The person below me did not recommend a good straightners at all. The plates are way to huge, the straighters plastic, heavy, and I hated it. It broke in the same week.

Alright, my mom says that I shouldn't be an actress because she doesn't want to see me waiting tables when I get older. But I love acting, it's what I do, I mean my nickname is basically Drama Queen. But now I don't like much attention, yet I still want to be an actress, that or do something with animals. Everyone says that I'm a great actress, and I'm waiting for for the play I always wanted to do, Romeo and Juliet. Ever since I was like 5, I wanted to do this play. But I think I should just end my acting career now. Who am I kidding, show buisness wants an actress to be beautiful and skinny, which im neither. What do you think I should do? Should I end my acting career?

If you set your mind too it, you can do anything you want. Most actresses aren't pretty, and skinny. Look at Q Latifa, she is not skinny at all. But because of it, look at the rolls she plays in movies. Take up some private acting study, or acting classes. I am sure you can find some in your area. Don't give up. I have been acting acting and singing since I was 4, and im getting better and better every day. I probably won't get anywhere, but hey, who knows?

Can parents see texts messages their kids sent through the Verizon Wireless website or something? My friend claims to have gotten for phone taken away because her mother found a spot on the website and read all of her text messages. Also, another friend complained of this but she had Cingular.

My brother's girlfriend has the Administrator's account in her family for Verizon.com and she said she found no where on there to do such a thing. Is it possible?

I think your friend probably got in trouble because they saw she was texting numbers of strangers possibly. You can't see the messages. Once they are gone off your phone, they're private. Only the person you texted, and you know what they said.

Only on the verizion site can you see not the messages, but the NUMBERS you texted.

f/13 okay, i wanna try out for the cheerleading squad next year. it's not so much of a problem since i have a background on dance and gymnastics anyways. but most of the people in the squad are POPULAR. and i happen to be NOT. i know it's not much, but they ask for a group routine when you try out. i'd probably have my own routine, but not a group, since my friends don't want to be cheerleaders. how am i gonna fit in?

Yesterday, I went to the mall with my Mom. I found a really cute skirt, and a top. When I tried it on, my mom insisted that "they were too tight." This happens ALL the time when we go shopping. Every time I try something on, my mom says, "No, its too tight" or "I think you need a bigger size," when I really don't. Something could fit just fine, and she would still insist that it is too small.

So the other day, I started crying, because she never likes ANYTHING that I try on. Then she asked me what was wrong, and I said, "Apparently I'm fat!" And she goes, "Oh no, you're not fat. The clothes just run small."

Mind you, I am a pants size 0, and I weigh 88 pounds. When I was younger, I used to be kind of chubby. I don't know why my mom does this- I'm trying to decide if it's because I really do look fat, or if its because she thinks I look good and doesn't want me to wear tight/revealing clothes. I am very upset, and lately I've been feeling like I don't want to eat. I decided to give up candy, and I fear becoming anorexic. Yet my mom, (who is not thin) continues to encourage me to eat candy.

Should I say something the next time she does this? I am getting really pissed off, and I feel like shouting, "You're just jealous because I'm not fat like you!" at her.

To start off, YOU'RE NOT FAT!! Don't think that at all.

This is something advicenators isn't going to know how to fix. It's between you and your mom. The best thing would be is to talk to her, in a calm manner. Tell her that you know the size you should wear, and the things you pick are based on comfort, not all style. Tell her when you buy stuff, that you want to be able to pick it out, because you're definitely a teenager [I hope you're over 13, or you shouldn't be on this site]

One thing you don't want to do, is call your mom fat. That wont get you anywhere but grounded for a month. Believe me, I've said some pretty nasty darn things to my mom, and she took it too far.

Don't become anorexic, because thats not the way out. That will just get you so skinny, until you die. If you want to lose a few pounds, which in my viewing, you don't need to, then just do some excersizing, and cut back on the candy. Tell your mom you don't want to eat any candy!

Unless your parents are very lenient, I don't think anyone's parents would let their kids get a tattoo that little.
You also have to be 18, to get it done by a licensed professional. Unless you get it done by someone who is not, but you could get in a lot of trouble I am pretty sure.

me and all my friends are 13. my friend and her boyfriend have been talking about oral, and fingering, ans sex.. he has a concom, and she says shes ready, and shes been talking about it with my other friend who also really wants it too. they say there prepared, and so are there boyfriends. the problem is im not supposed to know this, so i cant talk to them abou it. and plus im not sure if she was telling the tuth, or just saying that, but when everyone found out, she got mad, and i think it means it was true. i really cant do anyhting to help her, but i wanna know if thirteen is too young. Well, I am in health right now and we are starting to study teen depression and all and bi-polar disease and Im really starting to think I have it because I thought it was what everyone was thinking and feeling but now that I hear the descriptions and all it really sounds like me how do I tell my mom that I think I am depressed? Also how do I treat it without going to a doctor because we do not have much money. Or are there any ways I can treat it without telling my mom? Thanks!

I thought I was bipolar too, and I told my mom that I thought I needed to see a physcologist. I did, and it turned out I was bipolar. You don't have to tell your mom, but it could get worse without meds, over time. Don't try and self diagonose yourslf though.
