I'm a little unexperienced in the dating world. Entering highschool and having only dated one person is nothing to boast about. I have a hard time realizing that guys are cute and always needing a second opinion... But this guy, is different, I've known him since Elementary and he's a Buddhist, Commie, and Libral Democrat. I think I'm in love. The problem. 1) I don't know how to approach him, 2) My friend, we'll call her Sarah and her best friend Melanie, likes him too... They've always had no trouble and are putting me under a lot of pressure. Don't know what to do... Help? (link)

well if you really like him then you should go for it. just tell him how you feel. if you're comfortable around him then tell him that you've only had one b/f but you still like him. when i went into highschool i didnt have much experience at all. but you learn. and as for your friends, well you never really find a guy you like right? and they do. so you should go for it because im sure in a few days they'll find someone else that they like too. good luck. hope i helped.

okay so my best friend she has this problem where she flirts with EVERYONE! she like cheats on all her bf and flirts with every guy she sees and does stuff with them too. well there is this guy mike and i realy like him and i have for awhile but she just told me that shes gonna go hang out with thim tonight...and i dont knoe wut to do i mean i can't really tell her that i still like him cuz we just got into a fight and like i don't want her makein-out wit him tonight cuz i have him right at my fingertips we're almost even goin out.. and im afraid that if she flirts with him tonight he will prolly do sumthing wit her and then i'll lose him all over again!

well you should talk to mike and tell him how you feel. if he likes you too then he wouldnt make out with her. and maybe you should just ask him out. that way there's a better chance that they wont do anything. i hope everything works out.

i have a really close relationship with my friend mike he's not a boyfriend or anything and i dont see him that way at all, but he's like an older brother to me and ever since we became friends he has been. well, i USED to dress punk, and he does now too...and well im prep now but he hasnt seen me...im afraid that hes not gunna wanna be my friend anymore since im dressing prep, i mean maybe he still will but maybe he wont...i just have worries, what do i do?

it shouldnt matter what you look like or how you dress. as long as you're still the same person you are then it shouldnt matter. if you're the same then theres no reason he shouldnt be friends with you; unless hes changed. but i think that if you're youself then he'll still be friends. hope i helped. good luck.

Well.. My best friend mandy really liked my boyfriends, Friend Trav And they got along and then started to go out. Travs cuz dill told me that Trav might hurt mandy, So i remeberd that... And then today he told mandy that he doesnt like her and he likes this other girl.. So he broke up wit her cuz of another girl.. So now i got mad and i told my boyfriend about it and he told trav so now trav is mad at me and my boyfriend i dont know what to do!!! (link)

well it sounds to me like Trav is a real jerk. maybe your bf should talk to him and tell him that you didnt mean anything by it but you were just trying to look out for a friend. its not like you tryed to get Trav mad at you guys. if hes still mad then hes a jerk and he doesnt seem like the person you should waste you energy on. hope i helped.

well when my b/f told me he loved me i was having a really bad day and i had cryed in school which is the one thing i hate doing the most. i had told him about my day(we dont go to the same school) and he's like "if it makes you feel any better, i love you" i dont know if this is the type of thing you were looking for but there's my story.

well me this girl nd this guy were soo close .. like when we were together we culdnt get enough of the friendship nd when we were away from eachother we were either on the fone or missing everything! well i made out wit this guy nd for sum odd reason i had an allergic reaction to the kiss! so my mouth was infected and i got relle sick -- with 105 fevers nd everything .. i was sick for 2 weeks nd everything jus fell apart over nothing. after i got better everything was still different.. they were still close but stoppd calling me nd never invited me anywhere.. after that i got in a fite wit the guy over a lie nd everything changed even more! everythings pretty okay now im close wit both of them again but sometimes i feel like theres still something comen between the 3 of us.. what shuld i do?

well, take her to one of her favorite places to go(if thats possible). like take her to a movie and then maybe lay a blanket in one of your backyards and watch the stars together. thats what i love to do with my b/f. its beautiful just looking at the stars with the one you love. hope i gave you some idea...

well if you dont want to be with him then you should dump him. dont lead him on any longer. i know it sucks having a b/f who lives 20 min away but i get to see him on weekends sometimes and all. but if you really dont want to stay with him then just tell him that you dont really want a b/f right now with school starting and classes and all. and tell him that you still want to be friends with him. you just dont want a b/f at the moment. hope i helped.

Well, me and this guy have been messing around for the past 5 monthes and we went out the first two but then we broke up. Now, he's got a girlfriend and is still messing around with his other X. He tells me he loves me but its just better the way things are. The last time we went out, i broke up with him because i liked it when we were just messing around..but now, I really want to be with him. I just know i'll get hurt. try setting him down and explain to him that you want to be with him and you dont want to get hurt and you think that you eventually will but you still really really want to be with him. if you really love him then you should try to make it work again. hope i helped.

Just a few days ago my boyfriend bought me flowers just randomly. Well i got some pictures of us developed and had him pick out his fav. one. Today I'm going to get it inlarged and framed... and he guessed i was going to do that. Does anyone have any good ideas of little things i could get him including the picture. well if you want to do something else for him then write him a poem about how he makes you feel. or you could make him a scrap book with pics of you and him and just little things that remind you of him. hope i helped.

my friend whose a girl and 14 told me a few days ago that she cutts. i was devistated wen i heard this. i asked her wat in the world wud make u so miserable as 2 kill urself? and she sed that her family was messed up and that shes ben feeling really depressed. i told her 2 think bout wat life will bring her in the future. youll have kids a husband a job and a happy life. i dont think it convinced her. wat should i do? im almost an expert in this area for a few reasons. ok well tell her how much you would miss her if she killed herself and how worried you are about her. when my friend told me she would kill herself i told her that if she went then i would do the same thing right after i found out she did. you have to keep telling her that cutting isnt the answer. it seems like a good sulution now because you forget about whats wrong and just concentrate on the pain. but it doesnt make your problems go away. tell your friend that she can go to you whenever she needs to talk. just be there for her. thats all i can really say. hope i helped. if you still need help then drop one in my inbox. good luck.

all my life i've bin mostely put down about the way i look even if it wasent intentional...so now that i'm older (15) i am starting to get compliments from ppl(guys) but not many but even so i cant take them i always say something that disses myself and i'm staring to think maybe i do look good but when i look in the mirror i just see ugly and its bugs....i'm thinking maybe i just need a guys that will finaly treat me right so i might feel better but i'm not sure. maybe if that happens i will change cuz all the guys i've ever dated put me down in some way or another so that might have something to do with it but i dunno if you can help this problem i am saying THANK YOU! well i was the same way as you until i met my bf and we've been together for almost a year. i felt ugly just as you do and im 15 now also so i didnt listen when guys said something nice about me. but my b/f has treated me better than my ex's have and im starting to feel better about myself. just start to see some good things in yourself. like what do you like most about your face? for me its my eyes because they're grey. its different for everyone but you should put yourself down because it just makes it worse. try not to do that so much and then you'll start to do it less and less and hopefully you'll find a guy who will make you feel beautiful(like you probably are). hope i helped.

My girlfriend is moving three states over for 6 months because of family problems but will for sure be back by then. She says she wants to continue dating while shes gone but i dont know if i can do that. We would only beable to talk on the phone and maybe i could drive over a few times. to make it work you have to be able to trust the other person. they are far away but you have to trust that they wont cheat on you. if they love you then they wont. and its not like shes permanently moving there. it will just make her return even more special because you havent really gotten to see her much. it might even bring you closer. hope i helped.

well im done growing taller but im still getting bigger. you're still growing. just not as fast as your friends are. dont worry about it. once you do get bigger, you'll hate having to run stairs and jump and stuff. lol. hope i helped.

well hes not a good b/f if hes making you do anything that you dont want to. tell him no, and keep telling him no until you're ready. and if he still pushes for sex...dump him. hes not worth your energy. never do anything you dont want to do no matter what a guy tells you. hope i helped.
