Does anybody know any good places to download music other than kazaa and limewire. I use to have limewire but my dad reformated my computer and it won't let me download it again. Any help is appreciated.
ITunes. But its not free, its 99 cents per song, which isn't that bad. You can get the 15 dollar cards at target. Wal-mart also has downloads for 88 cents each.

okay idk how i did it..but i managed to take the volume icon away from my taskbar icons. how do i put it back?
Honestly, you dont need it. You can go "control panel" and then "sound and sound devices", i usually just use the sound control on the speakers w/ the volume turned all the way up on the computer.

My problem is whenever I am trying to change my IM soud for AIM it gets half-way done in the loading bar and just stops. Then i press it again and I know I shouldnt because it doesn't help and it says that its done then I test my sound or IM my friends and it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to make it go faster/completely load? I'll rate. Thanks.
Well, first off; paying for AIM expressions,well its not worth it. If you are behind a firewall or a wireless network, then it might not ever load; Some wireless hubs only allow so much at a time.
You could try using a smaller sound file.
Try changing the format of the file to a lesser quality so that it will be a smaller file, say MP3 to WAV. I think you can do this w/ windows media. If not, you could probly get freeware stuff that will let you or download a codec for windows media.

1. in windows media player, go to "tools" and then click "search for media files" or just press F3
2. Find the file that has these music files and click all of them and drag them to windows media player.

I have two questions, one i think should be pretty easy and the other one might be tough. How do I make a picture the right size for an AIM icon, and how can I make my icon cycle through a series of pictures and/or messages.

my friends computer is screwy. when she tries to boot it up it beeps loadly in succesion and says Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \system32\ntoskrnl.exe
now ive tried doing both setup and recovery both lead to the same message. i also tried using a boot disk and it still showed me that. there is no recovery CD because its all on the D drive but i dont have access to it. its on windows XP by the way.

What is the best kind of RAM to get for a computer. I have a AMD Athlon processor, 40G, 240 RAM computer. I want to put another strip of RAM into it because its been running slow. Ok, so I work in an arcade, and I am a huge DDR player. We have a decent DDR following here and I believe a DDR machine in my humble place of work would earn more than enough to make up for the initial cost. But, the problem lies in the initial cost. A nice, doubles DDR machine can cost upwards of $8k. We're a nickel arcade, and that is a HUGE chunk of money. But, should we take the fall and buy a DDR, I think we could make up for it. My boss loves DDR too, so we really want one. We've had a DDR solo before, but those are utter crap, so we eventually sold it in favor of a Dance Maniax 2nd Mix. We already have a nice amount of people just playing it, and it's been here for a while. Not only would the DMX players play DDR, but we would attract the other DDR players in town. Our machine would be cheapest because hey, we're a nickel arcade. it would also be the best well-kept. I would make sure of that myself.
So there's the lengthy explanation of the situation. The real question is, what DDR mix would do best? Of course Extreme is the newest, but there are 2 others in town. They are also the most expensive. Would it be better to buy say, a 4th mix Plus or 5th Mix, let it run for a while until people get tired of it, and then upgrade to Extreme?
If you don't play DDR do not bother to answer this question. Especially not with "u ddr fag hahaha where are my pants" or "idk but i hope someone can help! xxooxxooxxooxxooxxoosdfgsgsg"

When i burn my music to a CD-RW, my computer closes the cd, there for making it a cd-r. how can i stop it from closing the cd?
Sounds to me like you have a driver problem.
Make sure you have the correct drivers, and it could also be the software. And if you know for sure that it isn't closed, then you need to get a CD-RW burner.

Ok, The mini ipod is only 4 gigs, its a little bit smaller and it doesnt hold as much. For 50 bucks more you get 5 TIMES AS MUCH SPACE on a regular 20 gig ipod. Bottom line
