Humidity and Hair :(

Question Posted Thursday July 17 2008, 4:59 pm

I live in texas
about 8-10 mins. from the water.
Its Hot and Humid over here. The problem
with my hair is not that it frizzes but it flips.
Like my hair will be perfectly straight but as soon
as i get outside it flips. This only happens in the morning though. and the problem with that
is that i ride the bus. So is there anything that will keep my hair straight?

I live in Virginia, so I know EXACTLY what you're talking about! I hated walking to the bus, because my perfectly straight hair would go POOF as soon as I made it halfway out the door. Even though it's hot, I always wore a zip up hoodie & put the hood up until I got on the bus. It kept my hair perfectly straight & I just took it off on the bus. I've tried a lot of straightening creams & different straighteners & that wasn't the problem. It's just our hair types =/ Sorry love. ♥

there's a really amazing spray that you can use when you striaghten your hair. it's called kms california.
also if you straighten your hair, maybe your straightener isn't strong enough to keep your hair the way you want it, in this case i'd suggest a new straightener.
another thing is straightening serums. they can help but make sure you get ones without any alcohol because alcohol will make your hair frizz up
