I'm kinda sad but happy for my friend. I don't know I have mixed feelings about this. I don't want to mess up their relationship by telling him. What do I do?

Maybe you two could make a deal to where none of you get the guy. I mean, it's just a guy and either way one of you is going to be upset. Sorry, but that's the only thing that I could think of...

If I were, tell her. Talk to her. If you don't, then you're going to have your whole high school career with her doing all this to you. Be honest but not mean. Just tell her that you don't really appreciate her lecturing you or ripping a hat off your head! I wouldn't have sex with him if I were you. You're only 14 and you have your whole life ahead of you! And yeah , maybe you two will get married, but what happens if you don't and you guys break up but you already had sex? It will leave you so heartbroken for the rest of your life! Sex means giving yourself to that person completely and totally! It's a huge step in a relationship!

The way you tell him or react to this situation depends on his age... I mean if he's way older that you, then you can't just be up front and tell him! But if he's around your age, then totally tell him! Forget about what your sister thinks! But you might not want to tell her because she might put in a bad word for you!

Ok, me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 2 weeks now. Tell him that you don't want to make the first move! He should be able to understand that! And tell him that you don't want your first kiss to be some big show for all his buddies to watch! A first kiss with that person should be totally special.

It doesn't really hurt. It just feels weird. It'll take less than an hour hopefully. But you might want to actually wear your retainer or else your teeth will move back to where it was originally at.

okay there is this guy, matt, and he's a- well- a bit of a slut. we are good mates and last year he got with my friend. not sex or anything but fooled around. i was totally cool with that coz he's a nce guy and everything. but a month or so later i realised i had feelings for him. i told my friend and she was like OMG go for it!!! he had a party, so after a few drinks to soften the blow, i told him i liked him. he was like. my fingernails are pretty long...but VERY thin! everytime i go to do something they either break or bend easy! i want hard findernails and not for them to bend as easy anymore...does anyone know how i can do this?

Go to a drugstore and go to the nail section and there should be some strengthening (sp) stuff. Or you can go to a nail parlor and ask them!

Im 16, and i just got diagnosed with genital warts. Its a big shock to me. iv had a steady boyfriend now for 7 months, and we both have it. I dont knwo who got it first, but anyway; I wanted to know how long does it take for it to go away with, the medicine I bought? I got a perscription for Aldara, and i want to know how long it will take to make them go away? and if theres any way to make them stay away?

With genital warts, there's really no sure thing that it will go away. It can go away completely. But it could also go away and then keep on comming back. Or it could get even bigger! Google it and read up on it. I just did becuse i was curious myself. The sites that i read gives you some treatments like lasers or chemicals.
