A lot of times when I stand up or sit up after laying down, I black out. My vision goes all black for about five seconds and I feel a bit dizzy.
I don't know why this is happening... I haven't changed my eating or exercise habits at all. I eat enough and I do about 30 minutes of cardio a day.
Any idea why this is happening?

when a person starts blacking out it's caused by a change in blood pressure. you should take things easy for the time being. drink lots of water! when you sit up or stand up do it slowly. it's all caused by blood pressure so if you want to go to the doctor they'll prescribe something for it.

you can go to the paintbrush tool and change it to a different brush like the presets, and if you go to photoshop.com you can download brushes there and i'm sure they have floral ones there

When you link multiple screen names on AIM, is it possible to just have one of them be away?
yes. go to the screen name you wish to put as away and in the pull down bar were it says "available" (right underneath the place were you change your status), click the pull down menu and change it to "away" and the second to bottom option has a check mark next to it saying "apply to all accounts" unclick this and it'll only apply to one screen name.

Recently i just keep getting so stressed and aggrivated so easily. I know i can be that sort of person though that gets frustrated easily, like when im reading i cant stand when people talk, it makes me lose focus and annoys me, but this is worse.
My little brother is going through puberty so he's all hormonal and he just shouts things and is a brat alllll the time which is causing me alot of stress. My mums also believes she's going to go through menopause soon so she's been the same and they just both annoy me so much.
It doesnt help i cant escape them and they wont leave me alone.
But ontop of that, i have to do 13 artworks, yes 13, for school, and read a book, plus perform 3 songs for music (i have stage fright) and maths homework (speaks for itself).
I'm begginging to get used to the work and slowly go through things like my artworks, planning and orginising time for each thing, but theres always that uncontrollable stress.
From people who meditate, will it make me feel better? I just need someway to release my stress and because my mums being how she is right now she won't even let me do things like go out for a walk or run or even join a sport.
meditation will definately help. i can also suggest some stuff that will help you with everything else
1. for stage fright, there are calming foods that you should eat a SMALL portion of. they calm your nerves and it's really helpfull and i go on stage so i know. peanut butter and bananas. don't take too much just maybe a teaspoon of peanut butter OR a small banana. you dont wanna feel drowsy when you're on stage from taking too much lol
2. there are ways of relieving stress by clearing your mind. this takes practice but believe me it feels so amazing to not think about anything at least for a couple of minutes. this can be done by breathing in deeply and picturing all your thoughts as a cloud or a blur around your body and then forming a protective barier around your whole body to block out all the thoughts. when you do it right you'll feel like you're either looking into one dark point or your eyes will focus to the center of your lids.
it really helps in general to clear your mind a couple times a day to relieve stress. another thing is stopping everything you're doing and just "refreshing." lay down when you feel too stressed, and just stay that way for a couple of minutes and breath in and out deeply.

Ok, so I have an AMAZING straightener that works great...as long as I stay inside my house! I'll get my hair perfect and then right when I walk outside it goes curly! It's so frusterating because I've even tried hairspray, which I hate to use, and it still curls! I don't usually use any products other than just shampoo and conditioner. Please help! I want something that will make my hair straight throughout the day but won't make it stiff! THANK YOU!!!!
well there are some different products you can use that wont stiffen your hair.
1. KMS CALIFORNIA - its pretty good and it's meant for keeping your hair straight... it is a spray but it still works
2. Pantene Styling Milk - it's a cream and it never hardens hair and it keeps it the way you style it.
don't use gel or any products with lots of alcohol because alcohol tends to make your hairy frizzy and it curls.
i suggest most pantene products, they should do the trick.

i understand you like her but shouldn't it be a turn off that she doesn't like you? if she's not realizing what she can have with you then why would you wanna be with someone like that? that shows you that she's not worth being with and the fact that she lead you on should be enough to get you to stop liking her. she played with your emotions and nothing came out of it. you will get over her and it will take some time but you need to find someone better who won't toy with your heart and who will wanna be with you. i'm sure you'll find that person

I just a job this summer at a really small store. (i'm 15/f, by the way) There are 5 people total who work there, and it's a pretty close-knit environment. There's a guy who works there too, who's my age (well, he's 16) and in my grade. We've only known each other about a month, but he just told me that he liked me a couple days ago. We haven't had time to talk about it though, so he doesn't know if i like him or not. I think I do, but I'm not so sure. Sometimes he's perfect and wonderful, and other times he's just weird. (he's homeschooled, so that probably has something to do with it). Should I just date him and see how it goes? Or should I say that I'm not really ready for a relationship?
if you are not sure, i suggest you get to know him better first. hang out with him after work or something and see if you like him. i'm sure he'd be happy to do that and if you decide you're ready to date him, then go ahead =]] if you barely know the guy, you shouldn't be getting into a relationship because who knows if he's abusive, or does drugs or something. you never know so i guess just give it some time and get to know him. =]]

ok well you're going to be a freshman so let me tell you that there will be SO MANY GUYS that you won't be able to keep up lol. not kidding! all the classes have different guys and believe me you'll find a couple you like that will like you back.
but lemme tell you this, when i entered freshman year, 2 years ago, they were so immature. and being in a relationship with most of them is ridiculous. i know you want a boyfriend really badly, but lots of girls i know are starting to go single and they love it. they do whatever they want, whenever they want, and they don't have to worry about heartbreak from the guy they'd be dating.
just make sure you don't be too eager to get a boyfriend because that'll give off the impression that you're easy and that's never good because with all the gossip you'll quickly be called a slut. and everytime i dated a guy, they came unexpected, right when i was about to give up. not when i searched for them. be patient and good luck =]]

Okay, i pretend to be a really happy person, but i am veryyy depressed. Or, well thats what the quizes say. I normally wont buy it, but they say its serious depression & i need help A.S.A.P. but problem is...i dont really have a doctor. And i told my brother one time and he got pissed off. I am afriad to tell anyone now becuase i am afriad they will get mad )= i know it sounds stupid but thats how i feel! And i need help. So if i tell a doctor, they'll subsrice me some pills and will tell my family. Does anyone know how to cure depression without anyone knowing? And please dont say stuff like, Spend time with the fam. becuase there one of the reasons of my depression.

first of all i'd like to say you are amazing for not going to a doctor because personally i believe pills don't make things better, they numb you.
What you need to do is target the problem. See what it is that's making you feel this way. A friendship, something personal, something having to do with family, and it's not easy but once you figure out what it is, you can overcome it.
If you were to go to a psychiatrist they would tell you to make a list which i believe helps a lot and i did it when i had anger issues. you make a couple of collumns and write down
1. what you're feeling
2. why you're feeling it
3. are you reacting to the feeling in the right way?
4. how you could improve your feelings on the matter.
also, when you depression is triggered it's important clear your mind. there are many methods you can find online and i know a couple if you'd like to know just message me on here or aim ( xxes25 )
also, if you want to try accupuncture which i have seen work many times especially in depression : there is a pressure point right about the knuckle on your 4th finger that is the pressure point for the liver. (quick lesson : depression starts when the energy flow slows down and gets trapped in the liver... this pressure point above the knuckle is the point for liver and if you massage, tap or rub it, it will release the energy)
i really hope this helps. i know it's tough but i'm sure you'll be able to get through it and if you need someone to talk to in the meantime, i'll be glad to listen or help.

i know exactly how you feel.
1. re-arrange your room (i know it sounds weird but change helps)
2. be with friends and make sure they are the funny ones that keep you occupied
3. find someone you can complain to, let all your emotions out (if you need me you can im me at xxes25)
4. go ice skating, mall, park, friends house, beach, pool, just plainly out of your house in general.
5. if you're into the arts, you can write a poem of the pain, or write a letter.
6. go do paintballs. =]] it helps to shoot at people =]]
7. get anything that person ever gave you and see if it makes you feel better to rip it up or throw it out. always helped me.
8. everytime you think about that person, stop and think THAT PERSON SHOULD NOT BE HAVING SO MUCH INPACT ON MY LIFE BECAUSE THEY HURT ME. IT SHOULD NOT IMPACT ME AT ALL. ONLY GOOD THINGS SHOULD IMPACT ME THIS MUCH.

have always been a person who suffers from depression and anxiety i have tried many counsleors , psychologists and nothing seems to help , does anyone know of any natural remedies that might help me? thank you so much
so here's a fact : depression and it's feelings are part of an energy flow ("qi") which when the energy flow is stored up, it stores in the liver.
the accupuncture point for liver is right above the knuckle of your fourth finger. rubbing, tapping, or massaging this pressure point helps release some of that stored energy. it works for some people.

i asked the question about the social anxiety disorder...and then you answered asking if the idea that i had the disorder would have popped into my head even if i hadent seen the magazine article...and to answer the question, no i wouldnt have, i didnt know that it existed, until i read it,and realized i was like that. im still not sure if that changes anything though...does it?
i know from experience as well as seeing people go through things on how they see something and they think they have it. I'm not saying it's the same situation with you, ofcourse i'm not a doctor, but i do believe the majority of people confuse mind over matter.
if you have social anxiety, you're also going to have many regular anxiety symptoms (which i have had as well) : uncontrollable shaking because of muscle shaking, fluttering eyes when trying to fall asleep, sleepless nights, always in a "panic" mode.
also, social anxiety starts at an extremely early age, maybe 5 or so.
i want you to know something that'll show you that this country calls everything an anxiety. stage fright is considered a social anxiety. don't most people, even the most confident, get stage fright? they do. and this, which mostly everyone has, is considered a form of anxiety. does this sound reasonable that the whole world suffers from anxiety? maybe but people get over it quite quickly, maybe by taking a few courses or what not, proving that it's not anxiety. anxiety last for years, making it seem unbreakable.
i hope if you do have anxiety that you overcome it however =]] all i'm trying to do is give you a different way of looking at it, because maybe it is and maybe it isn't anxiety. i hope your situation gets better though

this song was written in '83 when women didn't play many roles in life. when she says "some boys take a beautiful girl and hide her away from the rest of the world" she is refering to being "tied down" to one man who won't let her "see the rest of the world" refering to other men and other opportunities. she is being taken away and saying girls wanna try new stuff and "have fun"
as for your boyfriend, could it be possible that he wants to be alone with you because he cares for you? if you truly like this kid it shouldn't matter where you are as long as you two are together. however if you talk to him and say "why don't we go see a movie" or "lets go out to dinner" i'm sure he be glad to. after all if you're concerned with him hiding you, i highly doubt he'd be dating you if he was embarassed of you. maybe he's not a public kind of guy. talk to him, the worst that can happen is that you see his point of view
So, a couple week's ago, I was reading in Seventeen about a girl who had a mental disability, and in the corner of the next page, theres a little red box that said " Could you have a hidden disorder?"( This is the February 2008 issue, the one with Vanessa Hudgens on the cover.) One of the disorders is Social Anxiety Disorder...where you have continious fear of being judged, watched, humiliated, or embarresed, and it makes it hard for you to get through day to day activities. As soon as I read it, I felt that i may have this disorder...Heres what made me feel like I may have it....
When I'm walking through the halls at school, what's always on my mind is what all the people around me are thinking of me...what there thinking of my skin, my hair, my clothes, my body...weather they think im fat or gross, or my clothes are ugly, and I HATE walking through the hall's. Even when I'm walking out in public, and I pass a complete stranger, I cant help but think, when they looked at me, what they were thinking...weather im ugly, fat, what they thought of just...me. It's sometimes even hard for me to eat in public, cause I think that everyone is watching me eat.
I tend to get embarresed easily. It seems like everything that I do I get embaressed doing it. I get embarresed walking into a room. Weather it's at school, church, with my family, my boyfriends family, my friends house. Anywhere.
I seem very very....self concious...I guess...I dont like to show my body much cause I'm afraid of what people will think..weather something on me is to big, or if my skin is too light, stuff like that. When I'm swimming, I get so embarresed when I strip down to my swim suit, and when im walking, I put my hands in front of my sthomach, I try to cover my thighs,any part of my body that I'm not comfortable with, I try to cover it up. It even makes me skip out on going swimming sometimes. A couple weeks ago my boyfriend invited me to go swimming with his family,and I told him that I didnt want to go. He didnt understand why,and i didnt want him to think that i was fishing for compliments on my body,so i just told him it was my monthly time. Everytime that I walk, and i look at my legs, all i see is the fat on them, everytime i look at my sthomach, all i see is the fat. and im afraid of what people would think, so i try to cover it up with my clothes. I dont like living like this. I know that teens are suppost to be a little self concious...but is it suppost to be this bad?
could I really have this disorder?

hi, ok well i just want to point out that in this country, as great as it is, EVERYTHING that isn't perfect can be "made into a disease or disorder." what i mean is that people are deciding they have disorders before actually deciphering what there problem is because it's easier to say "i have a disorder, get me professional help" rather than "i have a concious issue and i need to work it through" sorry for the ramble
I GET SELF CONCIOUS ALL THE TIME!! most people do. there are extremes ofcourse which are disorders, however it doesn't mean you're one of them. You have to figure out what it is about you that makes you feel this way. hair, skin, stomach, legs, whatever. then you have to realistically look at yourself and decide whether or not you are trully looking at yourself correctly.
Also, the more you "try to cover up" and feel self concious, the more people will notice you trying to hide something which will make them curious to see what it is. For instance, girls who continuosly look in the mirror and fix something like their hair or make up just brings attention to themselves that they are not looking their best.
also, about the boyfriend/bathing suit thing. you're with him because you like him right? well he's with you...HE CHOSE YOU TO BE WITH. understand that, it means he wants to be with you and it doesn't matter what you look like.
as for strangers... are you ever gonna see them again in your life? the one moment they pass you by, would they really remember for the rest of their lives of one girl who passed them? i highly doubt that. most people are mainly concerned with themselves and aren't worrying about whether or not your skin is too light or if your clothes aren't correct.
please please please don't jump to the conclusion that you have a disorder. it's a serious thing, and one more question for you to answer...would the thought of having a disorder popped into your mind if you weren't reading that magazing?

Hello.
On sites like Advicenators, and Myspace, you know how when you click the box where you type your username of email, a list of names of the accounts you've already logged in to comes up?
Is there any way to delete a username OFF of that list? Or do you have to delete them all? [Because I always type too fast and spell mine wrong so there are a ton of random ones on there]

this will work for some sites but possibly not for others :
double click on the space where you usually sign in to get the list of usernames enterted to show up, you can also do this by pressing the first letter of your username. Then with your keeppad hit the down arrow and go down to the username you wish to remove and click the "delete" key. again this works on some sites but not others.
if you wish to delete ALL the usernames entered go to your tools menu, internet options and under "browsing history" and then "form data" to delete them all.

there's a really amazing spray that you can use when you striaghten your hair. it's called kms california.
also if you straighten your hair, maybe your straightener isn't strong enough to keep your hair the way you want it, in this case i'd suggest a new straightener.
another thing is straightening serums. they can help but make sure you get ones without any alcohol because alcohol will make your hair frizz up
