okay idk how i did it..but i managed to take the volume icon away from my taskbar icons. how do i put it back?

I have a HP pavillion i think 2000??

windows 95

Honestly, you dont need it. You can go "control panel" and then "sound and sound devices", i usually just use the sound control on the speakers w/ the volume turned all the way up on the computer.

Click on Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment, and it should be there... If not just make a new shortcut that points to "%SystemRoot%System32sndvol32.exe"

Right click on your taskbar, click properties in the menu, click "Customize..." in the lower right-hand corner. I should show you current items in the task bar and past items that were in the taskbar. Just select the volume icon and choose "always show" from the drop-down menu. Unfortunately, I have no clue as to what to do if that volume icon isn't listed. Hopefully someone will have more help for you and/or my suggestion works.
