DVD to Computer?

Question Posted Sunday January 8 2006, 6:09 pm

Hey I wanted to see if it was possible to save a DVD movie onto the computer. Is it possible? I tried to do it but it didn't work. Do you need a special program, and if so what is it called? Thanks in advance.

You want to save it as a DVD image file.

The best program for this (the one that I, personally, use) is called Alcohol 120%. It will allow you to save DVD images to your computer, run them from your computer, and, I think, burn them to blank DVD's (if you have a DVD burner).

Convert it to DivX - but offhand I can't think of any programs that will do it. Haven't gotten around to it.
