FunnyCide answered Sunday October 16 2005, 9:53 pm: There will be guys who focus on nothing but your body and how it looks - so something like a stretch mark would be unattractive. However, there are guys who focus on your mind first, and appreciate your body later, and they don't mind the stretch marks. Perhaps if the stretch marks were extremely dark and deep and a lot of them, guys will think they're unattractive, but if there are only a few, or a normal / natural amount, guys shouldn't care. I think guys should care about who you are as a person, your mind, your spirit - not just your appearance. If you find a guy like that, hang on to him! Yes, he might notice the stretch marks, but they will not make any difference whether they're unattractive or not. Stretch marks are somthing that should bother you ONLY if you care about them, not any one else. True beauty comes from within. Besides, most stretch marks will fade over time, although they might not disappear completely. Try using Coco butter to smooth away their appearance. Time is a very good healer also. Drink lots of water, get good amounts of sleep, and eat healthily to help your body help itself. :)

Karen answered Sunday October 16 2005, 9:40 pm: If the stretch marks are very noticeable, a guy would definitely find that unattractive, but if they aren't, he most likely wouldn't care. But it depends, really. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
FrEe2bMe answered Sunday October 16 2005, 9:38 pm: Sure, you are going to find some guys that judge people based on looks nad outward appearances, but that shouldn't be the basis for is someone finds you attractive or not. I know that it's hard to not try to please others, but it should really only be an issue if it bothers YOU personally. A guy that really likes you and care about you is going to think you are atractive not for just the way you look on the outside but for the person you truly are (on the inside). If you do happen to come across someone that does find it unattractive, let them think that. It's their choice. If you really do want to try to reduce their appearance you may want to try Palmers Cocoa Butter lotion and/or Mederma. This is not going to make them vanish or totally prevent them but it will help in the appearance slightly and prevention. :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
