Hi There,

I am a English male of Part Jewish non orthodox & Part COE (Church Of England) Blood, and am in love with a Muslim girl from Saudi Arabia. Even thou she isn't in an arranged marriage & her parents have given their blessing to a marriage of her choice providing the groom is an Arab or Muslim, I understand that the only way I would be allowed to Marry this girl is either me turning to Islam or by Mahr, as I am non religous I am very confused on what to do. I am deeply in love with this girl & want to provide her with the love she deserves.

Any advice you can give would be surley appreactied.

If you marry this girl and not convert her parents might never want to have anything to do with you. If she has a brother, what I would do is get him to sweet talk to her parents telling them how great you are and all. Something that would also get on their good side is, if you want, to tell them that if/when you had children, you'd raise them Muslim.


If you're not religious then why not convert? You wouldn't really have to do anything religious, just for her.

Labels aren't going away. If you dress a certain way, you will be given a certain label. There's nothing you can do about it so you might as well either accept it or just not listen. Why does it bother you anyways? If someone calls you something you don't think you are, tell them why you aren't.

I heard about an eating disorder that doesn't have a name. It's supposedly very common. the disorder is not being able to eat in front of other people. I'd just like some information on this... is there a name for it? what is it? and is it even a disorder?

I'm just curious, that's all.

It's more of being self conscious and not having enough self-esteem/confidence than an eating disorder. People, mostly girls, don't want people thinking that they're fat asses so they try not to eat in front of others, especially guys.

Is there a way I can get soft ringlets by using a curling iron? I've tried but it all just kind of clumps together and doesn't make separate little curls. My hair is shoulder-length.

Bigger curling irons make looser curls. Also, don't curls too big of a section at once; that's what makes your hair stay together. Small sections, big curler, and hairspray.

Do you think that giving your best friend a gift card is too impersonal?
Because the thing is even though we are really close I have no clue what to give her. Then any time I ask what she wants she just says, 'Whatever you know what I like.' And infact I do know what she likes but she seems to already have everything.
So is a gift card really something you could give a best friend?

I think many people do think that they are too impersonal but I love getting gift cards. I'd rather get a gift card than something I don't like. You get to pick out you're own gift, it's great haha.


But, even though I like getting them, I feel weird giving them sometimes. Because it's kind of like saying, "Hey, even though we've been friends for a long time, I still don't know what to get you!"


Sometimes it works if you buy something that you'd want, if you have the same taste that is. Or maybe go to the mall with her and if she points out something that she like go back another time and buy it for her.


If you can't do that, I think it'd be fine to give her one. Write something cute on the card holder though. Like--
"I thought about what to get you and everything that came in mind, you already had! So decided to give you this. Get yourself something, it's on me ;)."

Today in school they had assemblys for each grasde level well it was all about fighting. this is my first year at my school because i moved I'm a junoir well the school i go to now has not had a fight until this year like we've like 3-4 fights already i mean idk to me that not realy alot my old school we had tons of fights i mean constantly fights some would be bad and some would not. point here is my school and the people in it make this big deal about the fights saying they are going to end up being a bad school and what not. To me i want people to stop talking about it cause its driving me crazy i think they are over reacting about it.

I don't know if i should just let it bother me and aggravate me or just let it blow by.
- is it really all that bad having 3-4 fights this year.? counting they havent had any in 6 years?

Before this year my school almost never had any fights and we were considered a "good" school. But since this school year started, we've been having ATLEAST one or two a day. I think it's horrible and I have no idea what has gotten over everyone. Many people made a big deal about it because we weren't used to having so many fights. But, everyone is getting used to it now which is not a good thing at all. It's just sad, to me anyways, that people do feel the need to fight at school so much.


I don't think that constant fighting is something that everyone should get used to because it's ridiculous. So yes, for a school that usually doesn't have fights, 3-4 is a big deal. And your school Apes and counselors should start doing something about it now before it gets crazy.


It might not seem like a big deal to you only because you have gotten used to having so many at school.

I'm a junior in high school and since last year I've seen this guy around school and I've always thought he was just the cutest ever. This is probably the most good looking guys I've ever seen. But I never really had a chance to meet him because I just saw him in the hallways on and at football games. He plays and I'm on the drill team. Well, even though I didn’t know him I did know that he has a girlfriend.


We were both at a part a we weeks back and we officially meet there. We got to talking and not only is this guy gorgeous but he's also a great person. We started hanging out and stuff and it was great. I knew he has a girlfriend so I made sure that I kept my flirting to a minimum (I have a problem with that).


So everything was going great with our friendship and all until last night. I invited him to my dad's Christmas party with a few of my other friends to keep me unbored throughout the night. We ended up alone in my game room just talking and hanging out. He then kissed me. Of course I kissed back because well…duh.


Know I don't know what to do because he still has his girlfriend in the picture. I thought I should just back off but I'm not sure.

Hmmm...All I would do is asking him what's up. If he likes you or not and why he kissed you. You obviously like him whether it's just physical or more. Tell him that if he does like you and plans on doing something about it to break it off with his girlfriend before hand. Refuse to do anything with him if he is still with her. Don't get involved with a guy that is in a relationship because you don't know if he's stringing her along or if he's just using you for fun. Plus you don't want to be the girl that he cheated with. If he breaks it off with her for you then he likes you that much; if he doesn't then not so much.

So I inherited my mom's fat ankles: / I've gotten used to them I guess but I was just wondering if anyone knows of anything that will make them look less kankle-ish? I'm thin (zero pants size) it's just my ankles. They're not a problem when I wear pants but if I wear a skirt or capris and want to wear regular shoes it looks really bad. It's not that bad with flip flops but I still hate them either way. So any help is appreciated! And don't tell me that don't worry about what other people are thinking and most don't notice because I know that. Most don't notice but I've gotten comments about my ankles before haha thanks!

Fat ankles aren't fun at all. I have them too. I've found that heels do a good job at hiding them. Especially pumps. And the higher the heels, the better. You can always wear heels with skirts but not always with capris though.

Yeah i know this is like really random, but i was just wondering, how do you guys feel about the store Abercrombie and Fitch. I was reading about it online and so many people seem to hate it!!!

i don't really shop there that often but i was thinking of getting some clothes there for christmas and i was just wanted to know some of yall opinionss on it

Usually people that hate it are ones that can't afford to shop there or that don't like the whole preppy look. Just like most preps don't like Hot Topic. That store really creeps me out. And then there are people that say they like Hollister but not Abercrombie. But, it's the came company so I don't get that at all. That might have to do with the prices but it's not a reason to hate a clothing store. There are bands that are a hell lot more expensive. Sorry I started rambling..haha

For fewer than 50 bucks I'd get brands like Cover Girl, Revlon, Maybelline, and things you can find at drugs stores. They're still good and not as expensive as make-up at Sephora or something like that. Although, the actual Sephora brand isn't that expensive at all. The Clinique, Dior, Hard Candy, etc. is the pricey stuff.

I have contacts and I want to get my naisl done but how will I be able to take out my contacts? Does anyone have there nails done and has contacts?

Yes, just make sure to use the tips of your fingers and not the nail. It'll be hard at first but you'll get used to it. Just be very careful the first time so you don't scratch your eye.

So I got in a fight with this guy that I was basicly seeing and it was because I got jelouse when i heard he was hanging out with other girls. I really want him back cause Im head over heals for him.
What can I do to get him back?

Just apologize to him and tell him that you just get jealous sometimes but you can't help it. I used to get jealous of girls hanging around my ex boyfriend all the time. Then I'd get mad and so would he. But, if you just tell him you're sorry and that you'll try to work on it, he'll come around.


Oh yeah, and don't try to get him jealous and stuff like that, it won't work and you might just end up pissing him off even more.
