My 12 year old cousin is going through puberty. She has always been a tomboy and she's disgusted with the whole process. To make matters worse she is developing rapidly (she's already a C-cup), and she started her period. She is normally a very happy person, but has become very depressed. She wears layered clothes and big sweatshirts, in the summer, to hide the changes of her body. Is there anything I can say or do to make her transition any easier?

(I've already tried telling her that it's normal and all girls go through it, but that didn't help.)

Ok - my uncle hits on me at almost every family gathering. It really bothers me! I told my mom and she said she'd try to help me, but I still feel so uncomfortable around him. He's always staring at me and winking, and saying that I'm hot!

ok my dad and stepmom are getting divorced. i dont live with them, so it shouldn't bother me as much as it does, and i dont know it's just a big problem. i'm afraid i'll never see my stepmom again once they get divorced, and i don't want that to happen. I got really close to her and i love her, she's almost like a sister to me. i know i cant' stop them from getting divorced, but how can i get through this and still be happy and have a good outlook on things? i'm normally an optomistic person, and i want to stay that way. i don't expect never to be sad, but what are some ways to deal with this? i went through a divorce a few years ago with my real parents, but i dont know how to get through it again. thanks in advance to everyone who helps. love ya!

I have a friend and me and her have been friends sense 4th grade we're in the 8th now , but lately she has been thinking that every single one of her exboyfriends likes me. erk.... there's a banquet in honor of one thing or another (i wasn't really paying attention to what the heck my dad was saying) and there will be dancing. my boyfriend says he would love the honor of having the first slow dance with me. one problem is... i'm not sure how to slow dance. i mean i know where to hands go... but the feet positioning and the movement just kind of gets me. >_< please don't make fun of me. please help.

Hey everyone.. well i need some advice here.. see my b/f is going away for 3/4 for labor day weekend, and i want to get him like a going away present, nothin too, i can't think of the word but you know, just something simple yet cute. i was thinking about getting a small box, not too small though, and decorating it, like maybe cutting out letters from magazines and make it say "i love you" or something. then in the box i want to put like hershey kisses in there and maybe a cute picture of me. then i wanna write like a little love note to put in the box as well. in the note i wanna say something along the lines of "this is since i can't be with you, since u can't have any kisses from me, or you won't be able to see me" but you know more detail, i wanna make it be almost a page long to make him feel special. and then at the end i'll use "xoxo hugs nd kisses" and stuff.. i haven't thought about everything i'm gonna put in the letter yet though. but anyways.. so i guess my question is, do you like my idea? (got it from somewer else though) or wut else can i do or put in the letter? also i was thinking about getting one of those big hershey kisses instead of a whole bunch of little ones but i'm not sure yet, which do you think would be better? oh also.. frame or no frame for the picture? i just wanna make him feel special, loved, ect.. i wanna let him know how much he means to me and how much i love him and am going to miss him over these days.. so any ideas would help me, thanks in advance and if you want rated ask. sorry if it's long Lol, bye.

im only 14 and about 3 days ago i got hit in the side of the face with a softball during warm up to a game... my mom took me to the doctor yesterday and he said that i had a concussion and to watch it closly because i might have a slow internal bleeding in my head... he said that if i started to act funny and get slurred speech and can barly walk that i probably need a cat scan to see what all happened for shure.. in the short time that ive have this the back of my head behind my ear has swelled up (i was hit in the front of the head) and i have really bad headaches... im getting to the point where i walk really slow and i almost fall over.. i scared of what will happen and when my friends found out they all started crying... the person who threw the ball that hit me in the head cant forgive herself and i dont know what to do.. i dont know whats gunna happen and i just need some help

I'm fifteen, female.

I get whistled at, hooted at from trucks, minorly harassed A LOT. It's harmless, and a little of it I have no problem with, but it gets annoying.

It's reeeeeeeally hot most of the time (I'm writing from Mexico, and I usually live in Southern California), so just covering up isn't an option, and it doesn't seem to help. I tried it one day when it was cool outside and got just as much unwanted attention as usual.

I've tried being a bit aggressive, but I don't know these people and most of the time they just laugh. Also, it doesn't stop it from happening the next time, which is all I really care about.

So, how can I stop guys from doing this? Is there anything I can wear that's nice and cool but utterly unflattering?

okay, this is a weird ? but here goes, i shave um..down low now but i have to wait at least 5 days before i can shave it again cuz if you dont it hurts, razor burn, lil bumps from infected hair folicles, grows back faster, you can see the hair under skin, etc. anyways i want to wax or something so it will stay smooth for a good while, but i dont have the $$ to do it professionally and thats kinda embarrassing so what should i do? i was gonna try veet but it says dont use down there so..and i could get wax and do it myself but will that work and how much will it hurt and stuff like that?? thanx!

okay... i have dark brown hair. it's about down to the middle of my back like where the back of my bra is, my hair is also EXTREAMLY thick and it gets frizzy really easily. i was thinking about cutting my hair to a little past my shoulders... like maybe taking about 2 inches or so off and getting lost of layers and long bangs to my cheekbone. the thing is i'm not sure what will happen to my hair like if it will friz up and get really poofy when it's humid outside. does anyone have any ideas on how to keep my hair from not frizzing up?
