braces
do any of you have rubber bands for your braces? if so do they hurt! please let me know i get them wednesday!

Yeah your teeth get sore for a little while, but really, they're actually more annoying than painful^V^
Anyway, i advise you to wear them either way, to get used to them. Sure, you can take them off, but what happened with me was that i wore them for like a month the way i was supposed to, then i took them off because i didn't like them (even though i was already used to them) and then whenever i would put them back on, my teeth would hurt again, and since my orthodontist said they weren't working out for me, she put some crazy metal thing that worked just like the bands, only those bother a LOT and you can't take them off...
So, um, yeah...wear them... all that wasn't part of your question, but because my stupidity led to an extra year and a half of braces, i thought i'd warn you, just in case you didn't take it seroiusly^_^

My best friend has them and she never seems to have problems and shes a big wimp so im sure your fine..

They didn't hurt for me. It depends how messed up, and how sensitive your gums, and teeth are.

the rubber bands kind of hurt at first but you get use to them
