Dakota Fanning Hounddog
Does anyone know the official US (NY) release date of Hounddog (Dakota Fanning's new movie) and if there is a trailer somewhere that i can see. ANd what it is rated???

From what I know the controversal film with Dakota Fanning did not go over well with critics or film buyers at the Sundance Film Festival in Feb.
Since then unless it has changed since I last checked nobody has been interested in buying the rights to distribute it domestically in the U.S. or internationally for that matter. It will probably never see a theatrical release but rather end up on DVD.
There's no release date for the film and it's considered to be unrated because the ratings board called the MPAA for theatrical releases haven't stamped a rating on it because it isn't and hasn't been released or screened outside of Sundance or other film festivals.
I could find neither an official site for the movie or even a trailer for you. I do know how to contact the PR firm who promoted it at Sundance but that won't help you any unless you are a journalist.

Looks like it's going to be released on 15 February 2008.

It's independent, so it will be hard to obtain. It's already been released. It's not rated but if it was it would probably be rated R or NC-17. It's not for children. It's also supposed to suck, so I wouldn't waste my time going to all the trouble.
