buddy icons

Question Posted Sunday August 22 2004, 4:46 pm

I have two questions, one i think should be pretty easy and the other one might be tough. How do I make a picture the right size for an AIM icon, and how can I make my icon cycle through a series of pictures and/or messages.

Adobe Photoshop is how you can get the pic. small enough. It needs to be 64 pixels.

Well the answer to both is have a good graphics editor that you can make animated GIFs with. Basicaly to resize you go to the 'image' or 'edit' menue and choose 'resize image' or 'scale image', then chose what size you want it.
To make animated GIFs is a little harder, but basically you make then using a series of frames, and then you mesh those frames together in the right order. I've only done it once myself, so I'm not exactly conversant with how its done.
I would recomend Adobe Photoshop to do animated GIFs with.
Have fun :)
