It's fine, people put warm washcloths over their eyes when they have a headache or strained eyes, and it usually works. It's not bad, and I find it quite relaxing!

Ignore AskMelissa. Actually, if you have a pimple on the bottom of your eyelid (like where you'd put eyeliner), they tell you to put hot compresses on it. That's just a hot rag. No, it's fine. As long as the water isn't hot enough to burn your skin. :)

As long as it doesnt burn your eyes it is ok. I think warm water on a wash cloth is fine just as long as its not to hott.

If you press too hard, it may make your vision momentarily blurry, but otherwise no. I have been told by a doctor to put hot compresses on my eyes for different problems - so yeah. No problems.
