When you get your braces taken off, it does not hurt, well for me it didn't. It may hurt when your orthodontist polishes your teeth to get the remaining glue off but that's all. It usually takes about 20+ minutes to get your braces taken off.

Aw man you're lucky! I don't get mine off for about another year. But my friend recently had hers removed, and she said it took about half an hour to 45 minutes. She also said that it didn't really hurt much to get them off. She also told me that her teeth felt really slimy afterwards. Sorry but that's all I know!
Hope I helped

i got my braces off like a month ago...ive had them on for a very long time...and no it dosent hurt very much its just like a pulling feeling because there are pulling off the braces but they then have to use this tool that scrapes off the dried on cement on your teeth and it just makes your teeth get really cold and its an uncomfortable sensation, i didnt enjoy that part, but it takes them like a half an hour to do them including x-rays and stuff so it dosent take to long...hope i could help...~danni

It doesn't really hurt. It just feels weird. It'll take less than an hour hopefully. But you might want to actually wear your retainer or else your teeth will move back to where it was originally at.

It doesn't hurt at all. It takes around an hour or two to take your braces off because they also do a little cleaning to get all the glue and such off. After you get them off, you'll probably miss your braces. It's hard to see yourself without braces. When I got mine off, my teeth looked so big. Just because I only saw haft of them. You'll get used to it and I'm sure you'll have a beautiful smile!

It doesn't hurt to get your braces off at all. It takes them probably about 20 minutes to a half an hour to take them off. One thing that might hurt is when you get a retainer and you don't wear it for a long time and try to get it back in. You're teeth will have shifted and the retainer is basically keeping them back into the same spot where they were when you got your braces off. Hope this helped.
