I think you're just fine. If you want you can go to a gynecologist, but most girls don't do that until they're about to become sexually active or they're 18.

You'll probably get your first period pretty soon, because discharge becomes heavier as you come up on your first period. Altohough sometimes the discharge will go away between periods, most of the time it will not. Sometimes it's even heavier. You're fine.

Stay prepared for your first period. You never know when it'll show up... I know I was really lucky to be home when I got mine, because I was not prepared. Keep a pad / tampon, extra underwear and a jacket (to tie around your waist if it gets on your pants) or extra pants with you at school, perhaps in your locker. :)

Well, you SHOULD get it soon. The discharge is just discharge. Is what you're talking about a thick, "boogery" and whiteish yellowish? Yep, that's just normal discharge. You should be getting your period soon though within the next few months if not sooner. No, you do not need to go to the gyno for an exam. You're fine. And no, you are NOT getting your period. As soon as you see that discharge turning Red or blackish, then that's your period. Until then, you do not have your period. But, I would advise you to keep pads or tampons with you and extra undies for the next few months until yo do start your period. It's quite embarassing and uncomfortable to walk around with blood soaked undies.

It sure sounds like you're going to be getting your period very soon. I wouldn't advise you to go to the gynecologist, because discharge is very normal for teenage girls. If you're not already, start wearing pantyliners everywhere you go. They are cheap and work great. It will protect you from discharge making you feel gross and staining some of your underwear. And, another great thing about them is that if you have your period (unless it's heavy which is rare) and you're wearing one, it will protect you from it leaking out before you change to a pad or tampon.
I hope I helped.

No reason to be scared. It is perfectly normal.
A GYN exam shouldn't be necessary or anything.
