Q: What is a Godmother/Godfather?
Example: When your friend has a baby and wants you to be the Godmother.

Basically its if the mother and father die the Godmother and/or Godfather will take care of the baby. (Thats in my family though.) Usually, Godmothers just get the kid presents at Christmas (or hanukkah) and her Birthday.

Q: Do you ever read a question, roll your eyes and think, "Yeah right, somebody so just made that up"?

If so, what do you do about it? Just not answer or answer it seriously anyways just 'cause it might be real?

Well a lot of times I dont. Usually i'm like "Wow some kid is either making it up, or he/she is really dumb" Haha, I know, mean. But most of the time I dont think anything of it, I just give advice.

Well I use Garnier Frutice Long and Strong. People always comment on how long my hair is getting! So maybe it will work for you!

Q: My best (girl) friends keep bugging me to ask out this guy who is my friend also. I really like him and all but I don't want to lose my friendship with him...but if I don't ask him my friends said that they would ask him out for me. How am I supposed to tell my friends to back off without seeming harsh?

Just say politely "Guys, I dont want to ruin my friendship with him. So if you do ask him out for me, I'll deny it. That might hurt his feelings, so please just dont mention it.

Q: This is definetely not the greatest of questions..Here I go, Im a guy, and for whatever reason Im always extremely horny, I could just have finished having sex, 10 minutes later i need some more, Im pretty sure this is normal, but just in case there is something wrong with me, i figured I would ask. Girls liking it? Depends on how you handle it. If you only date girls to be in bed with them... its bad BADDDDD! (Tehe) If your having sex with only girls you care about.. its fine. Just make sure shes on the same page as you.

Q: Today I decided to completley put my faith and trust into God, I really took him into my life today. However, I just started going to church last year so I was never baptised and never confirmed. Can I still expect to go to Heaven? What exactly does being confirmed or baptised mean?

(I'm aithiest. But I was Catholic. And I was baptised and confirmed, so hear me out.) Baptism is when the priest puts holy water on a persons forehead to sort of "Welcome" them into the Catholic church. Confirmation.. I have no clue what its for (pathetic I know, I went through with it), but I think its like "confirming your religion"

To get baptised and confirmed, you will have to work really hard and study. You have to go to the church that you want to go to and talk to the lead priest, he should tell you what you need to do.

Q: I'm going to a dance this weekend and my top makes me look a tiny bit fat. It's this weekend so i don't have time to really work out n loose weight, i need a one night improvo sumtin or another that will make me look skinny...
my friend suggested like plastic wrap? it works but its noisy, you couldn't dance in that.
(i have a corset i mite wear as a joke with my friends but is there nething else?) silent ideas that will take of the extra 5 pounds for one night? THNX!

Wear a long dark shirt and long dark pants, it will make you look taller witch will make you look leaner. Truth is is that there is no miracle way to make you skinny in that short of time.

Okay everything has been going great I mean i havent even been on this website for like 6 months which is really good it ment i wasnt confused.

Now i still have the same crush that just about all of the older mebers know about But anyways so for the second time i bottled my feeling somewhat up and tried not to think about her that way.

This has been working for about a month and then school started to overwhelm me I have more homework than ever i am trying to get my room and loft area i have two projects i need to do another project for the high school for theatre and tec theatre that i want to go to. which i am not really sure i want to go to anymore
so natrually i am really stressed. And on top of all of that i didnt have the mental power to keep my feelings for the girl i liked locked up
So i kind of just blew up

So all i need is some relaxtion tricks and tips to keep me not so stressed? basically any could things to help me relax

Hmm.. stress.. not a thing I cope well with. But whenever I feel stressed out, I listen to my favorite music, before I go to bed, with the lights out, and lay in my bed. It works for me. Hanging out with non-dramatic friends also helps. And finally, EXERCISE! It will keep you looking and feeling your best! Take a walk when you get home from school, go to the gym or local YMCA... or even get dance dance revolution (video game)!!

Q: I have a HUGE problem it all started on New Years.....well my mom and aunts and cousins all went out for new years eve and me amanda and a girl named katie from Iowa stayed at my cousin kristies house and she didnt tell her mom (my aunt) she bought some vodka for us and us all three got wasted and stoned off our asses and katie called some of her GUY friends to come over to my cousins house and one of our girls was left out (amanda) and katie and i got the two guys and i got the 17 year old and she got the 16 year old and they were sooo hott especially the 17 year old and i feel really bad because i cheated on my boyfriend but the thing is we barely even talk or communicate so it doesnt even feel like we are going out......i dont know if i should break up with him or stay with him because i REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKE the 17 year old and he asked me to be his girl and i said YES....Please anyone tell me what i should do..because i did stuff with the 17 year old.......

Okay. First off, please dont do that again. I'm sure no one wants to see you dead, including me (and I don't even know you.) Second of all, you are in a toughy that has an easy solution. Since you are now dating this 17 year old, you are stuck with him and have to break up with your old boyfreind. Unless you break up with the 17 year old and continue going out with your old boyfriend. Or.. you could break up with both of them (I suggest that one)

You need to decide who you like better. And then go out with that one and break up with the other one.

Q: ok well for school we have to write journal entries and i am way behind i have only written 2 and we need like 15! we can write about anything. i need some topics that are easy to write about and i can write a lot on because the more you write the more points you get. thanks!

Write about you and your life. Its the easiest. Write about any movies you've seen, any books you've read, music, pets, friends, school, guys... ect. Maybe read an article from the newspaper and write your opinion about that. Since the holidays just passed, write about what happened or some traditions you have. Maybe write a short story and have like 3 journal entries as the chapters.

Always use frizz serum. But there is that Hot Straight thing thats in the pink bottle, the comercials with Beyonce. That helps with straighteners. And Redken has one too, I'm not totally sure if you need a straightener with that one.

Q: I have two cats that have been raised together since they were kittens. One cat is a grey tabby and the other is a black tortise shell cat. The past few days I've noticed that the female cat is in heat. She rubs against everything, thrusts her rear into the air, and howls loudly. My male cat however, seems uninterested. I'd really like them to have babies. Is something wrong with my male cat? Is this normal?

I'm sure its normal. I mean, depending on the age, he may not be at that age to have kittens yet. Or he just may not be interested. Thats all I can think of. Sorry.

Depends. You should talk to your doctor. It could be a yeast infection or something more serious.

Q: I've started seeing a guy and I have fallen totally head over heels for him. He assures me he feels the same, and as they say, actions speak louder than words and he clearly does love me to bits.
The problem is, that I just can't understand what he sees in me and find myself doubting the relationship all the time, and I can't let myself relax because I'm so sure he'll break my heart. This isn't his problem, it's completely about me, but how can I get over this without ruining the relationship, and without him thinking I am completely neurotic!

Ohh toughy. I think that you need to find confidence in yourself, girly! Only you can do that, you need to look in the mirror and into your soul and point out all the good qualities to yourself. I'm sure you are wonderful, and he likes everything in you.

You probably should talk to him about you feeling he'll break your heart. So then he can reassure you that he will try not to. (I mean, guys are gonna break your heart. But he might not, if hes that great guy that your saying.)

Q: So i spent the night at my friends house.
Her brother and I were watching a movie.
He got up to get something to drink.
I put my feet on the sofa,then he came back he didnt move my feet instead he grabed a pillow and layed on me.
Then later on her grabed my hands.
Awhile after that,i was on him.
As in he was siting down,and my legs were over his.
He out his face on mine.
As if,he wanted me to kiss him.
But i just huged him.
Later after everyone fell alseep,he kissed my on my forehead.
We talked a bit,then he stole my pillow.
So i was forced to get up and sit on the floor and take my pillow back.
He didnt let me have it back,so instead i layed down with him.
He held my hand,kissed are hands.
And kissed me couple more times on my forehead.
Then fell alseep.
Next day,It was like nothing happened.
Im confused,i mean did he just want someone to lay on and hold hands?

I think he was just embaressed that next morning. And plus, his sister and parents (?) were around so he probably didn't want them to think that you two were an "item". Plus.. think about if you were in his position. It would be quite embarrasing if you liked your brothers friend and then your parents know about it. And maybe he thought that if they knew, they would think you guys did a little more (like.. sex or make out) last night. Or he could be embaressed around you because he opened himself up a little the night before.

Q: so my boyfriend who is really afectionate never calls. he used to call, but ever since we started going out he has stoped. i no he stil likes me but i feel liek i dont ahve a boyfriend because he never makes much of an effort to contact me. so anyadvice on what i shoudl do or why he is doing this.

Hmm.. Maybe call him and get him in the habit of tlaking on the phone with you. (Dont call too much though, you may look too desperate.)
Or you could always just tell him how your feeling. Say how it would be nice if he put in some effort of contacting you.

Q: see i have this old boyfriend. we went out for 5 almost 6 months. but then he ended up moving. everyone in his new school loved him to death. now he's forgotten all about me but i still care alottttt about him. what do i do ?!

Aw. Call him. Tell him you miss him and all. Also tell him how you feel. Don't be worried, if he dated you for 5 months he wont hate you or think you have cooties. Depending on how far away he moved, maybe plan to meet somewhere and have fun. If hes single, ask him out on a date.

Aw. First off, I sorta know how you feel. I have a lot of really pretty friends and I used to feel like the Ugly Duckling a lot. But I took a deep long look at myself in the mirror. Normally, I would pick out the bad stuff about me. But then, I picked all the parts I liked about myself. I had found that the good things outweighed the bad. And I had found a new confident me. So do that, and keep doing that for a few weeks. Soon you'll look in the mirror with a smile, because the good things about you will stand out. Soon you will be more confident and wont feel like the Ugly Duckling. (By the way, those guys are just looking for eye candy/ a play toy, so they arent worth it.)

I know what your thinking. 'But I don't know any good things about myself' I thought the same thing when I first tried this. But.. you will. Trust me.

Q: Hi! I just finished my shift at my job today. This married lady that I work with is trying to set me up with a guy that knows her husband. They met him at a New Years party and he asked her if she knew any cute, nice girls from her work that would want to go out with him She said he is 32 and owns his own computer business. She said he is a really nice guy and wants to date a nice girl who has no kids. He's had problems with on line dating (and so have I)

I am 28 and have never been married or have had children. I told her I am quite shy and havent dated anyone in a long time. She said he is shy too. She is going to phone him and we (me, this guy, her and her huband) are going to meet for coffee.

Do you think he sounds like a nice guy that won't just try to sleep with me?

I think he sounds nice, trust your friend. And if he is in for sleeping with you, slap him and never talk to him again. Simple, right? And good luck with that resolution!
