I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

If your school lunch isn't really that good, you can do a questionairre & see what other people think, and then write an article about it.

If that doesn't sound interesting, write an opinion piece on something.

Alright for Christmas I'm planning on getting a new game console. I'm either getting Wii or Xbox 360 so I'm wondering if anyone would like to share their opinions about either of them. Which do you think is better? What are the features from both of them? I want to get Xbox 360 cause I heard Halo 3 came out and speaking of Halo, I have 2 brothers so whats the multiplayer like? Is it spilt screen or do all 3 of us share the same screen? But I also want the Wii cause I bought nintendo products since I was a boy and I'm kind of attached to it plus I have gamecube and a trunk full of the games,around 30-40, and I also heard regular gamecube games can work on the Wii hmm except I don't think I can get used to the remote and I heard it uses batteries so that means I would be wasting money for batteries. So the probability is like 65% of getting an Xbox 360 and 35% of getting a Wii. So anyone have any comments?

I've played XBox before, and I have to say that the graphics are really insanely real. I have to agree with the person below me when they say that Nintendo has the cartoony looking games, but I think the Wii is better.

Instead of sitting on your ass playing a video game, you're actually moving & getting active. Some of the games aren't as violent & you're getting a pretty good workout. I personally like the Wii better, but both consoles are great.

top 10 best states, why?

Illinois: They have Chicago, and I think Chicago is a really cool city. I've never been there, but it's windy. What's not to love about a city with wind?

California: They have Disneyland, LA, Rodeo Drive, Melrose Ave & San Francisco. They have a lot of cute places, trends & they have things other states really don't have. Plus, you can go snowboarding in a t-shirt.

North Carolina: I met a girl from Charlotte when I was on a plane ride back to my city, and she was really nice & authentic. If everyone down there is like her, who wouldn't wanna be there?

Georgia: On New Year's, instead of dropping a ball; they drop a peach. I think that's pretty cool.

New York: I live there! Haha, but I don't live in NYC, I live in a completely different city in the state. But, we have New York City, we have subways, taxis, lots of good shopping & food areas, we never sleep & everything is just a lot more fun there. Plus, we have a TON of amusement parks [Roseland WaterPark, Darien Lake, Coney Island, & WaterSafari]. Not only that, but you can go to NYC & then come to Rochester & hear two completely different accents. Who doesn't love a state where everything is different?

Florida: They have beaches, Disneyworld, Orlando Resorts & stuff like that. I don't know about you, but that sounds like a fun time.

Florida: They've got Vegas. Never been there, but my cousin has & she's moving out there because she loves it so much.

Ohio: They have Cedar Point! Hello!?

Hawaii: The homeland of surfing. Plus they have an amazing culture.

Pennsylvania: They have Hershey [where the chocolate was made, and it's an actual city. It even SMELLS like Chocolate. =] How amazing is that!?]. And they have Philadelphia.

Out of all the states in the country, those are the ones I'd like to visit most, except for NY, since I kind of live there. =]

i may have oral cancer. ive had these weird little bumps all over my mouth, and if they were cacker sours, they would have gone away by now.

does anyone know what the symptoms of oral cancer are, what will happen during it, how to treat it, that kind of stuff? im really scared, and i would like to know everything that you know.

If not, you need to stop diagnosing yourself and freaking yourself out when you probably don't have it.

What kind of a cool phone would you reccomend from verizon? I have a little plain camera phone but the contract is almost over- so this time i want to get liek a cool phone that actually does stuff. Which ones are most like iphones?

please don't say "just look at their website" because i already know that.

You won't find a phone like the IPhone on Verizon because only AT&T [formerly Cingular] has the IPhone, so that's out of the question.

Two of my friends have the En-V & it's a really good phone. The internet is fast, it's easier to text & the pictures have really good quality. Honestly, that's the phone I'd recommend because it's so cute & compact. Plus you can now get it in different colors like Orange instead of just Silver.

I've heard a lot of remixes to it. I know a band called I Set My Friends On Fire that did a mix to it because my friend works with them & they did one mix. It's on their MySpace, but I don't know if that's what you heard or if it isn't.

In one day .. I lost my best friend to her old drinking habits with the wrong crowd, my boyfriend of eighth months and I broke up, and my grandma died. I feel so alone, my boyfriend moved on in one day. He claims he still loves me, but he's already asked another girl to the dance. He finds every way to rub it in my face. I try not to let it get to me but its so hard. I think about him all the time, despite the fact I'm the one that called it quits after months of emotional abuse. Why is it that he was the one that made my life miserable, and he's getting the happy ending? How do I get over this and become happy again?

I can tell you right now that things are going to be hard, but you seem to be having what I would call the worst day ever.

Let's start piece by piece. Your best friend got sucked into her old habits of drinking. You need to have a talk with her. I realize alcohol may seem like a great release & everything, but you need to tell her & get it into her head that it's not. Alcohol is a depressant drug & it makes people do stupid things. Some people are fun drunks, some are happy & some are sad drunks, some are even angry, violent drunks but all people who are drunks are dumb. Confront your friend about these things & tell her it's for her own good. If she doesn't listen to you, tell a counselor & suggest she get some so that they can help her properly.

As for your boyfriend, guys are cruel. They're mean, inconsiderate, rude & even underemotional [chances are, I made that word up. If so, cool!]. Guys will do anything to a girl & almost always not end up feeling bad for it. Honestly, you should be happy the relationship is over. This guy abused you for months & terrorized you, yet you're sad? I don't get it. I think you need to rethink yourself & even get some counseling yourself. Every problem you've got right now needs counseling.

As for your grandmother, I'm SO sorry. My boyfriend passed away last month, so I'm really sorry & I know almost exactly how you feel. It hurts to lose someone so close to you & to have to deal with all the pain & heartbreak. All you should be telling yourself is that it's not your fault, there's nothing you can do & that at least she's not suffering anymore. It'll still hurt but it should somewhat ease the pain you're feeling.

I'm not sure exactly what to say to you except that things get better with time, and you should take things as they come. Don't rush happiness, or anything because it won't come immeadiately. Dealing with things like this takes a lot of time & you'll go through a lot of stages. I hope you feel better & if you ever need to talk, I'm here.

What's a good way for telling a guy that I like him. I wrote him a poem and I'm going to ask his opinion on it. And then I'm going to go ahead and tell him the truth. Do you think that's a good way? Or should I do it a other way. It's okay I'm completly comfortable for everything. Thank you for your advice.

I think the best way to tell someone that you like them is to just tell them. But you need to build them up to the idea first before you tell them completely. If you drop hints by flirting, he might get the picture & you telling him may not come as a shock & he'll be more calm to it. If you just tell him, he might get freaked out & shy away from talking to you or being your friend, so flirt with him a lot & then eventually tell him. That usually works best because he might like you too.

If he's going out with someone else, then he probably isn't the right guy, or maybe he just isn't interested.

Do you know that he likes you for sure? Ask him. If he does, then talk to him more & see what the deal is with him & his girlfriend. If he doesn't break up with her anytime soon, then you need to stop wasting your time waiting on someone who isn't waiting for you.

Yes, I want boxers for beddy time! I can't find a site with the right ones. This is gonna sound probably stupdi and weird, but I want PJ pants and boxers with Naruto on them. so lately, i've been really depressed and gained a lot of weight from over-eating.
i need to stop. and today ist he first day i decided i wn't binge.
i just need some tips on how to stay away from the food.
i'm trying to loose 20lbs. i've gained 10lbs since school started.
oh, btw my weight is 148lbs, 5'5 and i'm 16.

Spend most of your time outside. Go for a walk, run around outside, ride your bike, just do anything that doesn't require food. The more you keep yourself occupied, the less time you'll have to think about food and eat.

I'm not saying to stop eating completely, but that could help you to stop binge-eating. It's a really dangerous & unhealthy habit, and it can get the best of us. I'd know because I also have it. Whenever I get depressed, food just seems to comfort me, and it makes me gain weight like crazy. I'm not able to eat whatever I want anymore.

I usually just keep active throughout the day doing physical activities such as walking or running so that I can lose weight & stop thinking about things that'll put my weight back on.

Okay, so I'm a sophomore in high school, and everyone I know basically knows what job they want and are taking classes related to it.

Except me.

I have absolutely no idea what I want to be 'when I grow up'. My grades are in the 90's, but other than that, I have few talents.

What I DO like to do is draw, play with computer graphics, and technology's kind of interesting to me. I'm kind of good at math, but I don't like it that much.

Are there any jobs out there that are 'for me'? And if so, is the salary good? Or just average?

You like to draw & play with computer graphics. Maybe you can do animation movies or create video games. Jobs like that might interest you, so I would suggest you try it. I'm not sure how much they pay, but I'd do some research & see what you find. Good luck!

What are some inexpensive items that would be good to send to the Troops in Iraq?
I found this website through a lady at the military hospital called ANYSOLDIER.COM. It gives soldiers in Iraq and other places a chance to post about their expierience and request items that they need or want. I really want to send a lot of things to the soldiers, but I need relatively inexpensive items that would be good for them since I'm only 14 and get a small weekly allowance (nothing like movies and cds that cost some money). I was thinking things like Kool-Aid packets, Beef Jerkey, Guitar Picks, and socks. My dad was in the military and my brother is currently in the military on a tour so I feel that I should donate as much as I can to the troops :]

What are some inexpensive items like the ones I listed that would be good to send to the troops? Where is the cheapest place you can get the item so I can get a lot of them?

I also suggest that you go to anysoldier.com and check it out. They do a lot for us and my brother tells me how much he enjoys packages and such :]

You can get most of those things at Wal*Mart. I can tell you now that most of the troops out there aren't eating good meals. They eat what the military gives them, & it's better than food in prison, but it isn't a homecooked meal & it's nowhere close to McDonald's. Maybe you can send them some food that you know won't spoil like canned soup, or canned corn. Maybe send them Chips Ahoy cookies, or a bag of chips. Send them some juice or candy.

If you're trying to focus on things they need rather than things they want, buy them deoderant, shampoo & conditioner, soap and other things like that so they can stay clean. Being stuck in sand all the time is kind of annoying. So you can send them things like that. Stuff like that can be cheap if you look around, but do remember to make the things you send out there co-ed [for women too] because it's not just men out there. There are women too.

My boyfriend was in the Marines & just recently passed away in Iraq, but I used to send him food & stuff like that a lot because I know he needed it & he never had to ask. He loved getting packages & letters so even if you can't send them something, write to them. They love seeing that someone cares. And it is true. They give up their lives everyday so that we can enjoy ours.

I've been into a girlfight. The girl was talking shit so I confronted her in the bathroom. I don't fight like a girl though, I fight like a guy. I punch, tackle, slam & that's about it. If I really wanna fuck her up, I wear rings or I wrap her hair around my fist & slam her head into something.

However, other girls who don't know how to fight slap, pinch, bite & scratch. That's the wrong way to fight. I don't suggest you fight the way I do, or the way other girls, or even fight at all.

I've tried Venus (teal, pink), Venus Vibrance, Venus Breeze, and Daisy. I would prefer shaving to other hair removal methods.

I use BIC razors, and I like them. To me, they work WAY better than those fancy razors that cost like 10 dollars for just one. BIC shavers are A LOT cheaper. At Wal*Mart, you pay like 50 cents for two, so for like 2 dollars you can have 8 shavers & it'll last you a while.

I personally think those are the best razors, and I don't use any other kind because these are the ones I'm addicted to.

Okay.... well here is my problem, summer fucked me up, ahem well i have completely forgotten how to write a 5 paragraph essay and my teacher this year isnt giving us the handout. so my paper is due by the end of the day like 2:25 pm [U.S. & Canada eastern] and i really really really would like to get this paper done now. since i only have what, twelve hours to do it.

You don't know how to write a 5 paragraph essay? I realize 3 grueling months of summer can throw you off, but knowing how to write an essay is common sense.

Your first paragraph is the introduction. In this paragraph, you introduce the subject, give background on it, and then state your thesis.

The body paragraphs [2,3,4] are where you support your thesis & give details to make sure your subject is valid.

The last paragraph is the conclusion. You restate the thesis, & conclude the essay.

It's not hard.
