i want alot of honest opinions on these 2 questions.
1)what do you consider a girl that has had sex since the age of 13? Had another bf when she was 14 then had sex with another guy (cheated on her bf) she barely knows the 2nd time they hung out together?

2)what do you consider a guy that screws a girl he hardly knows the 2nd date, knowing she has a bf?? will rate 5s for honesty!! (link)
1) She's dishonest. Definitely dishonest. I simply do not understand why she'd want to do that. Also, perhaps she's careless. Does she care if she gets pregnant? Does she care if she gets an STD or an STI? Does she care if she gives someone an STD or STI? Does she care that she's hurting her boyfriend? I could call her a slut or a whore, but that does not seem appropriate. More like undereducated. She needs to take it easy, slow dow, be a kid. Get her priorities straight.

2) The guy, a player. Not all guys are like that - of this I'm sure. There are guys like that because I've had them try to go out with me. (Not a chance!) He's also dishonest and undereducated. Trying to be a grown-up when he's still a kid. Kind of careless also, about the girl's other boyfriend's feelings and if she gets pregnant, or STDs or STIs... he needs to slow down too, and be a kid. Good old fashioned fun. Movies, music, bike riding, checkers, sleepovers.

I hope this answers your question.

So, I want to die my hair but the only problem is that I have dark black hair and I have light skin and I am a black girl . I have brown eyes and they're dark and I don't know if I should dye my hair brown (light brown) or red. One guy actually told me to die it red at the tips can you believe that but I really do favor red. What do you think. Please just help me because I've never done anything like this before and mom isn't any help at all.

(link)
Hmm... well I think brown would be pretty, but so would tipping your hair in red. I'm doing that tomorrow, tipping my hair. But I'm doing mine purple. ;) Red would be really pretty with your dark hair, but light brown would look pretty with your complexion.

If I were you, I'd tip it red. But that's just an opinion, and it's biased too. Yes, my opinion is biased. You know why? Because

- I love red
- I've dyed my hair red before
- Red is kinda something you don't see a whole lot
- It's kinda wild, but not dangerous
- Red is just cool

... see? Brown would be pretty too, though. I'll admit it. I would still go with red. :)

Hi.

I am 14 years old, and lets just say my name is S. I am a girl, and a diabetic. I sometimes don't get my periods, its irregular and have went to the doctor about it. They said theres nothing they can do except give me birth control, which my mom did not want me on. I have about 9 or 10 lumps (size of tiny pimples) around my left and right nipples, and soreness around my breast. I really do not know if this is breast cancer related, but I am too afraid to go to the doctor. I am afraid to show anyone my body, so I won't go to a family member, or like I said, a doctor.. can one of you please give me some advice before I go to drastic measures such as my MOM?
sincerely,
S. (link)
S,

I understand your concern. However, these "bumps" you're feeling and noticing are normal. If they're the size of tiny little pimples and they're around the areola of your breasts (the pink skin right around the nipple), it's normal. Most (if not all) girls, and some guys too, get these bumps at one point or another. Breast cancer lumps are larger, usually hard, and are about the size of ping-pong balls.

The reason your breasts are sore is because they are growing. This is, in fact, quite normal.

Your periods will be irregular because you're young. This happens to every teenaged girl. Your body is still changing, and is still new to the whole idea of periods. It doesn't really know what it's doing, and it will be irregular. It's normal.

Don't worry, I'm extremely shy. EXTREMELY! Especially about my body. I don't feel comfortable wearing a swimsuit without a T-shirt and shorts. Yeah, kinda extreme, but that's how I am. When I started my period, my mom actually wanted to show me how to use a tampon. I laughed at her. I can do some things by myself! Haha.. anyway.

If you're still unsure about the 'pimple bumps,' you can tell your mom about them. But I'm quite sure you're normal. Because if having pimple sized bumps and sore breasts means breast cancer, then I think hundreds of girls would have breast cancer too. Besides, the chances of you getting breast cancer at fourteen are almost nothing. You have nothing to worry about. :)

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I might be getting my period and I'm really scared! I started off having just a little bit of disscharge about three years ago, now its getting thicker and thicker. Am I getting my first period, if not should I have a gynecological exam?
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!
(link)
I think you're just fine. If you want you can go to a gynecologist, but most girls don't do that until they're about to become sexually active or they're 18.

You'll probably get your first period pretty soon, because discharge becomes heavier as you come up on your first period. Altohough sometimes the discharge will go away between periods, most of the time it will not. Sometimes it's even heavier. You're fine.

Stay prepared for your first period. You never know when it'll show up... I know I was really lucky to be home when I got mine, because I was not prepared. Keep a pad / tampon, extra underwear and a jacket (to tie around your waist if it gets on your pants) or extra pants with you at school, perhaps in your locker. :)

this is really mebarassing but..you know how people make jokes about buttt hair? is it normal to have it? (link)
There is absolutely nothing abnormal about having this so called 'butt hair.' If it bothers you, shave it. Although, I don't see how it's anyone else's business. Don't let anyone make you upset. You're completely normal. :)

My hair is curly. Not like loose curls but like really curly. Anyways my sister has the same type of hair but a little bit curlier. She dyed her hair and also straightens it like on every saturdays(cuz she parties and stuff) and she sometimes straighten it on weekdays. Since she dyed her hair, her hair looks really...cripsy. But i don't know.

I want to dye my hair but i don't even straighten it! Should it be okay? Because my sister says that i shouldn't because it would add alot of damage. But i really want to. And i don't think that`ll it be TOTALLY crispy like my sisters because she straightens it more than i do. And i hardley ever straighten. Like..HARDLY!! Do you think it would be a good idea for me to dye my hair? And what would be some good products for my hair not to end up like my sisters even if i don't straighten it?

PLEASE HELP ME!!! IF YOU ARE TOTALLY CONFUSED THEN PLEASE READ IT AGAIN!!! I HAVE UNTIL THE WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EASY 5's!!

i ♥ you !! (link)
Oh, you should be perfectly fine! I dye my hair, and mine is fairly curly. It's loose curls though. And I don't dye my hair natural colors. Purple is the color lately. :) Anyway. I do straighten my hair, but it does not interfere with the color.

If you do color your hair with a "real" dye, I would suggest using a really heavyweight conditioner while you've got dyed hair. The conditioner will put back into your hair what the color took out. Aveda makes a really good moisturizing conditioner.

You should be just fine with dyed hair.

Have fun, and look pretty too! :)

is it bad to put a warm/hot wash cloth over your eyes for like more than 5 minutes? idk why it would be but im just wondering. (link)
Ignore AskMelissa. Actually, if you have a pimple on the bottom of your eyelid (like where you'd put eyeliner), they tell you to put hot compresses on it. That's just a hot rag. No, it's fine. As long as the water isn't hot enough to burn your skin. :)
-FunnyCide

ok so this might sound gross but i have had my period for like 2 years now and i am 13 and so well always after my period the WHOLE month till it starts again i have to wear a thick panty liner cause it all comes out like the goop does. the white goop. it dosnt smell or anything though please help i rate high (link)
You're fine. The "goop" that you're talking about is discharge. Every girl gets it. Usually it lightens up after your period, but with some girls it's heavier after their period. You just have heavier discharge. Try changing your underwear right before bed and when you wake up in the mornings. Wear a panty liner and you should be fine. I don't know if there's anything to stop the "goop," but I don't think there is. If it's really bothering you, talk to your mom and maybe see an OB / GYN, but you're fine. It's normal.

13/m
after gym i sweat a lot. you can see the sweat from my armpits through my shirt. whats a good deodorant or sumthing else that can help me sweat less (espeically my armpits) (link)
Degree deoderant / antipersperant is wonderful. Even for athletes, Degree works very well. The only thing that you could really do besides use a good deoderant / antipersperant is wear two shirts - which will make you hotter. - shrug -

Righto, my monthly visit (period) just came by again. It's weird, it's really uncomfortable and it hurts just to walk.. I was just wondering how can I make my cramps a little better and any hints/tips on periods? Thanks (link)
Cramps are the worst. I feel your pain - literally. Of course, if you only get cramps during your period, consider yourself lucky. I have them the week before and the week of. Yeah. Two weeks of misery. But hey, it's the pain that causes us to create ways to cope.

Take a hot bath when your cramps are the WORST. At least just sit in the water. You can read a book, do your homework, talk on the phone - whatever you please to do. I don't really like taking baths because I get bored too easily. I don't "relax" unless I have something to keep my mind busy - like a book.

For cramps that are bad, but not bad enough for a bath, try a heating pad. Alternate it between your back and stomach if you have cramps in both places (I do).

Water. Water. Water. Water! Drink lots of the stuff. Forget the caffinated soft drink, that can actaually make your cramps worse. Water is much better for you and will make you feel better; it will also help keep bloating to a minimum.

Midol or Advil. Midol is specifically formulated for period cramps, but Advil does the same thing for a good bit less money.

Eat healthy foods. Stay away from those potato chips, grab an apple instead. Yes, healthy foods will make you feel better.

Run, jump, play, swing, swim - do something! Exercise helps cramps and makes you feel much better. Even if you only take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood, you'll feel better.

It helps me to sleep in a non-elevated position at night. Without a pillow. And I like to keep my room warm during this time, but not so hot that it's choking me.

Sometimes it helps me to sleep without my pj pants on. If you just sleep in a big t-shirt and your underwear, there's less chance of messing up your pj pants, and there's nothing touching your abdomen (besides your underwear) and it really seems to help.

I hope everything goes well.

What is a good color eyeshadow for a gray sweatshirt and a blue top underneath

thanks! (link)
Umm.. perhaps a mix of both gray and blue. If you have a blue that's close to the color of your shirt and a gray that's close to the color of your sweatshirt, mix them - one in front of the other or one on top of the other. Or, perhaps, a cadet blue. That's a gray-ish blue-ish color. That'd probably be best. :)

Do guys find stretch marks unattractive? (link)
There will be guys who focus on nothing but your body and how it looks - so something like a stretch mark would be unattractive. However, there are guys who focus on your mind first, and appreciate your body later, and they don't mind the stretch marks. Perhaps if the stretch marks were extremely dark and deep and a lot of them, guys will think they're unattractive, but if there are only a few, or a normal / natural amount, guys shouldn't care. I think guys should care about who you are as a person, your mind, your spirit - not just your appearance. If you find a guy like that, hang on to him! Yes, he might notice the stretch marks, but they will not make any difference whether they're unattractive or not. Stretch marks are somthing that should bother you ONLY if you care about them, not any one else. True beauty comes from within. Besides, most stretch marks will fade over time, although they might not disappear completely. Try using Coco butter to smooth away their appearance. Time is a very good healer also. Drink lots of water, get good amounts of sleep, and eat healthily to help your body help itself. :)
-FunnyCide

Do creams for stretch marks actually work (like, get completely rid of the stretch marks?)If not, then do they fade them even?

If so for those two, which kind would you recommend and whats the price? (link)
Most girls get stretch marks while going through puberty and the months following. Most women get stretch marks when they're pregnant. Stretch makrs are an upset in the skins natural collagen balance and structure.

I wouldn't use a cream. Sometimes they help, but generally they're not worth your money. I would let them fade over time, but if you have Coco Butter lotion at home, it seems to help a little. But time is, by far, the best cure.

This morning I was in the shower ( Im on my period ) and I had a bad cramp. Well I pushed slightly about where my Uterus is to see if that would help relive some pain until I was outta the shower. Suddenly I felt a small amount of pressure being released and alot of blood came out. ( Not like a gallon, but like a tea spoon every few seconds, and it was really red ) My flow was heavy for about 30 minutes after, but it has gone back to normal now. Did I do some damage or something seriously wrong ? Do I need to see a doctor about whatever I did ? (link)
Absolutely not! You're perfectly fine, sweetie. You didn't do anything at all, in fact, you probably had a small clot of the blood, and your pressure on your stomach helped break up the clot, thus allowing free flow of the blood. Cramps are really bad, and sometimes 'massaging' your lower stomach will help break up clots and relieve pressure. Don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong.

i have a boyfriend..and i love him soo much
but like he is REALLY shy..
and i want to give him a hug soo bad..
and his stupid parents dont let me call him
and it sucks...any tips on atleast giving my
boyfriend a hug!!??

oh ya iml ike 5'3 and hes 5'8 so thats why i think it would be kind of a lift for me to hug haha.
thank you!! I'll rate depending on good of an answer :] (link)
Well, my boyfriend is 5'9'' or 5'10'', and I'm 5 feet - if I stretch! When he gives me a hug or I give him a hug, I just wrap my arm(s) around his back, and - voila!

To start with though, just give him a "side hug." Stand on one side and wrap one arm around him and just say something like, "I love you," or "I'm glad you're my boyfriend," etc.

Perhaps if you're standing by him or when you're about to leave him (leave school?), just give him a quick side-hug and smile. It should work. He'll catch on.

I'm shy; so is my boyfriend, but I'm more shy. So most of the time he starts the hug, but I don't hesitate to add my share. Haha...

Or maybe if you're sitting by him, you could give him a quick side-hug.

My mom doesn't like me to call guys, so I am not "really" supposed to call him. So it's not just his parents. It's mine too.

Once you kinda know how and when you're going to hug him, it should be fairly easy once you've got the nerve. Just relax - he's your boyfriend, you should be allowed to hug him. I hugged my boyfriend before we were even dating... before he even knew I liked him. That was just because he was (and is) my best friend. But still, he's your boyfriend. Don't be too shy. :)

when you have your period, is it bad to jump. for example, pole vaulting, high jumping, etc. because thats like MY LIFE !! thank you. bye !! (link)
Nah, you should be fine! If you wear a tampon, you'll definitely have more protection than if you only wore a pad, but you will be perfectly fine! Polue vaulting and high jumping - that sounds like a lot of fun. Don't let your period keep you from doing what you love to do. :)

Hi there =]
I'm 14 (if it helps?) Well we all know HALOWEEN is coming up soon. I'm trying to get ideas on what to do for a costume. I kind of want something 80's inspired. Maybe something like an 80's hipster girl with the crimped hair and such. Any ideas on what to wear, how to do makeup, where to get this stuff, etc. If you have any pictures for inspiration? Also i'm on somewhat of a tight budget. (link)
Hey, I have sorta the same idea for my homeschool masqurade ball. :) Well, I went to Target and I found the most awesome "hippie" dress. It's fantastic, bright colors, flowers, fringed vest etc. And I also found some black leggings that have moons and stars on them, and I'm going to cut the dress off so it's only about knee length, and wear the leggins under it. I bought some phenomenal Converses ($15 at TJ Maxx) - they're black, red, pink and white patchwork. I also have funky socks to wear. I'm going to dye my hair (again) purple, tip it purple anyway. Although I wear my hair straight, straight hair was in for a little while during the lat '60s and early '70s. But if you're looking for th 80s, I would suggest these websites :

http://www.kidzworld.com/site/p2006.htm
http://www.costumegallery.com/1980.htm
http://www.prebble.com/80sFashionFile.html
http://www.fashion-era.com/hats-hair/hats_hair_b13_fashion_history_1980_1990.htm
http://fashion.about.com/od/1960s1970s1980s/

Of course, during the '80s, Converses were REALLY popular (though those can be a bit pricey. Usually around $40, unless your local TJ Maxx carries them.) Most of the womens clothes were clingy. Mini skirts were really popular. Izod shirts and polos wer in. Midriff bearing shirts and legwarmers were in style also.

As far as makeup, colored mascara was really big, so was bright colored lipstick. Big, colorful earrings, friendship bracelets, charm bracelets and banana clips were in.

Try your local Thrift Store, TJ Maxx and other low-price stores. Also, e-Bay!

there is this girl that i've liked since 2nd grade and i like her even more.i am now in 9th grade and i think she is the one but i am afraid to ask her out because i am afraid she will say no. so what should i do?i am a male. (link)
Ask her. She might like you but not know how to tell you. I definitely say GO FOR IT! You know you like her - you've liked her for quite some time. The worst she can say is no, but she probably won't even say that. Just casually bring it up and ask her if she wants to go see a movie or hang out. Then, when the time is right, tell her you really like her and would like her to be your girlfriend. Don't be pushy or over-emotional. That's kinda weird when guys do that. Just be sensitive and sweet. She'll love you for it. :)

for aim, i wanted to make a custom color, but I hear you can only make one if you ahve a mac. is that true? if not than can you please tell me how to make a custom color? cause th button that says "add custom color" does work. (link)
Download Applesauce for AIM. This link should work : : http://s93438047.onlinehome.us/applesauce.exe

Applesauce is a tiny program (27 KB) and gives you unlimited color choices. Literally - create your own font color and background color. :)

i was just wondering...what does a spider bite look like? The other day I had this reddish looking thing on my chest...and now two red dots in a row on my pinky. Are these spider bites!??! (link)
They could be. But more than likely they're just flea bites, mosquitoe bites, or some other small insect. Spider bites usually turn purple.

I went on vacation last week, and I had to sleep in the floor at one hotel, and I got bitten by a spider. At first I didn't know it was a spider bite - I thought it was like a clogged pore. It had like a "head" on it and was REALLY painful. It didn't itch at all. The next night when I was changing out of my jeans, I accidentally scrubbed all the skin off of the "head," thus popping it. By this time, it was swolen and purple! I know it was a spider bite because of this. It didn't ever itch at all. But it hurt and was swolen, and purple. Now I just have a little scab as a reminder of where it was. No big deal.

If the bites start to itch, you'll know it wasn't a spider bite. Spider bites almost never itch. You'll be fine. :)
